As someone too who has used this little Practice for over 20 years, I have been happy most of the time there, sometimes having to go to Lynton House (it's main Practice) in Woking for treatment too. I agree with continuity with Vets, can be difficult and some handle issues different to others. The Practice has seen lot's of Nurse changes too, and I too agree that some of them on the 'phone are a bit abrupt or not particularly animal friendly. Yes it's small and can get a bit manic in there, I only have cats, and have sometimes been in the little waiting room with cats in a box, and just dogs around, which can be a bit scary for them so I go outside and wait. It makes them more nervous than before so that isn't ideal. Overall as a Veterinary Practice I do rate it, I've only ever had cats in my time there, and all of them have had different issues along the way and been treated well, which at the end of the day is all that matters. Perhaps sometimes the Practice would like to look at Feedback and see where it could make changes on the arrangements in it's waiting area and perhaps some staff training? I was in there recently just picking up some flea treatments, new faces which is fine, I'm being served, 'phone rings, I'm left waiting to pay why the Nurse working attends to the 'phone call which ok, has to be answered, but could say, Do you mind waiting? or Sorry about the delay there was nothing, and on the 'phone someone was asking her for the cost of a consultation, and she couldn't confirm, said it was around. surely that should be a key answer for someone? Doesn't sound very professional and perhaps if I was a new client, would be put off by a vague answer. read more
