Was looking forward to this as a day out during a family holiday but was dissapointed. The price is very high for what you get, the park is very small and there is only 8 slides which you have to que a long time for.
It was a warm summers day when we went (i later got sunburn on the nearby beach) but the park was intolerably freezing! the pool water was ice cold (colder than the sea we later found out!) and did not start warming up until around 1pm. being in the cold pool which really took our breath away and waiting up tall open stairs for rides in the sea breeze (park right on beach) made us absolutley misarably freezing and really spoiled it all. Our children were crying and shivering uncontrollably. NOT what you want when you have just paid £55 for a day pass.
Eventually we could not take anymore and were desperate to leave and get warm so i explained the situation to the staff and manager who were very polite and gave us a full refund, which was very good of them.
A big part of the problem is the park is all outside, given the british weather it is a huge downfall. Would have been loads better if there had been some indoor rides and pools as well. read more
