I bought 4 new tires from the Mt Pleasant store for my 2015 chevy tahoe. Dropped it off the night before and asked to get call when completed. Never got a call. Went to pick it up, guy was on his phone. Had to say hey, anyone here? Before i got any service. Went out to the truck, tire almost flat. Went back in, told the guy hey the tire is almost flat. He acted like i was just arriving. I said i was just in here 1 minute ago. After going through my phone numbet, address, he finally said we will look at it. Bad valve. 20 minutes later i got my truck back. Also, i got a quote on replacement of my lower ball joints, which are under warrenty, but the labor was over 800.00 with a alignment. Ball joints were under 50.00 apiece. I guess I'll be going elsewhere for that. read more

I just purchased $1200 in new tires for my vehicle and was sent away with my low tire pressure light on and my sensors showing low PSI (red on my dash)....not impressed. Was told it would "level out" as I drove and the lights would go off. I drove home- 40 minutes away, and the lights were still on. My husband had to put air in my NEW tires when I got home. Tires? Yes. But WATCH OUT! These guys are so good at Up Selling unneeded services and parts, mostly to women..... The big Up Sale is shocks and struts, but Front End alignments are way up there too...... Without me knowing my Mother-in-law took her van to Belle tire in Midland MI today. She went for a tire that was going low, all tires were new last July. At the time of new tires this van had recieved a FULL service with alignment and brake inspection along with AC repair and a thermostat. The brakes and ahocks were inspected and found fine in July, and with less than 2,000 miles since then, they are still fine. Unless you ask the "Belle Tire Experts".....they gouged her for $2,400 worth of brakes and shocks on her van today. Took complete advantage of an old lady and overcharged for what they say they did. Belle Tire should be ashamed of thier Corporate Policies. Shamefull how they upsell so much crud to the unknowing customers........ Had I known before she was pressured into this work I would have taken her van to a "Real Repair Shop" read more

My old wheels have not been made in over two decades so center caps are incredibly hard to find and they tried to charge me. not a great experience and wouldn't recommend going if you have a car you care about or is even slightly modified. read more

This is the most honest and competent auto repair shop in Midland. I've been trusting Mike the manager with my vehicles since his last job for a couple decades. He will always shoot straight and never upsell unnecessarily. They are the local kings of everything underbody. I got a Goodyear credit card and their prices on premium Goodyear tires with the discount are usually the same as a lower brand. They've helped me keep three vehicles going down the road well for way over 250,000 miles each. read more

I brought my vehicle in for an oil change, tires rotated and get my brakes fixed. I brought in my truck at 8:30 in the morning in which I had to call at 2 before they even started on it. Picked up my vehicle finally at 4:30pm to find out they only worked on the brakes without doing the oil change or rotate the tires. These guys are an absolute joke. Every time I take my vehicle in, I remember why I despise this place. The people that "help" are arrogant and treat customers like trash. If you ask anything extra they act like it's a major inconvenience. Simple enough to say this was my last visit. Avoid this place regardless of its "convenience" read more

We took our vehicle there to get check out. When we picked it up the reverse didn't work anymore. We called them to find out what they did to it and the man we talked to was rude and blamed it on us. Well the reverse was working when we dropped it off to them. And the guy said well we offer nice used vehicles you could buy from us. WTF. WHAT DO THEY DO mess up ppl vehicles on purpose so you need to buy a new one is that how they get there business.. but thanks to them we have to buy a new transmission.. I used them because they were offering the "No Contact" service, due to the coronavirus. With my existing health issues, it a severe danger for me to contract it. I placed my order online where I gave my vehicle description and chose tires that were identical to what I already had on it...same size and brand name. Once I arrived for my appointment, they insisted that I come in to the counter before they would help me...so much for the "no contact service". At that time, they informed me that, since my car was an all wheel drive, they wouldn't replace the 2 tires I requested because "we refuse to be responsible for damage to your transmission" (same size and brand, remember). They would only sell me all 4 tires or they wouldn't do anything at all. High pressure sales is one thing, but ignoring health advisement and trying to force a purchase is a criminal tactics, particularly since I had old them that one tire had a broken belt, causing dangerous driving conditions. I should have learned last time when they suddenly didn't have what was shown as "In Stock" and they pressured me into a more expensive tire. Beware these crooks. read more

Blew a tire on the high way going to pick up my sick dad from the hospital, the manager fixed our tire while we were at the hospital picking up my dad, the manager then replaced the tire in the parking lot as my sick dad sat in the car. So I've used Belle tire a lot in the past and I feel like this last time wasn't my favorite. I came in on the last day of a big sale (Saturday) with bald tires. So I wasn't surprised they did not have my size in stock. That's ok. So I ordered some. I was told they would call when in. Monday came and went so I called Tuesday afternoon. They had them but hadn't called. Fast forward to today (Wednesday) when I came in to get them put on. "When we do the alignment check do you want us to call or just fix it? It's 85$" I wish I would have been told about that beforehand. I politely declined and it wasn't spoken of again. My tires are finished right around the time they quoted which was awesome but upon getting my receipt, even though I paid on Saturday, they don't have my rebate paperwork and assure me that they'll send a check? Then I came back inside when I noticed the tire pressure light was on and I was met with a grumpy reply of "It needs to be driven". Well, I guess I could have googled it myself, yikes. I'm gonna chalk it up to one less than pleasant experience and hope for better next time. read more

