I have been here at least 10x and always have a blast! This is my favorite water park in/near Wichita (closely followed by the Andover Y). It is a bit expensive but worth it in my opinion. I'm not sure what some people are doing to warrant being yelled at by the lifeguard as I've never had that happen despite coming here many times. The only thing I had to do was remove my ear rings as they were metal. I was asked to do so very politely by the gal attending the slide, she even apologized for having to ask me. We also purchased some covers for my boyfriend's swim trunks online beforehand so we didn't have to buy them here (few bucks for a pack of then on Amazon). We will definitely be back! read more

Great place for family. Water isn't to deep so it is good for kids. Cheap for $24 me and my son can play all day. And a clean atmosphere.

It was a hot day and I brought my kids here and they had a blast. It was our first experience. Now the bad. The life guards are really rude and I understand if the job is stressful but you knew what you signed up for prior. If you hate the job that bad quit and find a less stressful job. read more

What happened to this place? If you want to go somewhere with never-ending rules this is the place to be! We were told we couldn't hold our breath underwater, I wasn't allowed to go down a slide without a bandaid over my nose ring... (because it might damage the slide?! Am I going face down it?!?) The diving boards and all slides have ample room but they insist only one person at a time so lines are soooo long. Just in general you can do nothing except stand in the pool. No splashing, no laughing, no swimming. 0/10 experience. You know it's bad when a public pool beats out a water park. read more

Policed by a teen for a cotton shirt while playing with my small children during "tot time" a Saturday morning session for parents with kids under 5. I was forced to get out. I get it, that's their policy. Very reasonably priced, clean water park. Oodles of kind lifeguards, everything is sparkling clean. The ticket purchase/wait in line process at opening was a bit confusing and staff weren't helpful with organization of that but this is a minor thing. Wish they had a wave pool but other than that, no complaints. read more

I had a great interaction with the person doing the tickets and a lady took a picture of me and my siblings. In between this time, the life guard one in particular was nit picking. We couldn't do the "see who can stay under the water the longest" I literally seen two teenagers on each others neck in the pool (like the chicken fight) and the girl was grinding on the boys neck. Oh that's appropriate and totally safe but the lady got onto us and we were the problem. I literally argued with her and we did it anyway because none of the other lifeguards seemed to care. Then when we first got there we went on the lazy River. We all held onto each others tubes and again went around one time and no one said anything but this one guard said we couldn't. My brother had in a shirt because again none of the other people said anything and the guy who came up told him he could and he apologized no one else said anything in which I am happy he wasn't an ass about it but then there was like 2 other people with shirts on not even swim shirts and they kept it on the rest of the time in the pool. If you're gonna have rules, enforce them for EVERYONE and not just certain families because at this point I feel like we were targeted. This place is ridiculous. read more

A place where the teenage lifeguard gestapo can be on a powertrip by yelling at adults for proper pool etiquette. Rough housing and obvious unsafe practices are understandable and those should be called upon. But if I'm not sitting in a rubber tuber in a certain manner with my legs bent at a certain angle, and my chin is not upright and the expression on my face is wrong - my 40 something year old self will have gotten chastised by whistle-happy teens as if I was a little rugrat in his terrible twos. It's an awkward feeling for sure. Oh, and you better not have anything other than fabric on your swimwear. They'll treat that like you're packing a loaded weapon. I'm surprised they don't have a metal detector to walk through before going on any of the slides. The most fun thing about the park though is getting doused by the large water bucket up above. You don't have to do anything but just sit there. As long as you're not really moving, you won't get in trouble. read more

