Was on a mission to try Spitz, since I never been to a mediteranean place before. I was a little surprised, the place was empty! Only two other groups. Maybe about seven people total, with staff. Service was very fast, theres a little advert to explain what all the exotic food terms mean, and the cashier lady was nice and efficient, I was able to ask her opinions on what to get. Theres silly little decorations everywhere and I like the outdoor porch. Bathrooms were pristine, musics kinda loud, but only in there for some reason. Ok, hows the food? REally really good! The street wrap was delicious, just perfectly fresh and crisp with the cucumbers, but still hardy and savory with the meat. The sweet potato fries are crispy and pair perfect with the garlic aioli. The gyro was tasty, and the baklava was amazing. The only reason I can't give it five stars, is that the price is pretty steep. Its about 13$ a meal, but an extra 5$ to upgrade to a combo. The portions are generous but for about 50$ for two meals (plus a few add ons) it kinda stings. I might get it again though. Honestly disappointed. Spitz was my family's go to restaurant, until today. Irene the manager is so sweet and does a lot so when me and my family (husband and two kids) got there it was a little busy and we were in no rush, the manager (Irene) was moving around a lot but what made the experience bad was our food runner, I don't quite remember her name but it was like Emily or something close to that. She had a bad attitude! And i'm not one to cause a seen but I pulled the manager to the side to let her know and she told us that it's been a long day and to just try to enjoy our time, and that she would talk to her. Well me and my family were finishing up our food and my daughter noticed emily staring at us with a disgusted expression and rolled her eyes. Of course we didn't say anything to not bother the manager again but Honestly i've never had worse treatment, and not to mention emily was around 16-17 so you would think she would have more manners and respect especially when working in the food service business. Good is pretty solid most of the time Though it's slow. The service has never been very good and not the friendliest. read more

I had the wings and they were great crispy. Had two very tasty sauces that are served on the side.
