I am writing about the park behind the building. They are really well maintained, and covered and just perfect for a Birthday party or, a BBQ party with your friends. It is very spacious, and close to the sandy volley ball court, and nice play structures. Inside Splash I have not been to in years so I really can't say much, I used to take my kids here when they were young and they loved it. They had swimming lessons here as well. My boys are grown now, but from what I recall the swim lessons were not too badly priced, and they loved going to them. When they hit the middle school ages they wanted me to drop them off at the wave pool with their friends! Ah ha! Had to throw that one in there. They loved the snack bar, and always came out with goodies. Hopefully they have healthier snacks now. But hey, it is a place for the littles to have fun. So enjoy while they are still young. read more

Hi five-year-old son got slapped by a lifeguard pushed into the pool by the head lifeguard and then it was also in the 9 foot and he was 3 foot tall he got pushed in really hard. He drowned then one is a new real lifeguard had to save them give him mouth-to-mouth CPI and he died four times came back to life and pooped himself I'll come here again my son sucks. You smell like shit. And when I walked in, there was a sock on the ground. read more

When I was a kid, a visit to the wave pool was always a good time and a special event. I wish that I still lived here so I could take my baby girl, but I'm sure I will on a future visit and after she can swim. The facility is nice, and there's lots of parking. They have a kids pool which is nice so that the littlest ones, or those uncomfortable in the big pool, can play too--the large pool gets super crowded at times. A good facility to have around to occupy kids and teens. read more

It's been since my daughter was little, Idk, about 14 years since we've been. Took our 5 yo granddaughter 2 Saturdays ago and she absolutely LOVED it. Wanted to go again on Sunday. It is very clean, busy yes but so much fun even for this grandma. I went into the large hot tub... just perfect. Played in the wave pool, the pool with the water spouting mushroom and granddaughter and grandpa went on the slide. Will definitely be going again. read more

My daughter and I go here a few times a year. I love the low prices and the hot tub. My daughter loves the slides and the wave pool. I've carted a station wagon full of girls on a hot summer afternoon over here and it was a very good way to spend the afternoon. Especially for me, who has a near allergic reaction to sunlight. For a little town like Springfield, it is a rather large indoor waterpark. I haven't been to the brand new one that opened in McMinville, but I've heard it's overpriced and not as large as Splash. I know for a fact we'll be here again in a month or two! read more

Yay for SPLASH!!!!! Our entire family of 6 had the best time ever here today! I haven't been on a water slide since I was 11 and it made me giggle. The wave pool was awesome and our baby loved the warm baby pool. The women at the counter, Betise was the sweetest and kindest lady and made the experiance the best! Ok so I work here as a lifeguard, but I'll be honest I promise. If you've got small kids, or even medium sized kids who like water they'll have a blast and if you like hanging out with your kid or a kid you know, yeah, you'll have fun too. It's got "the only indoor wave pool this side of the Mississippi" (quoted from my manager) and it's true it does. And the water slide is rather large, as is the hot tub (which is 16+ only so parents, you can have a little space from your kids for a little while.) The lap lanes are lacking, but if you want to strictly lap swim, go to Willamalane Pool. It isn't very far away (Mohawk and G I believe), more lanes, costs less and generally a more open feel. Plus it's our sister pool so I'm not losing $ if you go there instead. Pack a lunch or dinner (please clean it up a little, I've got to clean up when you leave) because the concession stand food isn't very good or healthy. There are Lots of seating and tables to watch your kids. There are always 7 Starguard trained lifeguards on stand to keep your kids safe and to enforce pool rules. :D read more

If you don't mind screaming ass kids running all around and an overwhelming smell of bleach, this is the place for you! My goddaughter had her bday party here this weekend. The staff was accomodating to our every need, there are plenty of lifeguards and 3 different pools to keep the kids happy. It's a schlepp from Eugene (almost 1/2 hr in traffic) but when it's blustery outside, it's still a balmy 85 in Splash. read more