I take all 4 of my vehicles there for the first rate service, always greeted me when I get there with professionalism and thank me for my continued business when leaving even if it was just a FREE ( with tire purchase) flat repair. I have even had a windshield replaced and the work was done fast and on time. These guys are the best in town. I've dealt with all the tire companies in town and they are all great, but the service you get here is unmatched. It's a busy place so know before hand that it's going to take awhile. Set up a ride before hand and try to go early. They are quick once your car is in the shop. I have been going to this location since it opened and I have always been impressed with the customer service and speed at which they get the vehicles serviced. I was in there today to get a rotation and a tire fixed and I was out in no time, but what really impressed was that I had accidentally dropped out my phone charger. A few years ago changed tires for the first time on my 2008 GMC Sierra pickup. At that time they said I needed a new set of front shocks. I said I didn't think it needed it yet. "Ok," said the attendent, "then there is no sense doing an alignment if your not gonna get shocks!" Now I went for another set of tires because the front tires were seriously worn. This dealership said the shocks [which needed changing 5 years ago] were in great shape! And the alignment was the problem! This was at the Tittabawasse Rd. location in Saginaw, Mi. Maybe buy tires from them but their mechanics are the WORST I have ever seen. Needed to have the car repaired while I was in the hospital wife took it to them to be fixed. They replaced a front wheel bearing hub assembly when the CV joint needed to be replaced. They used cheap inferior parts but charged full blown good part price. Their "repair" caused more damage to my car than it had to begin. When I got out of the hospital I went to find out why my car was not repaired correctly, was given a line of lies and incompetence. My wife requested at the time of the repair that the old part removed be put in the trunk. They did not do this. When I asked for the part they took off my car they gave me some bearing hub assembly off of another car that was not even the same make as mine, and told me it was removed off my car. The part was clearly not off my car. When I got well enough I found other problems with my car that was due to their ignorance and incompetence. I will not waste my time or money there ever again. Do yourself a favor and don't waste yours either. Midland Belle Tire is one of the worst places I have ever encountered for auto repairs. read more

I am very disappointed with the custom service I received at this location. I took my car in last week to find out what was wrong with it. They were generous enough to take me home since it was going to be a while before they could look at my car. The time frame they said they could look at my car had come and gone and it was getting to the time I needed my car back. I called and they still hadn't looked at it. After they finally figured out what was wrong with my car, there was no time that day to fix it. I made an appointment for the next week to get it fixed. I took my car in for my appointment. They tell me it's going to be about 2 hours. I come back 2 1/2 hours later and my car has not even been started. WHY?!? Isn't that the point of an appointment?? They had no explanation why it hadn't been started yet. Took my keys and left. I WILL NEVER GO BACK!! Unless you like to spend ALL day waiting for you car, DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

Went to Belle tire because I had a screeching sound and a wobble in my tire. After they inspected the tire they said that I needed a hub assembly replaced on the right front tire. I had no other issues with my car at that time. Picked up my car after paying a very hefty sum to have the hub assembly replaced to do away with the wobble which is still happening and now I have the traction light, the abs light and the power steering light coming on...took it back (since it started right after they took off every tire and inspected them and replaced the assembly on the right front) and now they tell me that it will be almost $400 to replace the back right hub assembly (which had nothing wrong with it the first time) which has the sensor in it. Needless to say I am not that stupid and I requested my car back and will find a more honest dealership to deal with. They will not ever get a recommendation from me nor will I ever go back to Belle Tire. read more

This is the WORST place to buy tires in Midland, MI. I purchased 4 new tires in 2013. I then spent the next year having air put in them every 1-2 weeks. First they said it was the rim and then the stem. At the end of the day the problem was never fixed. Now 2 years later I had to purchase new tires as the treads are gone. These tires have less than 12000 miles on them and the car was seldom driven on the highway. Terrible service, terrible products. If I could rate them zero I would. Save your time, money, and aggravation and go elsewhere. read more

I went into Belle Tire in Midland, MI to ask if my tire was still under warranty because it had a broken belt. The salesman told me that he would have to put it up on the hoist to get some information off the tire to check on the warranty. When the salesman told me that they were all done I went to the counter and asked me if I would like a three year warranty for $11. I agreed to it and then the salesman told me that the total was $55. I paid at first, but then asked why he had never mentioned a price before putting the tire on my car. I was told that since I asked about a warranty he assumed I wanted a new tire, and that he could refund the warranty, but nothing else since it was already put on the car. I would not have bought a new tire since the last one was not too bad, but I had to because I was never asked if I wanted one. I would strongly recommend you go anywhere else if you don't want surprise costs. read more
