My truck, a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer, has a fairly high number of miles yet it continues to run incredibly smooth thanks to the Bob and the guys at Auto Technicians. My first experience with them was a generic overhaul of my truck, providing them with a great test to verify their honesty and their integrity. I brought it in, asked them to go over everything and let me know what all I needed to do to allow me a couple more years of service out of it. I expected to hear back an impossibly high number given the age and mileage. I also knew of a couple of problems the vehicle was having, but withheld the information in the hopes they would find it. They did so, but the actual cause of the trouble was not what I thought it was so they actually saved me quite a bit of money in repairing that. They also found several items that were also in need of repair, some more important and some less. They quoted me a price that was extremely reasonable for the repair work done. A day or so into the repair, they found something wrong with the vehicle that they had missed but it was something that I brought up to them originally. They apologized for missing it and made it right for me by only charging me for the parts, not the labor on that particular repair. I didn't request it at all, as I didn't really feel like it was a failure on their part since they did find it eventually even though it wasn't part of the estimated price. They simply wanted to make it right for me. To me, that speaks volumes to their integrity and honesty. Once the repair was finished, I came in under the new estimated cost with the added repair as they were able to find a couple savings on parts. A+ as far as I am concerned. My second repair done by them was very recently my Coolant refused to stay within my vehicle and as they found out my radiator had come apart, as is apparently quite common with Mountaineers. They provided me an estimate that seemed fair, others I know that have had replacements had paid 500+ for theirs. They performed the work in a day and I had it back the morning after. It was an exceptional job as had been done previously and my car is back to running like a champ. I would recommend Auto Technicians, they are honest, quiet reasonable turnaround times for as popular as they are, and are very easy to work with.

    I brought my vehicle to Higher Standards Automotive after hitting a pothole that caused a noise on…read morethe right front suspension. I made it clear the issue was on the right side, but they diagnosed the left strut as the problem and told me it was a safety concern. Based on their advice, I approved all repairs. Despite noting it was our only vehicle, they never contacted us when it was ready. On the drive home, the right strut (the side I had originally reported) failed, causing more damage and put my wife, children, and others at risk. When we returned, they admitted the right strut was unsafe but only offered to fix it at full cost again. The invoice also showed a deferred repair that was never mentioned to me. Other issues included: - Car left unlocked with a dead battery at pickup. - Owner admitted being "too busy to document things." - I was signed up for XM promotions without consent. - Staff gave inconsistent explanations of the damage. This experience was a financial and personal hardship. I sold my motorcycle to cover the first repair, only to have the same problem get worse. I left feeling misled, unsafe, and dismissed. Between the misdiagnosis, poor communication, and lack of accountability, I cannot recommend this shop to anyone.

So March 17th I called again and said we were moving to another place. Mechanic Said great because didn't know what was wrong. Told them van would be picked up the 24th he said it was running and would make it to the new place. Said let them know what time and they would have car running and warmed up. Turned out picked up the 28 th called them the night before. Get there van won't start can't find keys and motor hood in car not on. 5 hours later they get running. We're very rude to 78 yr lady asking why car was not done. They can not tell me anything they had done. Even though they were always either staring to work or going to work on the Van. Do Not Trust This Shop

But I…read morefelt it was worth it for anybody else who has the distinct pleasure of working with this young man. Tyler Bowen is an exceptional, fair, honest sales person. I would highly recommend working with him on any vehicle. He is also knowledgeable, kind and listens well, truly wanting to work with you, so you're just as happy as he is with the sale. I find that highly unusual in this day, especially when buying a vehicle. Unfortunately, the vehicle that I was considering sold before we made a decision. The one decision I have made, and will stand on, if I ever buy a vehicle from Feeny Chrysler, it will be with Tyler Bowen!

    UPDATE: After being told I would get a call back by 1:30 Mike called back at 6:20. No apology…read morewhatsoever. He tried to justify it by saying he "had to run the sales floor." Which raised the question of why Feeny would have a sales person intervene in a service matter. Well, it's because his service staff is apparently so fragile that interacting with me is just overwhelming. When I reminded him that I was just following the instructions given by HIS service department and that my truck could pull me into traffic he couldn't care less. He told me to take it to another dealer and I reminded him that I spoke to three within a 50 mile radius and all of them said that because Stellantis corporate had intervened they would not clean up Feeny's mess. He then told me that the alignment was "within specification" according to the service manager and when I asked why it was okay for Feeny to ignore the instructions they gave to me he said he was not there when the instructions to return if the problem persisted. Not only is that not an answer but shows what cowardly liars Feeny staff are. When I asked direct yes or no questions he refused to answer then told me to go get it aligned privately and "Chrysler would pay me back." At that point I knew he was patronizing me and just looking for a way to get off the phone. Needless to say Mike got the verbal berating he deserved. I am still in contact with Stellantis corporate and will be seeking legal counsel. Bob Feeny, you should be ASHAMED. UPDATE: The factory over tightened the front end components on my 2024 Gladiator. After a week in service and a replaced tie-rod I was advised to drive it until it reached over five thousand miles to see if the new parts would "settle in." Was told to reach out to the service department if it was still pulling to the left and it still is as you read this. Because Feeny is still butt hurt from my reviews on both Yelp and Google they refuse to fix the issue. I have reached out to three other Jeep dealerships and all of them have told me the same thing: It's Feeny's problem and they want nothing to do with it. I have also spoken to Stellantis customer service who told me that Feeny cannot refuse services covered under warranty. After speaking to the service manager Nate, I was forwarded to Mike who I'll assume is the GM. Mike accused me of being rude to Nate which is a flat out lie. Never once was I ever rude to him and actually told him I felt bad that he was forced to contact me about something he just became aware of. I was also accused of being mean to Lance, which is also false. If you read my previous reviews you'll see I pointed him out as the one of the few exceptions that did his job well. So because I embarrassed Feeny and Quality Truck Accessories (which Feeny owns) with the truth they have no problem leaving me in a dangerous situation where my vehicle can pull me into oncoming traffic. You should also note that their one star reviews outweigh their positive reviews. So it's not just me. I guess because they are located in one of the wealthier cities in mid Michigan they're used to people just accepting their absurd overpricing and labor rates, as well as having to argue to arrange for a loaner, which by their own admission from their transportation specialist is a constant fight between sales and service. Simply put, they don't want to add another loaner to the fleet because it'd cost them more, so it's easier to just keep people waiting and their own staff fighting amongst themselves. The work I need done is covered under warranty, and that's a good thing. I can't imagine what they'd attempt to charge if it wasn't.

    I had a tech come out to fill a small chip. They did tell me ahead of time, without seeing the chip…read moreand while they were still on the phone with me, that it was still going to be visible and there is chance more damage would happen. However, my husband had a really great experience a few months back so I told them to go ahead and fill my chip. Twenty five minutes into the repair, the tech called me back out to tell me that they cracked my windshield once they started the fill. They told me that it was still safe to drive. The crack is horizontal from one end to the other and then goes vertical up in the middle of my line of sight if I am in the driver seat. They said sorry, they told me it could happen. They said they would contact the company but never told me how they would reach back out. They gave me the managers card and left. She was hardly apologetic. My husband called the manager, as I was too upset and it will possibly cost US $800 because I am requesting an OEM windshield and not one that is their standard windshield. I do NOT trust that they will get this in correctly and calibrated for all the sensors after seeing the service today. If I could, they would get 0 stars.
