To avoid any of the previous made up charges, I took ten laundered pieces to be pressed(10 for $23.99). At pick-up, I was charged $28. When I asked what the extra charge was, I was greeted by mumbled excuses(3), rage, and told that if I don't like the prices, don't come back. The continued lack of any semblance of customer service, unprofessionalism, poor business acumen, and random price add-ones make the convenience( I can walk there) of location a mute point. I've had my share of disappointments in dealing with service businesses, but the continued poor service level of this place, the questionable pricing, and the comfort they have with unprofessionalism is woeful. read more

I was told my dry cleaning would be ready at 4:00 Tuesday. I dropped my 5 shirts and pants off Friday afternoon but because of the holiday my clothes were ready Monday after 4:00 I came at 4:15 and a gentleman was unloading the truck, a woman inside told me give them 15 minutes and could I wait outside. Wait outside. I guess it was Covid related. The clothes were clean and the price was $3.00 more than what's on the sign. We'll change the sign that's integrity. read more

After taking 6 items for dry cleaning, and receiving 6 items back with damage, I returned (on the same day) to seek resolution and was greeted with the worst Customer Service experience EVER! One new shirt (worn once) was returned with picks and holes. One shirt was returned with color bleeding. One shirt was returned stretched at the hem. A pair of pants was returned wrinkled and spotted. And a blouse was shrunken. The representative at the counter was immediately confrontational, denied accountability, and threw a telephone across the counter instructing me to talk directly with the "presser." She argued that she couldn't have possibly caused the damage because she personally handled the clothes. She proceeded to demonstrate how she handled my clothes by angrily balling my shirt around a coat hanger. When I commented that a hanger, office product (staple), or similar could have caused the picks and holes, she alleged that I had called her a liar and told me I had to leave because she had a 40 minute drive home and it was Friday. Bottom line, I left with nothing more than fury and 6 ruined articles of clothing. I can only hope that the local store owner is as upset about the service as I am. Waste of time and money. I took several items some with alterations, cleaned, and pressed. I was absolutely unhappy with the alterations. The alterations are not professionally done. Linen pants and shirt were not pressed well at all. So many wrinkles. Jeans not heavy starched and pressed as I had ask, and paid for. I spent over $300 with my spring and summer dry cleaning within a month, and was totally disappointed. I highly recommend David Cleaners which we usually use, but since this was on my way home I decided to try them. This Dry Cleaners is awful. They don't take pride in their work, and you clothing no matter how expensive you clothes are. They will tell you "oh you have nice clothes too!" I'll take the time to drive a few more minutes from now on to go to Davids. Davids takes pride in your clothing, and what you ask for it what you get. We've be customers of Davids for over 15 years. I guess it best to stick with what you know sometimes. I wouldn't recommend Spivey cleaners at all period point blank. You would think by it being in the Lake Spivey area it would be top notch, but not at all. Terrible! I wish I could give it minus stars. read more

Be ready to spend some extra dollars when doing business here. Laundered shirts are advertised for $1.50, but since mine were large there is a $1.00 per shirt extra charge. Linen items are an extra 50 cents. Large shirts county as two items. The lady at the counter is like a robot no personality or customer service skills. If I could give a 0 rating I would but you don't have that option on this website. So this cleaners advertise 10 pieces cleaned for $19.99, but when you go pick up your items it cost $20. So I went to this cleaners two times my first experience was good. My second experience was the problem. I had to add one more piece the little lady at the counter told me that she told me to bring it back the next day which she did not. So when I was picking up my cleaning I brought the one piece she told me it was too late to add it. And I did not get a refund for my one piece that she owes me. Then I had put in two pair of pants to be hemmed but they only hemmed one and I demanded my $8 back because she had already rang up on my card. I don't plan ever to go back to this cleaners again they are a rip-off and they do not do good work. They're located in Stockbridge across from Ingles Grocery next to BP on Walt Stephens Road. WARNING, WARNING. PLEASE, DO NOT USE THIS DRY CLEANERS!!! First off, my wonderful, professional courteous, always accommodating, dry cleaners of many years retired. I drive pass this dry cleaners (Spivey Dry Cleaners) on my way to see my daughter, nice community so I thought it would be safe to use them (Spivey Cleaners) I took three pairs of white pants, and a BRAND NEW, NEVER WORN, WHITE VIBRANT SILK RALPH LAUREN SHIRT. The shirt was a little wrinkled, just needed to be steamed out. Two pairs of the pants were returned with spots on them. The blouse came back looking years old, worn, and dull, there's even a some type stain on one of the sleeves. Also, it smelled of chemicals. The lady working behind the counter have zero customer service experience. She didn't apologize for the inferior work, nor did she acknowledge it. She called out a phone number of the manager or owner. He was completely uncooperative. After going back and forth with him in regards to replacing my blouse, he actually accused me of making this up. In the end, he said this was not his responsibility. This is how he treats the very people who utilizes his business. Seems he want our cash, and throws us back trash. HIS NAME IS KAL, PHONE: 678-467-1906.
