Such a hidden gem! I do agree with other reviewers, a bit pricey. But I was at work and I only have 30 minutes for lunch. Decided to uber eats spitz with limited time and they arrived exactly within 30 minutes. I got the thin fries with the street cart Donnor wrap. Absolutely delicious and filling. I wasn't crazy about the fries but the sauce it comes with is exceptional. Food is fresh and well worth it.

I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon for lunch. I was a little overwhelmed with the menu and what to order but I decided on the remix bowl and the peach sangria. I was welcomed as soon as I entered and the staff was friendly. The restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. My food was brought out very quickly. I truly enjoyed the flavors of the bowl, I just wasn't a huge fan of the crispy chickpeas. I'll leave those off when I go back. The peach sangria was really refreshing. I definitely recommend trying this place out!

Good for a quick lunch. Service was a little slow considering there was no one there except us at that time ordering. Wraps were good but a little dry. The fries were really good though! Enjoyed the outdoor seating with dog friendly patio!!

Ordered 2 Berliner bowls this evening and received the wrong bowls. Meat was dry and the bowls didn't have much in them. Rice was dry almost unable to eat because it was so hard. Ordered within an hour of closing, hoping that the quality doesn't decrease just because of the time of day.

We had dinner there on 2/27/2025. My wife had the Gyro combo with the quinoa salad on the side. The gyro was very tasty, vegetables were fresh. Meat was tender. Fries were a little soggy but nonetheless the gyro was delicious. The quinoa salad was delicious. The quinoa salad was flavorful, had many different textures, delicious. I had the Street Car Doner wrap with beef/lamb. It was delicious, the lavish chips were crispy, the meat was tender, vegetables were fresh. I would have liked a little more tzatziki sauce on it but nonetheless I enjoyed it. I also had a side salad, it was tasty, vegetables were fresh. The dressing is served on the side, which is fine. I would have liked a little more dressing. The staff was friendly. They played great music, 80s rock. I found the decor very pleasant, kind of modern. This was our first time there and we will be back. I wish they had some grape leaves on the menu.

There's garage and street parking, it was a colorful cool hipster spot located in the village at Leesburg. I ordered a bowl combination with all their meats. My meal was a 6.5/10 I wasn't in love with it. My man got a gyro it was LOADED and had tons of fries inside and on the side. We both agreed that they have better gyros than bowls. We also got the falafel and that was meh. The baklava desert was a little different and good. The service was good, the food didn't take too long to come out. It also wasn't super crowded. Overall decent spot, but definitely not the best in the area.

Confusion when ordering a side of falafel. I thought qty 1 meant 3 falafel in that 1 order. Nope! You will literally get 1 falafel ball.

We tried this place via DoorDash tonight. My husband ordered the street cart Doner wrap combo meal with thin cut fries. He said it was the BEST gyro he's ever tasted in his 50+ years of life!! It's humorous to me because we met working together at a gyro fast food restaurant. I took advantage of the BOGO gyro deal. I also added a side order of the falafel with hummus. Ordering the side of Falafel was a bit confusing. The photo provided shows 3 falafel with a small cup of hummus. When I went to order they had the option to choose 1, 2, or 3 falafel. I thought qty 1 meant 3 falafel so that's what I chose. You will literally get 1 falafel ball if you select 1. . This is definitely a new favorite spot for us!!

My gf and I finally decided to eat here and it was a good decision. We love good Mediterranean food and I'd say you get that here. We ordered a falafel and hummus, a gyro combo, and a Berliner bowl. The falafel was mid compared to Places like Falafel and Greek Unique. The Berliner bowl was really good. It was a bed of rice with meat, veggies, sauces and spreads. I'd say my favorite was the gyro. It was loaded! And it came with fries in it. I'd come back for a gyro again. The service was minimal interaction. You walk in and order at the counter. They then bring it out once it's done. The ambiance is what's cool about this place. It feels like a little piece of Miami but in Leesburg. They have cool custom artwork on the walls. They have vinyls lining the bathroom walls. They play great music. You also can get a free baklava if you leave a review on Google. The baklava is pretty good!

