    Paint, batting, witch hat

I have been a fan of this spot for some time. It used to be on S. Charles St. What I like about this spot is it resource to sale used art and craft items like paint, fabric, buttons and so on. No need to throw out those unused wedding or birthday items. Today's haul I was able to find a mini pin cushion, bracelet, batting, paint and a Halloween witch hat all under $10. Let's do our part by recycling and reusing!

I just started sewing this last month and I am SO happy I found this place. Went in after work and spent over an hour perusing the store. The staff were kind and friendly. The prices are incredible and the store has A LOT to pick from. A sustainable arts&craft reuse store is GENIUS! This is a must go for everyone!

Loved this place: the concept, the people running it and the level of organization. Small but mighty. Definitely worth a stop in!

I really like the idea of the store. However, there isn't a lot of the craft materialls that I use and there used to be a lot more.

The staff was really friendly. It's a wife and husband that operate the store. I did not buy anything nor really look at the prices, but I'm sure it's probably really comparable. It's so cute and the retails space is nice, it brought me joy to walk in and I would for sure some shop if I needed materials!

I felt like kid in a candy store when you are surrounded by wall to wall of fabric and sewing accessories. There is a variety of fabric for any sewing project from quilts to fashion attire. I did not see anyone at first, but could hear voices which sounded like the party was upstairs. Someone did appear to ask if I needed help and I told her I browsing and more in the area for again, doughnuts. LOL! She told me to go get my doughnuts before they close since it was after 2pm. I left the fabric I picked out on the counter until my return. When I returned, I was able to settle on several pieces as well as a pattern from Cashmerette pattern collection. I was advised they offer courses and even meet and greets. I definitely will share this spot with my sew sisters and brothers.

There is room out on the porch & inside at a big maker space table for people to work on projects. There is a classroom area in the rear & I understand a class schedule is coming. My Fiber Arts group went together on a "field trip" to explore. They have all kinds of fabrics, kits, & curated bundles of fat quarters for quilting. Everything is so well thought out, presented, and displayed. I know a bunch of my friends who are going to want to move in & "live" there. It is around in the rear of a shopping center, so as you turn in from Benfield Rd, go all the way back past the string if restaurants and stores and around the rear corner. There is plenty of parking. Best of all, it is women-owned and not a big box store

Visit if you can!

First, Google listed the opening time as 10 a.m., but the store did not open until 11. We had driven from Baltimore to get ahead of bad weather, tried calling multiple times, and found the voicemail full. There's no website to confirm hours, so we were left guessing whether to wait. Once inside, we spent nearly two hours selecting eight fabrics for multiple projects. Many fabrics were not priced, and the single employee cutting fabric had to repeatedly walk to the front of the store to ask the owner for pricing or answers to basic questions, which made the process extremely slow. The final issue was a large-print fabric that had deep slashes running several yards into the roll, along with visible black marks. I asked that the damaged portion be cut off or that cutting begin from the other end of the roll. The owner refused and told me that if I didn't like it, I didn't have to buy it, stating multiple times that they are a "for profit store." I have over 50 years of experience buying fabric and have never been expected to pay for clearly damaged yardage. We ultimately walked out without purchasing anything, leaving eight rolls at the cutting table--well over $1,000 in sales lost. It's disappointing to see how much this store has changed. It was once staffed by knowledgeable, helpful people who wanted to assist customers. I won't be returning.
