Found this place today while in downtown Lebanon. I had the chicken salad, white cheddar broccoli soup and a brew light roast coffee. The food is freshly prepared, locally sourced when possible and the coffee is roasted onsite. Chicken salad was excellent, the coffee fresh and atmosphere is relaxing. Perfect spot to kill an hour in Lebanon, after visiting a few novelty shops in the square. I had an iced sugar-free caramel Americano and the chicken salad on spring greens, and it was very tasty and filling. I was looking for a small coffee shop in Nashville and found this place on a Google search. I stopped and ordered a cup of their lighter roast drip, which they call "just coffee". Stopped here on the way to Franklin and got the Honey Bee Latte. It was so good! Not too sweet and has a delicious flavor. The lady said they use raw honey and make their own cinnamon syrup. Loved that because I can't stand the processed pump syrups so many coffee shops use. read more

Honey bee latte is delicious and made correctly. So many coffee shops don't know how to make a proper latte or cappuccino. Also got a biscuit bomb it was huge and to die for. Savory sausage, egg, and cheese in a sweet dumpling dough. Sorta like a pot pie. Everything is fantastic. Great coffee shop vibe in an old building. This is a wonderful, great inside feeling, quaint, and they open at 6:00 AM. Not knowing that I drove by before my haircut. First time to just show up. The place was packed at 8:30 AM with all ages of adults, all n their own conversations. My coffee drink was excellent and my muffin huge and delicious!! I'm hooked if I'm close. I am so surprised by the rave reviews of this place... I live in Nashville, so I am somewhat spoiled by excellent coffee shops, but I really don't get the number of 5-star reviews. Is there coffee? Yes. Is it independently owned? Yes. There is also wifi, and I did not have an issue finding a plug for my laptop. That is about all I can say for it. The coffee was on par with Starbucks. The pastries all looked store bought. The sandwiches/salads that people are talking about in the reviews are all in a to-go case. (To be fair-- there is not really a kitchen there, so I think this is the best way for them to provide food. I just don't really get these reviews of people raving about food in a to-go case.) They sold out of soup by 11:30 even though the place did not really seem busy or crowded. I had a roast beef sandwich on a croissant that tasted like something from a weird box lunch in the 2000s. I mean.. was this place terrible? No, but it was just fine. I'm sure it is a work in progress and will get better, but until then, it is really just the bare minimum of what a coffee shop needs. My only explanation for these rave reviews is that these people must have never been to a coffee shop before. read more

This little eatery is the jewel of Lebanon. The chicken salad was homemade and absolutely delicious. We paired it with a broccoli cheese soup. Thinking we were going to get manufactured thick cheese & broccoli imagine our delight to get the tastiest cheese based soup with actual broccoli florets in it. I would return here just for the food.
