Live with it or go through an invasive costly surgical procedure. Also plan upon months of therapy and recovery. Having been the victim of a botched surgical procedure in my youth, I'm really thorough about checking into who my surgeon is going to be and the facility in which the surgery is going to take place. After checking out everything I made an appointment with Dr.Ross Wodicka and couldn't have been more delighted. He's not only a great doctor but real good down to earth guy who carefully explains all your options and matters involving the procedure. Matter of fact, because of my age being 74, he wasn't cut happy and really wanted me to know what I was going to be put through in order to recover and whether I thought it would be worth it. Well, because I was unable to lift my martini glass to my lips (that's practically the definition of very serious), of course it was worth it. I might also add that Dr. Wodicka is a sports doctor specialist with a fellowship in a well-recognized sports orthopedic institute. So if one can trust the multimillion dollar shoulders and knees of professional athletes to him, I think I can trust mine to him too. Anyway my surgery went just fine. Matter of fact incredibly fine. I don't even have a surgical scar, never needed any pain meds and now near 8 months later 90% recovered and doing exceptionally well.

Kind, empathetic, patient and helpful. Dr. Hesse was fantastic! She did an ultrasound on my knee and I had X-rays done. She took out fluid from my knee, gave me a shot for pain and referred me for an MRI stat. Once i had my MRI, I came back to her. She told me I had a severe stress fracture in my femur a torn meniscus and inflammation on my patella. She told me I needed to stay off my feet for 4-6 weeks. So I could no longer work in my field as a Registered Behavior Therapist. She wrote me a note for work and prescribed me two different pain relievers (My request.) She was very kind and thorough with me. She didn't rush me out of the room. Very smart, empathetic and caring. Her nurse (I forgot her name) (sorry) was also very caring, kind and helpful.

Before Dr. Shenassa repaired my broken wrist, it would have been a freaken miracle. I tripped in my backyard and fell with my arms extended, so I broke my wrist. Dr. Shenassa assessed my hand and scheduled me for a repair surgery. It took about a minute to realize he is smart. After our time together, I left the appointment knowing he was worthy of my trust. The surgical center is the same one that my orthopedic surgeon uses, so the anesthesiologists knew me and it was a successful and uneventful surgery. Dr. Shenassa called me that night to make sure I was doing ok. His office team met with me and assessed me until I was recovered from the surgery and on my way to building strength. I broke my wrist 1/6/2025. I was able to use my hand a couple of months after the surgery. It took about a year for me to recover my maximum wrist strength. Now, 18 months after I broke my wrist, every time I use it, I think of my surgeon and how he helped me keep going. When I show my wrist scar to hospital and orthopedic professionals, they are amazed at the work.

They got me right in for my first visit, and took all of my insurance info over the phone so I was set to go the day of my appointment. From my first consultation, I felt I was in the best hands (pun intended). The team was incredibly thorough in explaining my diagnosis and the procedure, answering all my questions, and addressing the concerns I had about life after surgery. The day of the surgery went smoothly. The surgical team at the center was excellent. Everyone introduced themselves and I felt confident knowing I was being cared for by some of the best in the field. After surgery they provided detailed instructions for recovery and were always available for follow-up questions. My recovery was a piece of cake and I was back to work in no time. Overall, if you're looking for the best for hand surgery, look no further than the hand team at Sports Medicine Associates. Their professionalism, compassion, and expertise are unparalleled. Highly recommend!!!

So no wonder the front of house staff treats people coming in the door terribly when that's how they are treated internally.