Excellent staff, excellent service, excellent food! I came in on a Saturday night, which may not be the best time if you're on a time crunch. They were packed! They had a lot of people also order for takeaways. When the weather gets nicer, they would, no doubt, be even busier. There are several tables and chairs inside as well as an outside dining area. I think they would need a bigger space for the warmer weather when everyone usually goes out to eat! With a packed place during busy hours, it can get quite noisy, especially if there are children there as well. I haven't been when it's not quite as packed, so will update when I get a chance to experience at a less busy time. For diners with children, there is an area right by the kitchen, I think, where children can draw on the walls. For big groups of diners, they have some games for while you wait for your food or just to entertain in general. Now to the food: Mediterranean cuisine is one of my favorite cuisines, and Spitz flippin delivered on the flavors!!!! I ordered a Remix Bowl Combo with chicken and rice and a side of sweet potato waffle fries. The flavors were perfect! The portion, I think, is a healthy portion, but I would've liked a bigger portion. the waffle fries were perfectly seasoned and crunchy. I would definitely be coming back. this is the Mediterranean spot I've been waiting for.

A grand opening indeed, let's start with the basics! The space is very uniquely designed, very colorful with neon lights and amazing wall paint mixed with some graffiti and unique sculptures. The space is fairly average and with the outdoor space can accommodate a big crowd on a warm day but will struggle during the colder ones. They had plenty board games to play which you can play while you waited or ate which is a great addition. Even for a busy opening night the service in my opinion was great and would be one of the reasons I would go back. Which leads me to one more reason I would go back and that is the FOOD! It has something a lot of places miss out on and that's flavor! Spitz doesn't lack that, though there might be a little bit too much salt they still didn't miss on flavor. The wings and sauces were crisp and seasoned well. The sauces two fun flavor that didn't lack in being watered down like plenty of other sauces. I can't wait to go back and try more of their food items! Spitz is shaping up to be a good spot and a good addition to the area, and I hope the quality keeps up and doesn't digress! Don't miss out on a new flavorful spot!

Parking is at a plaza that's relatively spaced out, expect to walk briefly unless you're a lucky parker. If you're someone who carries an affinity towards certain levels of 'quality to taste' - like at a restaurant where you're waiting 10-25+ Mins to get served, don't come here. This place is a street , style, open late, with just the right amount of response times and quality to make it work. The interior is Mediterranean and colorful, the bathrooms are musically-tuned. The furniture matches their design aspirations and they've done a good job of maximizing on space. 5*!

Tasty wraps, although you have to be careful when you bite because the paper wrap was tucked inside all of our wraps, so first bite we had to spit out paper even though we unwrapped the outside. Happened on two separate visits. Also they don't automatically include a cup if you order a combo togo, so you have to ask them for a cup before you leave. The falafel wrap was on the dry side. The chicken wraps are much better. Love the decor inside and the records and covers in the restrooms. The music speaks to my Gen X soul. read more

We stopped in to try out the new place, and I would say that we were a bit disappointed. I was thinking it was a sit-down restaurant, but it felt like a walk in McDonalds, but with a different ethnic food. I can't say it was bad, but for me, it was a one and done experience. I really didn't care enough about the experience to even waste a second to snap a photo. Moving on to all there is out there to try! read more

LOVE this place! My wife and I have eaten here 3 times now, and it's a new local favorite for me. It's an order-at-the-counter and have a seat type of place. They give you a flag to put on your table and they bring your food to your table when it is ready. Love the gyro. Love the Mediterranean Wrap. Love the falafel. Love the sweet potato waffle fries with garlic aioli. Love the sangria (3 different flavors of sangria). It's all fantastically delicious. I took my first bite of Mediterranean Wrap today and said to myself, "Self, that is HEAVENLY!" The staff is very friendly and eager to please. I like the music they play, but I realize that's a personal preference. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food and service. We'll be back! read more

What a cool Mediterranean vibey place. My wife, Susie Q, and I went for dinner and enjoyed the ambiance and cool decor. I was pleasantly surprised! Loved it! Being Greek and eating gyros all the time (my parents owned a Greek restaurant). The sauce inside was different, but that's what I liked most! It wasn't the traditional tzatziki sauce. The fries inside were crispy and flavorful. The vibes inside were nice. And the little bar up front is very cute and inviting. Can't really recommend it after our experience here. We got a Feta wrap w/ chicken and a bowl w/ chicken. The bowl was about a third of the way full. The wrap was just okay. Neither had a single piece of white meat in it, not sure if this is normal for this operation. The service was friendly enough and the place was clean with a nice section of outdoor seating. CAVA is cheaper and the better bang for your buck as far as portions go. read more