We stopped by Splash yesterday for our friends sons' birthday party. This is a great place to take the kids for a birthday party or just to show them some fun. You have to remember, with places like this, it's all about the kids having a good time in a safe environment. There are 3 different pools for the kids to play. The main area is a wave pool. This pool gets as deep as 7 feet and generates swells in the deep end which ride out to the shallow area where they all break. For the toddlers there is a 2 ft deep swim area connected to the wave pool with a tall water toy that acts as a waterfall...at least that's what my 2 year old kept calling it haha. There's an upper level that has an area where you can swim and play "water basketball". They also have complimentary life vests and tubes to float on in the wave pool. The water is heated, but not warm...more like luke warm. They don't have a "hot tub", but they have a smaller pool by the main door that has "hot tub" temperatures and is about 2 ft deep all around. They have concessions that serve your standard concession food. I avoided it... I would absolutely take my kids here for a birthday party, the kids that were here had a great time. read more

We were visiting the area and thought it would great to check this out as my daughter loves the water. Her and my Husband had a GREAT time. They would recommend it very very much. I would only suggest better ventilation as the chlorine smell was overwhelming and the sitting area was very crowded and I had trouble finding a place to sit , since I was not playing. The toddler pool is the best hidden treasure around. They have great daily availability and many times it was either just my child and I or maybe one other person in the pool. The temp is warm, and is a great reasonable priced outing for kids on a cold rainy day. read more

2 Stars if you're looking for somewhere to exercise, 4 stars if you want a place for the kids to have a blast. So I went with 3 for the middle ground. Lap pool rules aren't always enforced, it depends on who's on the lifeguard stand. Sometimes kids are allowed in them without an adult, sometimes kids are allowed to hang on the lane dividers. The wave pool is fun for the kids. Not a big fan of slides but they have one if you or your kids like them. It doesn't seem to get too over crowded unless you stumble upon a big birthday party or a Boy Scout troop taking over the lap lanes. read more

Wow! What a cool indoor pool in Springfield. I came here to take my toddler companion for the day to the kiddie pool area which opens at 8:30am before the public pool opens at 1pm. They kiddie pool is perfect for kids who only want 8 inches - 12 inches of water to swim in. You can sit and join your kids in the water or hang out on the chairs right next to it if they are able to splash on their own. They have life jackets available for kids but I didn't see any kids needing them for this pool. They have some pool toys floating around for the kids to play with and the water is really warm. I saw some exercise classes happening in the larger pool and there is even a small-medium sized indoor waterslide which I'm sure kids and adults love. There is a snack bar but it wasn't open yet. The woman at the front desk was very helpful and nice when I told her it was my first time there. What's great is they don't charge adults to take their kids to the baby pool which is so nice since I'm just sitting there supervising. They have family changing rooms and regular bathrooms with showers. You can even get a locker for your things. I can't wait to come back and swim some laps in the pool on my own and will definitely keep this place in mind for those smokey or hot days we've been having this summer when we need an indoor activity. The parking lot is huge and I saw they have a dog park area around back but didn't check it out yet. read more

STOP at the end of the parking lot before u leave to go home, the Springfield police sit and wait for families to exit the parking lot w/o stopping.. They'll pop u for almost $300.. Great place for fun with the family. It is a public place so you have to put up with a few unsightly public actions like Lucy T. mentioned. There could be better ventilation especially on hot days when side doors could be propped open. The wave pool is great and the slide pool is too. Have been here probably 200+ times in my life. Super fun when I was a kid. Did swim lessons here and always enjoyed it. Now I have a 1 year old and she loves the kiddy pool! I wish there was something like that near me ( I live in west Eugene now). A couple things I think they need to improve are keeping the locker rooms more clean, and getting better front desk employees. Seems like every time I've gone recently the person at the front desk doesn't wanna be there and isn't very friendly . Also I think it is kind of crazy to have to pay $5 for a 1 year old to sit in some water. I would come a lot more if they had something like a 2 and under deal and it would be $2 or something like that. But the waves and tubes are really fun,slide is ok, concession choices are impressive. read more

