I vaguely remember going to Toys R Us stores when they were more prominent, and while this location has the brand name slapped on the front door, it doesn't feel the same as other toy stores. The store is dark but you can still find things (at least I could with my vision). Good variety of toys and other products to browse. They even sell merch with the giraffe mascot - I bought a plushie keychain one. The store was organized into different sections and displays during my visits. prices are reasonable. One thing that surprised me was the selection of calendars--more than I would expect in a toy store--but perhaps that's part of the current trends? I once bought a book for a baby shower that was on the display for buy one and get one. I didn't notice until later on the receipt it wasn't rung up for that so I returned the product - they accepted the return. The employees didn't engage much while I was shopping and mainly stood at the register. Weirdly enough, I have an old Toys R Us gift card from back in the day I wanted to use. When I tried to use it there, the staff member told they couldn't accept it because this location wasn't considered a "real" Toys R Us store and may not be be there long. I guess this store operates as more of a pop-up? Overall, I'll continue to shop here because they do carry a decent selection of products, but it's definitely an unusual setup. I wouldn't spend that much time browsing in here and this isn't a go-to spot I would recommend to shop at. Admittedly, I do love telling people about it for pure nostalgia.

It's a nice sized location and has a wide variety of items. Now as a mom that spent countless hours in the original Toys R Us I was slightly disappointed. This location looks like a pop up. Like it's temporary. And it gives more of a FYI, Books a Million vibe. I was able to find my nephew a gift. And when I'm in the market for baby or kid toys I will return.

Is short for Books-A-Million and this store has plenty of books, stationary, puzzles and other gifty items. Preferring to listen to audio books, I'm not one for physical books but this store had some lovely displays and vignettes that sucked me in. Although not as large as Barnes & Noble there is still a very healthy selection of well organized merchandise. There was something very nostalgic and cozy about browsing in this store. I didn't need much, so with my basket full of what I needed, I headed to the electronics department. I wanted to purchase a an Apple TV. As I got to the department, I went about trying to locate where this would be located. I eventually found it only to discover that it was a locked up tight and I would need to find an associate to open the case. The Target employee must have sensed the need to need assistance, and vanished. With nothing better to do, I stood there and just waited. I figured he would be back eventually, but he did not come back. Where the item was was right next to the register area in electronics, I was hoping that he would be back very soon, but no dice. I watched as other shoppers went about their shopping and as other staffers went about their day. I only received help after an associate must of been going on their break walked by. They asked if I needed anything and I told them I just anted to make sure they had the item and if I could buy it. Luckily they had the key to get into the case, but they did not have the item. With that problem solved, I made my way to the register to pay. Used the self checkout, and was out the door.

I had to pay an extra $40 for a 2 1/2 hour party (standard parties are 2 hrs), and we had to provide our own food, tableware, etc. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because I feel like we were rushed at the end of the party and I had to keep telling my guests to leave. Otherwise, it's a much cheaper alternative to some of the other kids birthday venues.
