The staff were very knowledgeable and provided 1:1 attention (In many places I've been to, one physiotherapist is taking care of two or three patients at the same time). They were able to adjust the exercises to my specific needs. While some exercise machines were for general fitness (and you could find them in any gym) several of the machines were specialized for treating back and neck pain. After finishing the course with physiotherapists, I was able to sign up for their "Maintenance Program", which allowed me to come in, once a week, to use their machines by myself. I always felt better after a session. Sadly, they closed their Santa Ana branch and I am no longer able to go there. read more

SpineZone just emailed me for a follow up survey---can't believe it's been 5 years since I completed a program there for a severe flare up of sciatic pain. When I started there, I thought i'd have to soon use a walker to get around. SpineZone was located on Main Street then and it took me quite a while, painfully, slowly hobbling from my car to the facility. Bewteen the therapy sessions and the at-home exercises, I improved so much!!! Now if I encounter a bit of a flare up, I pull out the exercise instructions (I know... I should be doing regularly!!) that they gave me and soon I'm back to "normal" THANK YOU SPINEZONE--and please know that I recommend them whenever I see someone in need of their expertise!!!! read more

This is my second stint with spine zone. First stint was 3 years ago for sciatica, and they were wonderful, getting me better by the third visit. This time, I have lower and mid upper back strain coupled with hip pain. After 4 visits, my back pains were at a pain level 3 after consistently being at an 8 or higher. My hip pain, it was almost as if they threw that in for loyalty rewards. But that dissipated to a level 2. Spine Zone in Santa Ana is still legit. I highly recommend a visit there if you are going through any pain that won't go away. I don't even look for my pain meds as often. Another perk was when I visited during week 5 complaining of tennis elbow, Victor gave me advice on how to treat it and a band to strengthen the muscles associated with tennis elbow. The staff at SpineZone are very compassionate and caring. I am on a fairly long, at least for me, recovery from an incident with my lower back and hip. Prior to the injury I was very active. I was genuinely worried I would never be able to be active again. I could barely walk. My standing posture was twisted to the side and my head posture was very pronounced forward. Everyone at the Spine Zone in Orange/Santa Ana, CA were friendly, polite and engaged.​ I like that the therapists stay with you, unlike other PT places I've been where the therapist is helping a few clients simultaneously. My only concern was that the Air Conditioning was 101 in the building, which made it unpleasant during the hottest part of the summer. I am so fortunate that my doctor prescribed me Spine Zone for my pain due to sciatica. I went to the Santa Ana branch. My pain levels have come down drastically and am able to perform my daily routine much much better. From the first day until the day I finished my sessions, I was assisted in the best possible way. Victor was amazing in his approach, the set of exercises that were given to me were perfectly custom made and they have done a major change to me, which I will continue now and in future too. The moment I informed about my inability to do a particular exercise, I could find that it was replaced by another exercise the very next day. Individual attention was always given. My SpineZone experience was excellent. I had cervical radiculopathy issues with pain in my arm, chest and back. For two months I hadn't slept much and was lucky if I got 3 hours sleep before awaking with horrible pain. After getting referred to SpineZone by my GP and a neurologist, I met with my therapist for the initial appointment. She could tell I was in some pain and hadn't slept much the night before. After getting a thorough evaluation, we started immediately on some exercises. That same night I got 5 hours sleep before awaking and by the third night after I started my home exercises, I finally got a full nights sleep. It was such a relief. I could tell the exercises were working. Within 2 weeks the pain had totally subsided and I was sleeping normally again, with the help of new posture and stretching/strengthening exercises. I just finished the on site program yesterday after 6 weeks, although I will be continuing with my home program and also plan on continuing on site for their maintenance plan. I have to give super credit to Sana Kauser who was my therapist for most of the 6 weeks at the Escondido location. read more

I was skeptical when my insurance company referred me for physical therapy for my back pain. I thought PT is for people recovering from injuries and have to learn to walk again or something. In any case, I did see results after the first session. The staff here are top notch. They greeted me by name and I've only been there a few times. The PT staff listen to your pain and ask a lot of questions. They aren't rushed to get their next appointment and really take time to work with you. I had an amazing experience at SpineZone. All the PT and PTAs were so nice and professional. They were very knowledgeable and were able to show me different techniques to strengthen my back and core muscles. They took it week by week. They encouraged me to stay on top of my exercises and would check in to see how I was feeling every time I came in. If there was a new pain or area of weakness we would take care of that on top of the usual routine. I really like that they don't just leave you hanging after your sessions are over. I love SpineZone! When i first went there, I could barely walk in because of the pain in my legs and I was bent over from my lower spine issues. I am very grateful to Spine Zone and my coach Sarah. The 6-week online video program has been a true blessing. Really great to have the online lessons since we were in our "COVID stay at home". Sarah monitored my sessions and adjusted the exercises when I needed them to fit my progress. My issue is lower back pain from a pinched nerve. Not only did the exercises relieve my pain but the the days of repetition cemented proper posture and how I do my day to day chores to avoid further damage to my back - invaluable!!!