Just had my daughters bday here and at 1st everything was good until they tried to cut the party short one hour after we paid for a 3.5 hrs party. We were forced to toss all our decorations. After talking to a rep they realized they messed up and decided to comp us the overage for free. I was not impressed with there appeasement since we had to throw away decorations in a matter of minutes. It's a fun place but not happy with the service. read more

I love the lap pool here. BUT, can somebody please explain to me WHY some lap swimmers spit in the water. I mean, come on. It's just gross and I don't get why a person would do that and I see it a lot whenever I go there. I don't get it. Why don't they do this at other lap pools, just here? Like is it called "Spit!" and not "Splash!" Hmmmm. Did your mother not teach you that you should really swallow whatever your own body produces unless you are in the bathroom? So, I'll go here in a pinch, like when my other places are closed for cleaning and maintenance. Maybe this is why the smell of chlorine is so overwhelming here, too. Because they are trying to compensate for the spitters? Maybe I should bring my camera phone and take their picture to post on a blog I could create... like a public shaming? Lol. Me and my family went here 10-16-2020 for my daughters birthday she just wanted a few friends to swim with her. She turned 5 years old. As we are there we are being watched like criminals, treated very poorly, the life guards were pointing at us laughing and talking bad about us.. this all started because my mask broke and I was still holding it over my face.. my children are 6 and under and they were yelling at my children that they needed masks telling me to put a mask on my 1 year old? I talked to the gentlemen that works at the front desk he wears glasses and has darker hair.. he was shaking so bad because of how angry he got.. then started raising his voice at me when I voiced my concerns and opinions of the life guards .. they made my children cry for yelling at them about the masks, we paid 50$ to swim for 30 mins and be treated soooo poorly.. this is not how you treat a family just trying to make their daughters birthday memorable and fun!! I'm sooo disappointed with Splashes employees! read more

They have definitely gone down hill over the 14 years I've lived here. They started out cool and quickly became a spam location for everybody to go to. People are disrespectful and will push you or kick you in the shallow areas while you just sit there and not even say sorry. They turn the wave pool off a lot more than they used to. The life guards they hire are very rude and picky and love to choose favorites. I've been constantly kicked out of the lap pool because, despite honestly trying to exercise, I've struggled while swimming and have had to relax. I have arthritis and bone disease and swimming helps me exercise without hurting. I just get fatigued a lot and thus have to rest between every lap. They always tell me to leave and then let children go in the place I was at and just jump around and enjoy themselves. I've reported this to the staff and all I got was a "well, I'm sorry for your experience. There isn't much else I can do." If you have kids, watch them while you go here. They can get pretty hurt because most people just let their kids run around wild. Watch out in the wave pool- I've had several kids left unattended grope me and grab me for help in the deep end because they can't swim and life guards won't do anything about it. Watch out for wild basketballs in the lap pool. Teens love to flirt with each other and go crazy there- they're not afraid to throw the basketballs out of the pool and smack you in the face. read more

This is a wonderful place for kids. The slide is great, the wave pool is awesome. It's a wonderful facility to get kids interested in swimming and an enormous asset for the Springfield community. However, this is not the place to go if you want to do laps or do adult exercise. They only have 4 lanes open and they close them off twice during evening hours. They don't open early enough for lap swims if you have to go to work every day. I wish they would be more accommodating about opening more lanes when the Willamalane facility is down for maintenance and I've mentioned it. They are good about refunding money if you can't get a lane, but it still turns into a long drive for nothing. My advice is to always call ahead to see if lanes are open, but don't count on them really checking. I'll sure be glad when Willamalane reopens! read more