Don't go here if you're looking for fun. Whistle-happy teenage lifeguards ruin any chance of a good time. The rules at RRR are enforced more than those of 1940's Nazi Germany. I went for a 1 hour and 45 minute period and was berated by 4 different life guards. 1. I apparently only crossed my ankles when I came out of the slide and not my legs. WHAT?! 2. I had to argue with someone half my age that the tips on my draw string were plastic and not metal. 3. I touched the wall in the lazy river with my hand when I floated into it... 4. I walked too close to the pool with my shirt on and was lectured how there's no cotton allowed near the water. I hadn't even gotten in yet. I don't even swim with a shirt on. It's one thing to have them try to pick on me as an adult because I can take it but watching the way some of them spoke to the children there was cruel. The management needs a clear overhaul. I wish I could say that this was the only time I've had a poor experience there. This place sucks. Save your money and go anywhere else. read more

Very clean water park. Probably the cleanest I've ever been to. They are crazy with the amount of rules they have there though. Kids can't wear their life jackets off their slides or diving boards. If you have metal rivets on your swim shorts you have to pay 75 cents per rivet to purchase one of their plastic rivet covers they sell at the gate. They say the metal rivets scratch their slides. You can't wear your wedding ring down the slides. You have to have a tube and stay in it to float the lazy river. Stuff like that. My kids were disappointed they couldn't do the slides. I don't trust their swimming skills completely yet so I make them wear a life jacket. They don't allow you to bring in your own food and drink. They do have a concession stand. I fed the kids before we went so we had no need to use it so I can't review. Overall though the kids had a blast. We will definitely return. Price is very reasonable to get in. read more

No fun allowed! I thought I may have had an unusually bad experience, but after reading the other reviews it seems my family wasn't the only group the staff aggressively prevented from having a good time. The kid pool was closed from an earlier poop accident, not the parks fault of course, but without a kid pool there weren't many options left for the kiddos. We didn't make it one lap around the lazy river before my uncle was kicked out for not being in a tube, and my family and my brother's were kicked out because we were holding our 2 year old children in the tubes with us. We then tried to go on the slides but our older daughters were an inch too short so they couldn't go and we both were also not allowed because our shorts have little metal rings on the pockets. Even though we're from Hawaii and my daughter has been swimming her whole life, she was also not allowed to do the small slides at the main pool or the high dive because she was an inch too short. I understand there have to be rules, but geez, let the kids have some fun! A little leniency could have made for a much better day. read more

Overly strict for a small water park. Have rules about swim attire but none of the workers are consistent. After waiting in line for 20 mins they may tell you the clasp on your swim suit isn't allowed down the slide, or sometimes its just fine. Finally had the manager okay my swim suit. Also too may rules about floating in lazy river. Its a water park... lets the kids have a little fun! read more

The Y is much friendlier. The Guards were rude and bossy. They don't allow ANY metal. Our swimming trunks have the metal hoop in the bottom of the pockets for water drainage. They rip them out with pliers if you want to go on any slide. They do not allow ear rings or wedding rings. They tried to take my wife's barbell out of her ear with pliers when it wouldn't unscrew. This place is over the top with BS!!!!! We got our money back and left!!!! We will never go back!!!! read more

My kids always enjoy going every summer. All the water activities are great! The only suggestion I'd have is better concessions. Although I did find out RRR is not affiliated with the food company, I'd think they still have a say in who sells at their location. The pizza is those horrible miniature microwave pizzas on a solar box. They should at least have a couple kiosks around the park selling bottled water or icees. If your chairs aren't near the concessions it's a bummer getting up to go there just for water, especially if the line is long and hot. You aren't allowed to bring your own cooler in so they need to make it more accessible to their customers in purchasing water. Otherwise it's a great place to take your kids to a fun filled day. read more

Wow, do they know how to suck the fun out of a day at the waterpark. You're only allowed to ride the lazy river in one specific position. My eight yr old daughter's feet accidentally slipped off the tube and her legs went into the water, she was immediately reprimanded by one of the many lifeguards watching your every move. You're not allowed to exit the lazy river on your own. You most hold up your hand and a lifeguard will escort you to the exit. The lifeguards love their whistles and the amount of whistle blowing is comical at times...it's constant. Most waterparks have very similar rules but they are way over the top here and we didn't enjoy ourselves. Our first and last time here. On a positive note it was clean. read more

