She was very professional, organized, and absolutely the best at minor details. During the reception there was nothing we had to think about except having a wonderful time. She took the stress and pressure of the wedding day off our hands and made it seem effortless, Michelle even went out of her way to deliver the reception items to our hotel following the ceremony, which saved us a lot of time and energy the next day. Not part of her job but just an example of how she goes out of her way to ensure customer satisfaction. Highly recommend :)

Wedding Day: 11.16.2019 Honestly, I never expected to be…read moreoverly impressed with a DJ at my Wedding. I knew I didn't want the cheesy guys who sound like they are on a radio station, and I also knew I didn't want the other extreme -- someone who never speaks and forgets that they are actually the host of the evening while running a spotify list in the background. What I didn't expect was someone who guests would still be talking about nearly 3 months later. Jakub is professional yet friendly, and will take as much or as little of the reigns as you would like. When the bridal party hadn't yet finished their processional, he quickly began to reply their song so that there was no awkward silence -- as if it was planned that way. He also humored my Gilmore Girls inner super-fan and agreed to play the theme song as my husband and I walked down the aisle - SO FUN. Jakub ensured the bridal party (who he had to corral!) was lining up correctly before entering the reception and was informing them of what to do/where to go/etc. He had printed out the entire schedule I had filled in for him (an amazing google doc that he made which helps you think of EVERY SINGLE MOMENT and sometimes things I didn't even think about making a decision for, such as the song to play while we cut our dessert). He was extremely accommodating to our unique requests -- allowing a family friend to play guitar during cocktail hour, playing old Jazz CDs that were performed by my Great Uncle during dinner, having another family friend play and sing at the live piano before the blessing, and then handled (with so much class and grace!) several last minute surprise requests that evening including a serenade to me by all of my dad and husband's fraternity brothers followed by a family member singing live while Jakub played the instrumental. No matter what we threw at him, he was game for all of it and did it with a smile! He felt like an extension of our family. We gave him dozens of songs that we love (and a few we didn't) to help him build an idea for what to play during the dance party and boy, does he know how to read a room! At the beginning of the night as guests are finding their groove and confidence, there were a few songs that weren't quite landing with them (that I had requested, lol). Jakub would immediately recognize this and seamlessly transition into a new song keeping the dance floor packed. One guest was requesting a line dance song, and Jakub had noticed that many line dances were on my "do not play" list so before just going for it, he asked my permission which I appreciated so much. He graciously agreed to extend our reception by 30 minutes because none of us wanted the celebration to end. I've never seen a dance floor so full for an entire reception (it even included all of the older crowd...literally no one was going home!!). The value for what you get with Jakub and his team is off the charts. If I can make one suggestion it would be to book him now before he's gone because you don't want to have your Wedding (or other special event) without Bright Lights Entertainment! Oh, and whatever you do, make sure to add on the light package. TOTALLY WORTH IT! Thanks for being amazing, Jakub. We can't wait to work with you on all future family events!!

My wife and I hired Benjamin T. and Kat Warner for DJ entertainment, Live Acoustic Music, Live Band…read moreEntertainment, as well for Lighting and Entertainment Experiences for our wedding at Brown Mountain Beach Resort in Lenoir, N.C. Ben and Kat are a penultimate example of how a married couple can far exceed the conventions of atypical business partnerships. Every single experience we had with B&K was a perfect example of professionalism and dedication to customer service. From the first time we reached out to our final goodbyes, Ben and Kat surpassed every expectation and delivered undoubtedly the best wedding experience for our guests and ourselves that we could have possibly imagined. From their well-designed website, attentively managed customer service portal, helpful and informative surveys, and personal communications, to the facilitation of custom musical experiences and flawless execution of their advertised services. My wife and I are in awe of Ben and Kat's ability to manage their own business while seamlessly leading other vendors, without a misstep, in a magnificently arranged ceremony performance, master of ceremonies experience, and coordination of live music and lighting. Ben and Kat's belief that "every wedding should be as unique as you are," is not just a slogan or buzzwords meant to attract unwitting brides to be. B&K are the real deal, 100% authentic and genuine people, driven with the desire to make your special day or event a bespoke and memorable experience. A review cannot describe how important a piece to our wedding's success that was Ben and Kat's services. Our vendor relationship with B&K was undoubtedly the most pleasant of dealings my wife and I had throughout the planning of our wedding, even drawing inspiration from them for my wife and I's own small business. One cannot gush and praise enough. Thank you, Ben and Kat, you made our dreams a reality. Without hesitation, my wife and I recommend Ben and Kat for any event, wedding or elopement services which you may need. Ben and Kat will forever remain unrivaled and unmatched in our minds and hearts. An unprecedented experience was had by all. Bravo to this super duo!

Ben Warner failed to render agreed upon services and refused to refund any monies from deposit…read more On January 2019, we contracted services with a deposit for $627 for a June 2020 wedding. We had close communications during May 2020 to ensure Ben T Warner would be able to work the wedding with all of the uncertainties of the virus and executive orders of North Carolina. It appeared that they were noncommittal in April & May to the extent of recommending to us that we get another company to do the event. Then 3 days later they canceled which allowed us only 18 days to find alternate entertainment. NC actually had exceptions for weddings and funerals that allowed us to proceed. First email after they canceled on us, they did not respond. I sent another email and they responded that they would not refund any portion of our deposit 5 days later.
