And it's a go-to stop for gift purchasing (we've purchased board books from here to send to friends who've had babies!). They sell so many treasures! Of course they sell books, but they also sell vinyl records, local art (custom dog paintings caught our eye!!!), games, and more. On our recent visit, we enjoyed looking through their many board games. Need to add a new one to our collection soon. Having learned that lesson we called ahead of time and asked what they were and weren't accepting. During this time many GW are at capacity for certain items and in need of others. Staff was professional and friendly over the phone and told me which items they could accept. So when I arrived - I let the person know that I had called ahead to confirm the items. This made the process easy and seamless. The only slight negative is that they didn't ask if I wanted a receipt for tax purposes. Not sure why but Salvation Army always asks. Other than than this I think people will have a good donation experience as long as they verify ahead of time. This also cuts down on GW parking lots becoming a dumping ground of unacceptable items as I've seen in the past
