Jazz, classical, and in between. Sachiko Kato performed Bach on the piano last night and was simply incredible - words cannot describe the experience. That also pretty much sums up our experiences at previous performances here over the past few months. Plus, your seat is only 5 to 20 feet from the performers, and there are intimate interviews after the performance that provide a glimpse into the artist's lives and the inspirations for their work. It doesn't get any better than this. Jim & Genevieve Luce, the proprietors, are gracious and hospitable, often serving some form of refreshment. This is one enormous step towards making Rahway a destination for great music and art, along with the beautifully renovated 80-year old theater next door and a new performing arts center nearby that will be completed in May 2012.

We would definitely consider having another event here. The price was economical and I see there are other specials that we could take advantage of in the future. My only disappointment was they did not share that the front of the parking lot was unusable, due to repaving. However, I think everyone managed to find a spot without blocking someone.