I have been to many different water parks over the years, and I have never encountered a park even REMOTELY close to this one in regards to all of the silly rules. It seems like every time we turned around we were being told we could not do something (at least a dozen times), most of which were ridiculous rules I have never witnessed before at any water park. When we return to town next summer we will definitely not be going to this particular water park! read more

Had my daughters 8th birthday party there, and I will never do it again or recommend it. We had the "shelter" for one hour. However, they don't let you access it a few minutes early at all. So the first 30 minutes was spent setting up and meeting guests out front with tickets. The last 30 minutes was rushed to hurry up with cake and presents. The rules are far to strict. I understand they want people to be safe. However my friends 6 year old son was in the childs area (3ft) deep with a life vest on and the father was yelled at because he was not actually in the water with his son. Standing next to him outside of the pool was unacceptable. The mulvane pool get 5 stars compared to rock river rapids. Kids can actually play and have a good time. The life guards and management seem more interested in hanging out and talking amongst each other than watching children in the water. read more

This place could be really cool, but the amount of rules they have and how often the life guards call you out is ridiculous... I have metal ring holes on my trucks but to get on any waterslide the lifeguard proceeded to remove them with plyers which now left open holes in them... My girlfriend who has earrings was made to cover them up with bandaids before she was allowed on anything side they don't come out and every time they came off she had to walk back over to the first aid stand for more... They also have a family if ducks (more than 10) that they allow in the pools and will yell at you if you're close to where they are swimming, if they happen to all be in a spot like the rock wall area they will close it down... This makes me think of sanitation issues since the ducks are allowed to pee and poop in the pools freely...other than that if you want to just sit in a pool then this place is for you! No other water park that I've been to had this much bs to put up with... Can't wait to go back to Kansas City where there's oceans of fun which has t lot more freedom and no ducks in the way! Wanted to ask for a refund but was denied... Personally, we won't be back. read more

I hate the fact that this is the only water park in the area because I can't stand this place. It's way too small and their rules are ridiculous. They don't allow any metal on your body if you wanna get on the slides. That means no clips in your hair, no glasses, no earrings and no metal in your bathing suit. Nothing. Their excuse is that they don't want pieces to come off and damage their slides. How often does that happen? And surely with their high admission prices they can afford to patch up their slides. This is a pretty decent water park as far as size and variety of activities, it's really good for small kids, however the admission price is a bit high for what you get, and the condition of the pools leaves a little to be desired. For our group of 10 the admission was just over $100, and 2 in the group were elder grandparents who were not even swimming. They also were asking for additional donations on top of that... for what they didn't say. While sitting in the shallow end of the kiddie pool with my toddler I noticed several thin fragments of the plaster pool coating that had come off, they are thin shards of material which are quite sharp on the edges and could potentially leave a nasty slice in your foot if you stepped on one right. Also many of the spray cannons don't spray anymore, and some are rusted up to where they barely move. It generally just feels like their charging a premium but not investing much into maintenance. read more

Everything is overpriced. I went alone with my children 7 and 3 we couldn't even ride the lazy because my 7 year old was one inch too short to ride in a tube alone and it was against the rules for my 3 year old to ride on my lap so we could all share a tube I've been to several water parks that allowed my 3 year old to ride on my lap plus they also wouldn't allow me to ride the lazy river because I was wearing a shirt they thought "felt" like cotton (the shirt didn't have a tag to know for sure whether or not it was actually cotton) I was really put off at the fact that the lifeguard asked to look at the tag at my shirt and when I informed her it did not have a tag she said she needed to feel my shirt. It was just a really weird situation. For what I paid to get my kids into the park I was not happy they couldn't at least ride the lazy river. We then went to the concession stand where the prices again were outrageous one of my kids wanted a slice of pizza it was a pizza out of the freezer that was still soggy from being cooked in the microwave my other child got nachos the cheese had a weird taste they then both later got snow cones that tasted like nothing but ice the rules prohibit bringing in outside food read more
