We had the most awful experience at this hotel--so bad that we decided to leave mid-stay. Upon arriving, we discovered rubbish on the bedroom floor, water leaking in the restroom, internet not working, lights out of order, and an air conditioner that dripped directly onto our faces while we slept. Despite reporting these issues at 8AM in the next morning, by six in the evening nothing had been addressed. It took multiple phone calls just to get the floor cleaned, and the other problems were never fixed during our stay.
The hotel itself was filthy, with trash in the hallways and dirty linen everywhere. Even the restaurant floor was very dirty, and the breakfast was both poor in quality and had to be ordered the day before. Adding to the disappointment, the spa was closed for the holiday season, and the hotel manager, which we asked to speak to several times, was apparently on holiday too the whole time--or simply unwilling to speak with us.
When we arrived the second night and parked in the same spot as before and instructed by other security, a security guard came aggressive and screamed at us to move out because it was supposedly a reserved area "do you understand me". We ended up parking 800 meters away in pouring rain, which was the final straw that convinced us to leave. Making matters worse, none of the hotel's contact numbers given and across the internet works, so it is nearly impossible to reach anyone for help or an update on our refund.
We requested a refund when we checked out early, but we still have not received any reimbursement. Overall, we strongly recommend that you save yourself the stress and avoid this hotel. The combination of poor hygiene, absent and unresponsive management, aggressive security staff, and terrible customer service makes it one of the worst accommodations we have ever experienced. read more
