I told them he can be afraid of the blow dryer and they put something on him to cover up his ears and helped him from being afraid of the noise so they could get him dry. They really cared about my dog and his fear of the blow drying sounds, and put him at ease. He was happy when I picked him up also. It's hard to rate a vet LOCATION per se, and a lot easier to rate the actual vets. I have to leave 5 stars because I've had terrible, terrible vets in my dog's 8 year life and none of them were at transit animal hospital. I first came here when my dog was very sick. Dr. Reed took the time to explain to me each symptom he recognized and possible diagnoses he was going to test for. It ended up being Lyme disease which came back in the blood work VERY quickly. Dr. Reed went over every single thing in his blood work and test results to explain my dog was actually very healthy despite the Lyme disease. He's gone back several times since. Check ups. New medications for arthritis. Bloat surgery check up. Stitches for a cut. I've never waited more than 15 minutes. I do HAVE to say, a vet tech didn't explain to me my dog's cut would still be fleshy and a little bloody after staples were removed and it really freaked me out. One other vet was a little inattentive. That being said, I'll only be asking for Dr. Reed in the future.

(Also had complete physical with cat rescue a month before that). I expected to pay for just booster shot, but after appointment was completed they charged me an additional $70 for another physical. I have never had this happen with booster shots in the past. I was informed they have to do another physical before the give the booster to make sure cat is ok for booster. It should have been told to me up front when making the booster appointment that it was more then that. Very disappointed in the money grab.

One of their previous groomers left there for feeling they were inappropriate with customers and charges me way less for a much better job. She treats me well too.

Whenever I bring her to be groomed, I tell them not to shave her ears, as they are beautiful. I found out just today, however, that they have not been grooming her above the neck because of my request about her ears, with the result being a difference in hair length across the back of her head. I didn't know this until today. They told my daughter, who went in to get her. I am furious about this. I'm giving them two stars because of this. They could have clipped her head between her ears. On top of this I was charged 78.00 for the grooming and teeth brushing for a 15 pound dog.

Louise, asked about previous experiences and behavior as she should whilst proclaiming repeatedly of 40+ years of service...fine. Appointment day, Louise didn't say hello or introduce herself but instead insulted our pet in front of my child? Maintaining some composure, Louise continued to question and condescend and laughing at our expense? Should of terminated this meeting but proceeded anyway. Upon leaving, asked a fellow employee about Louise's reputation...stated ok, left. Called almost three hours in to check on a pet that can be traumatized to the process if exposed too long like any owners should. Louise was insulted and questioned why she was being checked on as well as another round of berating on the phone. Louise, obviously flabbergasted that anyone would question her stated " we have a lot to talk about," "you know what, instead come get your pet I don't want to service this animal." Also stated " the more you mommie your pet at home the harder it is for me..." along with "it's just a dog..." and finally my favorite" if I had it my way I would kick your pet to the curb!!" Now infuriated, immediately went to pickup pet and review the "we have a lot to talk about scenario" Result... Louise pretending to talk on phone, threw leash at us on floor and closed office door. No review of any issues, no rebuttal of her tough bs talk on the phone, just a coward hiding. This individual is not a professional and should not have interaction with people much less animals!!! I would never recommend this incompetent to anyone anywhere!!!! If this one review saves one family and another pet exposure to this scum...it has done its job!!!!!