The food is super fresh and very tasty. Had the beef and lamb gyro. If you like Greek gyros do your taste buds a favor and kick it up with this Mediterranean version. Just the perfect amount of heat. The service is amazing. Counter ordering is easy. Super clean place and the server was so attentive in cleaning up for us as we finished our meal. Cool vibe with great music and fun wall designs. I shared my review with the restaurant yesterday and gave them a 5 * review because the food was good. All I asked was if there are multiple wraps ordered, could you please label them. That is it. The Doner Salad that I ordered was missing the side vinaigrette, I mean the salad is $20 so I would love to get what I ordered. Today, again, giving them another chance, ordered TWO of The Doner Salad's and today the lemon herb tahini was missing for both and none of the wraps were labeled. I tried to keep this between the establishment and myself but to no avail. We have been loyal customers since day one. Is this how you treat your day 1 customers? We visited on a Saturday afternoon for lunch. They have a great menu with options for carnivores and vegetarians. The menu includes cocktails and beers as well. The ambience is colorful and casual, with outdoor seating optional as well. They offer board games near each table too. I had the falafel gyro, which was really tasty. The gyros are stuffed with your protein choice and fries. My bf got the lamb/beef gyro, which is flavorful as well. Definitely give this place a try! read more

Just discovered this place. Very cute, lively decor. Order at the counter and food comes out quickly. I loved the Medi bowl and hubby liked the Doner wrap. Big portions! Our first visit on a Friday night. Our party of three ordered two gyro, a remix bowl, and large fries. The gyro was good and on par with various other gyro we've eaten. I ordered the bowl which I had to doctor up because many of the ingredients were ones that I did not want. My bowl ended up with about 50% less ingredients yet the price was still the same. I wish they offered a "build your own" option like other similar restaurants that I love. The fries were good but the portion size seemed much less than a large. My main issue with our visit was the wait. It took FORTY-FIVE (45!!!) minutes to get our food. We kept looking at the timestamp on our receipt to make sure we weren't just hangry. It literally took that long. The long wait was not worth it. The patio was nice but the tables were dirty. read more

Uh-mazing experience! Food delish. Music = fire. I even asked what station (Hipster) and app (Moodl). Wow! Stocked bar. I had a frozen margarita....i drank half and walked out feeling incredible! Run don't walk. And remind them to get happy inducing straws! Black straws in a place this VIBRANT is a downer. Lol Prices were on point! And they have games you can play at your table. A place to go the food was awesome with full burst of flavor and the sauces were phenomenal. The baklava bar- don't forget to get it. The portions are generous and worth of every penny. Spitz doesn't serve your father's falafel. Leave that to the other guys. Today I ordered the Spitz Euro, a pita that took a plunge in a deep fryer, shamelessly smuggling fries and smothered in delicious. Loved it. But kudos all around for just being a fresh concept. The decor was kaleidoscope of pinks, greens, blues, and yellows, all while old-school hip-hop (think Rakim, Krs-one) carried over the speakers. Friendly staff. Good food. Couldn't find a trash can but that's ok. So while the sign says "Spitz," no body does. Too good to waste this kind of food that way. read more

Went today 6/8. Food was decent. Cute spot. The guy that took the order was great and even asked if I wanted recommendations. I'd say the cook didn't pay much attention to the order as items were missing from my wrap and the cinnamon chips were not packaged with the icing in the photo. I ordered Togo and did not notice the missing items until I got home. read more

The food here is very good. The people who work here are also great they really seem to care about the quality of the food they serve. My wife and I have eaten here at least a half a dozen times since they opened. My wife is a vegan and I am not so we don't often agree on places to eat but Spitz looks like it's going to be our go to restaurant for the near future. read more

Some of the text on recent social media posts also has hallmarks of AI generation. There are many free coloring pages available online, and it could be really cool to see a collaboration with a local artist for merch designs instead. Free Range Cafe is a place I've always really enjoyed, and their food is still delicious. It's located in the downtown Bethesda area around the corner from Bethesda Row which is within walking distance from the Bethesda Metro Station so it's very easy to get to with public transportation. They market themselves as a modern take on Mediterranean street food, but if you're craving true Mediterranean flavor, I'd look elsewhere. I added chicken to my salad and it lacked seasoning. The wrap was just okay -- nothing memorable. The fries were the best part of the meal, which isn't saying much because it's pretty hard to mess those up. One thing that really surprised me: they charge $0.75 just to taste-test a sauce. Most places will give you a tiny sample of the sauce that comes on your dish, but not here.
