When we came out of the pool we had a roast Sunday dinner in the pool restaurant / cafe, the staff were very cheerful, pleasant and helpful. The pool facilities are really good with changing cubicles next to the pool and security lockers for your belongings whilst you are in the pool. Plenty of parking room along side. I have not been in the gym, although I intend to do so, all in all a very pleasant experience. The water in the pool is excellent warm an very soft.

The changing rooms are on the poolside and therefore it is still warm after you get out and get changed. There are also a couple of family changing rooms if you have small children with you. There is also a small jacuzzi type pool for adults only but I have never seen anyone in it. There are a range of classess for adults and children available and a gymnasium. Childrens swimming lessons take over the pool one evening a week but it is one of the nicest pools Ive been to and definately very child friendly. There is also a small cafe but this is very basic.

The gym itself and the pools are in great shape, but the main entrance area is very uninviting, and doesn't inspire anyone who walks through the door. There's a lot of wasted space and dark decor which makes it feel old and cramped.

Firstly, it is a very expensive place to join, and quite simply it is no longer worth the money. I used to be a member, but left due to facilities not being maintained. for long stretches the outdoor pool was unavailable, likewise with the jacuzzi and when speaking to staff it seemed like it was not particularly to get it sorted as quick as possible. Also air conditioning was a problem for the whole time i was there, with it not working in the gym for some time and never working well in the badminton courts, why this hasn't been sorted is beyond me? Recently went back after being offered a free weekend to try it out again, and i wasn't impressed. This was a time where they could have won back my support, but instead i found that the staff could barely be bothered to talk to me about their offers and still many facilities were unstable. The only redeeming feature is the bar, which is really nicely lighted and offers excellent food, however, even this is overpriced.
