I would love to see it prorated to make it more economical. Or it expires one year from date of purchase. I love flat water fitness that is out there, kayaks, single or double, paddle boards, so many options and such great people! Anxious to go back and explore the trails.

They also have a bar inside that serves beer and soft drinks. We will definitely go back. Thrilled we have this gem in Wichita.

For the most part, I absolutely recommend this park. My dogs love it here! Lots of space to run…read morearound. The ONE THING that needs to be completely changed is the benches. I was there one time and a dog leaped up on to his owner's lap and then stepped down on the bench. And got his toe bean STUCK in the hole in the bench! It was about 10 minutes before we were able to get the dog out of there. It was a scary moment for us, and a painful one for the dog. My own dogs didn't know what was going on, and went to the other side of the yard and watched cautiously. They were sad that the dog was in pain. I am so glad we were able to get the dog released from the hole in the bench !!! I hope they either cut wood to cover the holes in the bench or get new benches that aren't dangerous like this to dogs with a certain sized toe pad! This dog was a doodle of some kind. A small concession stand that wasn't always open, but friendly staff and small rooms and large for off-ice activities and classwork. Some random game cabinets in one corner. Sockets for power on the second floor are mostly highly elevated onto the support pillars so hard to reach without an extension cord and a chair to step onto... so that's one downside. They also…read moresharpened them for me here at a reasonable price which was great since they had never been sharpened. I have come here or years from when I was a kid to adulthood. One thing I wish they would do is change up the direction you skate. They really need to alternate days or times or something. It gets old going the same direction, over & over & over & over. Also, it changes up the same muscles you use on your body instead of using the same ones going the same direction. Even the YMCA changes up the direction you can run on the track at all their gyms. That really is my only major complaint about the place. I am quite surprised they haven't thought about it themselves after all these years of operation.
