Was not able to do business with them. Had a closing scheduled with them for over 3 weeks. They called me the day before on a Friday at 3 pm that they couldn't use our system. This did not give me enough time to respond or find someone else to do this for the season. I sent an email and called. No response so I canceled the service. Very disappointing. read more

Disappointed - Crystal was very nice. My husband had passed away and this was a first for me having mainteance on my pool for the summer - Bad experience - Paid to open pool in May and finally got the pool clean in July. I had to have my nephew screw down the plugs to hold the cover so one would trip on them because they were in such a hurry to open the pool and put the old dirty cover in the bag wet without even trying to clean it. The boys who came were rude. I paid for 15 cleanings, bought a new filter and new winter cover. The pool was vacuumed once. Good thing I have a dolphin which did all the work. Wonder why they took the tool to take the cover off and on when they left. Crystal said she would have the boys drop one off - never happened. I am a senior citizen "84 years old" and believe I was taken advantage of and they sure got a lot of money from my Citi Card. Sure makes me wonder if Matt was using the chemicals I paid for for his own use doing work on the side. read more

How wonderful, my 78 year old mother had Splash come and open her pool. After the guys opening it damaged the pump, pipes etc.. they left saying they didn't have parts to fix it. She's had the pool opened by them for years and has always been happy with the service. It's now been two weeks and they can't be bothered trying to rectify the situation, my mom isn't looking for anything free just to get it fixed!!! Multiple calls have been ignored and there is an excuse for every issue. NEVER again, just horrible! I wish there could be negative stars! read more

I'm on the fence about this place. I know that it's hard to be in a service business and make everyone happy all the time. They use seasonal employees that know less about pools than a turnip. If you know what you want and they have it then you are good. Don't bother calling there, just go look for yourself. Twice they have told me they had something then nada when I arrive. Came out to open my pool and I paid them in full. They said a return cover was broken and they would be back the following week to replace it (I think they broke it because they closed our pool the year before and no one had been out by the pool except them when they came to open it). I called the next week to see when they would be back and got the run around. I called about 5 more times over the next week asking to talk to the owner, every time they said someone would call me back and I never heard from anyone! They have horrible customer service and I would never use this company again! read more

If you are clueless you might feel like you are being taken advantage of. Don't be clueless! These guys are straight up and great. My Hayward pump died last week - had it over 25 years. I searched on-line for the best deals as well as at all the local businesses. Splash had the best deal so I went there. I had been quoted upwards of $650 down to $450. Splash quoted me $425. When I went in the owner indicated that I didn't need the whole pump - just the motor - and he saved me over $170 at that time. I waited a few days for the pump to be done, brought it home, and it didn't work. It kept shutting down after 30 seconds. I called Jake, the manager, and he told me to bring it back. Took it apart and decided to give me another one - no real questions asked. He took the time to put on a new pump, and got me out the door in less the 45 minutes. I brought the new one home and it is working great. The service is great - Jake was great to work with and I appreciated that they weren't out to make a quick buck on me and gave me a quality pump when it was all said and done with good information and service. Live three miles from one pool place and five miles from another... i travel the farthest to get here and will again. read more

I wish I had read the previous review before wasting two weeks of my life on this company. I called and was told I would receive a call back on a repair within the week . Week goes by, with no return phone call to schedule, so I, once again call company with a gentle reminder (I understand this is busy season and am a very patient person) only to be put on hold and told the owner of the company doesn't want to come out to my town. The owner Paul helped me buy a Dolphin robot inground pool cleaner a couple weeks back and I couldn't be happier. I can clean the pool myself as needed! He spent the time to show me how to use it and it's been very easy to use even for someone like me. My pool has been crystal clear ever since. His sons Nick and Justin have come to open, close, clean and repair the pool over the years. They are also very knowledgeable and super helpful. I have gone to splash for years for routine items. Convenient and always friendly. My filter motor was leaking. I showed a picture to Paul and he said bring it up as it was a gasket. Brought it up and Joe did the work. This is where I wish I never went. $100 later which was twice what Paul said and I picked it up. Had people help me reattach as the sand filter had to be moved. Started it and no better and even worse. Went back up and talked to Joe. Pretty much an oh well and sent me on my way. Went back up and talked to Paul(owner) and after much back and forth he agreed to have his service team pick it up. (Joe said it would cost me another $250 for service call). The service team came out and right away said the housing was craked. How could Joe have missed this. Went back up and Joe pretty much said "sorry" he has a smirk and I wanted to talk to Paul again. No return call. No money back. No help at all. So now I still have a craked housing but out $100 for work I did not need. My review is do not come here for service. I asked for advice and got nothing but work I did not need. The crake by the way is very obvious and should have been noticed before the waste of $100. read more

Just moved to the area a few years ago and have a pool for the first time. Looked around the area for supplies for the pool and Splash Pool Supply is the best we've found. The staff is super helpful and I've found everything I need there. So Splash opened my pool initially this Summer and added chemicals etc. The pool stayed cloudy for a while but we got all that figured out after a $280 service call and many chemicals. THEN after the last service call our pool started losing water. I called Splash and was told that they could come check in but it wouldn't be for like a week and a half. This concerned me because of the rate the pool was losing water. I called another pool company and got an appointment for the next day (and their service call fee was $129). I called Splash that same day and cancelled the appointment they gave me. Well lo and behold a few days later Splash was calling my husbands phone. We never called them back. Then a few days later there was a $281 "service charge" on our credit card. I immediately called Splash and was told that they came out the next day and that they FIXED the leak (mind you my pool was still losing water-matter of fact half the pool was empty!). I proceeded to tell them we had cancelled the appointment and no one ever came to our house. The lady on the phone argued but in the end they did reimburse the $281 back. I just felt uncomfortable with their level of service and the fact that I was lied to. Not good business. read more

Ordered a replacement cover, it came in a box that realized later was opened. When I looked for the deck sockets they weren't there. I called Paul 3x and never received a return call. I contacted the manufacturer and they said the deck sockets are shipped with all covers. And the cover doesn't fit right. read more
