To Anyone Listening, Let me tell you about my experience at…read morethe Mister Car Wash, 901 N Euclid Ave, Bay City, MI 48706, on 12/2/24--an experience so ridiculous it could be mistaken for a sitcom episode, if it weren't so infuriating. I pulled into the location with plans to sign my brand-new car up for a membership. (I've been a loyal member for over two years with my truck.) However, upon arrival, I encountered what can only be described as a disaster in the driveway. A small, grey Subaru BRX--or something similarly insignificant--was parked smack in the middle of the entrance/exit driveway. Who parks like that? Seriously. Being a reasonable person, I honked my horn and threw up my hands, as if to say, "What are you thinking?" You know, the universal signal for, "Move your car out of the way!" Instead of apologizing or doing the logical thing, the driver of the Subaru revved his engine like he was in Fast & Furious: Clown Edition and then followed me into the car wash lane. So, I did what any frustrated person would do--I brake-checked him. That's when things got interesting. This tiny little man, suffering from what I can only describe as Hitler syndrome mixed with delusions of grandeur, pulled alongside me, jumped out of his car, and approached my vehicle. Now, picture this: I'm a 235/240-pound powerlifter sitting in my car, blocked in too close to the payment machine to open my door. This guy--who, let's be honest, sounded like a little barking Chihuahua running back and forth in the backyard, completely reliant on the fence to protect him--proceeded to raise his voice and lecture me about my "unacceptable" behavior. Unacceptable?! Blowing my horn because you parked like a clown is what's unacceptable. At this point, I'm yelling back at this clown trying to explain to this wannabe dictator that in the United States, we drive on the right side of a two-way lane. His response? He claimed there was plenty of room for me to get around him--despite him sitting dead-center in the lane. Delusional much? But wait, it gets better. Another employee, someone I've seen countless times over the last two years, had the audacity to chime in and tell me they weren't going to sell me a car wash. Excuse me? Let me remind you--I came there to give you my money and sign up another vehicle for a membership. Instead, I left with nothing but frustration and the decision to cancel my existing membership unless corporate steps in. To add insult to injury, this little Hitler-wannabe apparently thinks his "general manager" title at a car wash gives him the right to act like a big shot. Here's a tip: If you need a booster seat to see over your steering wheel, maybe don't puff out your chest like you're running a Fortune 500 company. What Needs to Happen: Corporate needs to review the parking lot CCTV footage to see the absurdity for themselves. Disciplinary action should be taken against this "manager" for his unprofessional and aggressive behavior. This location clearly needs customer service training--badly. I've been a loyal customer for over two years, but after this laughable and infuriating encounter, I'm done--unless something changes. There are plenty of other car washes that will treat paying customers with the respect they deserve. Sincerely, Unhappy Customer!
