Each show has a different menu, so it is hard to rate the food. I have had Biscuit Head Brunch, Sweet Monkey Catering, and even their own catering from "Divine's Kitchen" which is a southern meal of BBQ! I have never been disappointed, there is always enough food to go around and the people serving the food are always helpful and kind! I will continue to go to Asheville Drag Brunch events, plus they are all fundraisers for local charities. I love following their page and going to events that fundraise for things I support- a show, food, and donation is well worth the 25 dollars you pay!

There's a large room with newer machines and retro ones, all set up to play, no quarters needed. Another room has video games. They have the option to order food right to your seat which is nice if you don't want to miss any of the game - although it is minor league ball so you're not missing too much. Wedding Day: 11.16.2019 Honestly, I never expected to be…read moreoverly impressed with a DJ at my Wedding. I knew I didn't want the cheesy guys who sound like they are on a radio station, and I also knew I didn't want the other extreme -- someone who never speaks and forgets that they are actually the host of the evening while running a spotify list in the background. What I didn't expect was someone who guests would still be talking about nearly 3 months later. Jakub is professional yet friendly, and will take as much or as little of the reigns as you would like. When the bridal party hadn't yet finished their processional, he quickly began to reply their song so that there was no awkward silence -- as if it was planned that way. He also humored my Gilmore Girls inner super-fan and agreed to play the theme song as my husband and I walked down the aisle - SO FUN. Jakub ensured the bridal party (who he had to corral!) was lining up correctly before entering the reception and was informing them of what to do/where to go/etc. He had printed out the entire schedule I had filled in for him (an amazing google doc that he made which helps you think of EVERY SINGLE MOMENT and sometimes things I didn't even think about making a decision for, such as the song to play while we cut our dessert). He was extremely accommodating to our unique requests -- allowing a family friend to play guitar during cocktail hour, playing old Jazz CDs that were performed by my Great Uncle during dinner, having another family friend play and sing at the live piano before the blessing, and then handled (with so much class and grace!) several last minute surprise requests that evening including a serenade to me by all of my dad and husband's fraternity brothers followed by a family member singing live while Jakub played the instrumental. No matter what we threw at him, he was game for all of it and did it with a smile! He felt like an extension of our family. We gave him dozens of songs that we love (and a few we didn't) to help him build an idea for what to play during the dance party and boy, does he know how to read a room! At the beginning of the night as guests are finding their groove and confidence, there were a few songs that weren't quite landing with them (that I had requested, lol). Jakub would immediately recognize this and seamlessly transition into a new song keeping the dance floor packed. One guest was requesting a line dance song, and Jakub had noticed that many line dances were on my "do not play" list so before just going for it, he asked my permission which I appreciated so much. He graciously agreed to extend our reception by 30 minutes because none of us wanted the celebration to end. I've never seen a dance floor so full for an entire reception (it even included all of the older crowd...literally no one was going home!!). The value for what you get with Jakub and his team is off the charts. If I can make one suggestion it would be to book him now before he's gone because you don't want to have your Wedding (or other special event) without Bright Lights Entertainment! Oh, and whatever you do, make sure to add on the light package. TOTALLY WORTH IT! Thanks for being amazing, Jakub. We can't wait to work with you on all future family events!!

We had such an amazing time visiting Mt Gilead Farm! We messaged them through Facebook to arrange a…read moretime to go out to the farm and visit. My husband and I visited with our two young kids and had so much fun. We got to visit with the animals, learn about the property, and help feed the baby goats! We also got to sample some cheese made from goat milk. This is a working farm so be prepared for normal animal mess and to have to give many many pets to the dogs. Boots are recommended!
