At this time I don't have my new fence put up, I was to be done on the 28th of the month but the day before it was to be done I got an email to say because of the weather they would have to put it off to the next day. On the 28th it didn't rain and now on Friday the rain had stopped, now I have to wait for Monday. Also they wanted to have more than half of the cost of the new fence for a deposit,which I found to be very odd. Can only hope things get better, right now I'm not happy at all read more

Where to begin? They came out for the initial estimate with no issue, but it was all downhill after that. I had to call twice to get the estimate details, and what Dan had written down was partially incorrect. He came back out to "re-evaluate" the job about four days ago. Worse company ever. They had come out to do an estimate for a fence repair/new section of fence for us, and then we called in mid April to set an appointment. We were told they were booked until Monday May 24. Not happy but understandable due to it being spring and of course things were busy. Then Sunday May 23 comes around and we get a call that they were short handed due to a callout and wanted to come Tues May 24 instead. Again, we understand things like this happens. The next evening (5/24) we get a call sorry we don't have the materials can we schedule for ThursMay 25. At this point we were highly upset how did you not have materials for a minor repair and very small section of fence when we had the appointment set for over a month? Still we said ok. Then on Wed the 24th we get a call that they might not make it but will try. but on Thursday they did manage to make it, they fixed the broken part of our fence, and brought the materials for the new section, and put some concrete down. Then they left saying it needs 24 hours to set. But then never came back! The following week we received a bill! At this point we were livid. My husband called and we were told that they thought the repairs were done and said they would send another crew. Another crew showed up, looked at it, and never came back. We called again and the last thing we were told was that it would get done as soon as they can send someone else, and that the previous crew had been fired. Today is July 12. It has been three months since we originally called for the appointment, and going on two months since the original appointment date and guess what......IT IS STILL NOT DONE! How this company is still in business is beyond me. About to find another company that actually wants to do the work. read more

I had a slip board fence installed on my property last week. From beginning to end the process was flawless! My first point of contact was Robin in the stores office. She is pleasant, competent, and extremely thorough. Her initial estimate was dead on with the final price. From ordering to installation I made a few changes and it was never an issue for her. The installers were A+++++ They arrived on schedule and worked extremely hard in intense heat. The end result was far better than expected and the quality of the wood/materials was great! If fact, I am so pleased that I went in to the office today and ordered additional fencing for my property. Do NOT hesitate to use this company. I really enjoyed working with them and am 1000% happy with the result. Also, the overall cost of the fence was better than I initially expected. read more

I called Split Rail Fence Store about a new privacy fence. They did the estimate quickly with appropriate contact during the pandemic. I got my estimate very soon after and it was very reasonable. I paid half down and scheduled a date within two weeks. The workers arrived on time and said they would try to finish within one day but warned it may take two. They removed my old fence, installed new posts and put up my new fence in one day working late to get it done. It looks fabulous and they left my yard very clean, taking everything with them. I had a fence installed July 2020. From dealing with the staff in the office to the delivery and installation we were very impressed. The fence looks great, is sturdy and well installed and we will definitely be hiring them again when we are ready to add the next section. read more

This company sucks. They cut my cable line and it took 2 weeks for the line to be redone. When I called the owner to discuss it he said there was nothing he could do. If you don't call before you dig to ensure your not hitting any lines, it's your fault!! No apology or anything. So working from home is not an option for 2 weeks and he didn't even care. read more
