There was a person in the back office that said hi and I walked the room having never seen this person. There was two stands of available prints for sale. The gallery is one room to walk around. I came in to see a particular artist's work. I didn't come across anything to purchase but I would come to check out other artist's shows in the future.

Came here for the grand opening of the Miyazaki gallery. I was the first person in line (humblebrag) and waited for an hour and a half. The art works were amazing. So many talented local artists. We even got to meet one of them! There were many people dressed up as Miyazaki characters. Just a great event overall! Would love to return to this gallery for other events. If only it was a bit larger though :/ P.S. The Miyazaki gallery will be up until Feb 25th, 2017. They have a bunch of prints ranging from $20 to $50!

I have a neighborhood art gallery. It takes some effort to deliver such a statement flippantly in conversation, as if it were no more remarkable than having a neighborhood coffee shop or convenience store, because the very existence of said gallery just steps from my front door makes me feel irrationally, inexplicably cool. For the past few months, however, my relationship with Spoke Art was merely a feeling of coolness-by-neighborhood-association. That is, until Spoke Art announced a new exhibition: "Bad Dads: An art show tribute to the films of Wes Anderson." My heart will forever belong to Royal Tenenbaum and his bizarre family of miserable geniuses. I defy you to find a young girl in her twenties who didn't at some point try smoking in her bathroom with a fan tied to the radiator, thimbled finger tapping the porcelain tub, a la Margot Tenenbaum. Who wasn't madly in love with both suicidal, lovesick Richie and egomaniacal, drug-addled Eli Cash. Who didn't seriously consider buying a red Adidas tracksuit and sporting a mop of dark curls after seeing how cool it looked on Ari and Uzi - or, for that matter, who didn't consider naming her firstborn Uzi. Who didn't alternately channel Margot's deadpan eccentricity and Ethel's graceful composure and occasional spectacular outburst. Who didn't blast Paul Simon's "Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard" at exasperated families, teachers, and boyfriends for the better part of a year. I love this gallery for dedicating an exhibition to the genius behind that wonderful family. And I would like all of these paintings for Christmas, please.

ffffng disgusting. and that's a compliment. the current xzibit is brightazz blobs dripping & gooping off every shelf. i didn't grab em #twss but there was a specifically touchable one on the floor by the entrance. the blobs are polyurethane foam, which the arteest bio binder describes as the result after pinay sculptor dan lam tried various substances. yuck lol. will return for other shows.

From Joshua Budich's solo show, Otaku Obscura. His son actually drew this one. Worth every penny!

Attended my first gallery show here a couple of months ago for the David Lynch exhibition. The space was a little cramped but they sure know how to curate a show! The artwork was truly breathtaking and the prices for the screen prints and giclees were reasonable. With such a diverse lineup of artists, I'm definitely looking forward to their next galley show.

check it out before it's gone!

Took a stroll over here after breakfast at Dottie's. Adorable small gallery. Stopped by specifically for the Quentin vs. Coen movie art exhibit featuring art inspired by the movies of the Coen Brothers and Quentin Tarantino. They managed to pack a lot of cool stuff into one room. I didn't catch his name but the guy manning the desk was very pleasant and we talked a bit about the space and upcoming shows. Look for a Wes Anderson movie exhibit in the fall.

    Great art work

I bought a print online at 10:06am after the 10am sale began and my print was 55 out of 100. Do they save the top numbers for insiders?

What is even better is seeing creators from around the world come to San Francisco for the Game Developers Conference. I attended the "To the Supercell Game Changers Women Driving The Industry Forward" event at Chandran Gallery around the Union Square area of San Francisco . It's good to see the diversity of people from different countries like Finland and Germany developing games for the masses and growing their brand. I also enjoyed the space which had delicious food like sushi and an open bar with wine , curated alcoholic drinks and music to enhance the experience . A good art gallery space to see art and to attend events. The event was multidimensional and influential. The good vibes inside are contagious and the gallery space is very spacious A space for artists to display art which is courageous and audacious

I thought this was a wonderful idea because you will have a limited number of people during your selected time. I lucked out and was the only person in my time slot, so I had the whole exhibit to myself. I was able to take all the pictures I wanted and spend time in this beautiful, immersive piece. I've been here once before coincidentally for the same artist without the reservation times and we definitely had to wait for other people to be done so we could take our pics. It's hard to tell when you're at an exhibit and want to take pictures with out strangers in them.

Yes having Dolores Park as your school yard and the place to spend your lunch period and some after school activities was happening all four seasons of the year not just on April 15 or 4/15 now also known as 415 day. The corporations and other entities start capitalizing on some underground fun. Now it's celebrated throughout San Francisco with people wearing items and gear which has something San Francisco on it. How I still celebrate it is going to a park in San Francisco with a favorite adult beverage currently it's a bottle of Pinot Noir for Don Juan Pinot Noir. Whether Dolores Park or Golden Park you can represent all four seasons in San Francisco by visiting that Park Life. On an April stroll in San Francisco finding where to park on Clement street can sometimes be a challenge in San Francisco. You can see people camping out for parking spots on Clement street ( like at Costco in SF). Park Life is a store on Clement street between 3rd and 4th Avenue which has items with themes of San Francisco. You will find art and stationaries. You will also see bags ,clothing, and hats with San Francisco on it that don't look like you picked it up at a souvenir shop at the Tourist trap in SF. You will also find some interesting books inside. There is a small art gallery in the back of the store . This is a good place to get a treat for yourself or grab a gift for others and have fun at a local San Francisco park . Whether it's Golden Gate Park, Duboce Park, McLaren Park, Mount Davison Park, Sue Bierman Park, Lafayette Park, Precita Park, Bernal Heights Park, Alamo Square Park, Washington Square Park, Dolores Park, Franklin Square Park, Presidio Tunnel Tops Park or Glen Park , etc. This place in San Francisco is all about that Park Life. Born and raised in San Francisco I am straight out the"golden gates "to me it's always San Francisco and I only call it the other term which is SF I am not the one who "participates "calling San Francisco different nicknames on social media or in person"debates" I just know San Francisco is the best city in the "United States" Go take a stroll to San Francisco by the Pacific Ocean and not the" Hormuz Strait" to the day I like to "celebrate" in San Francisco on April 15 also known as 415 but there is also another" date " I partake which is on June 28th also known as the other San Francisco area code the "628"
