Spinal Performance - Dr. J, Aundrea & the whole staff are the BEST! - Chiropractors Near Me - Tustin, California

This is exactly how chiropractic care should be. From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcome and part of their team. I really appreciate that they start with an X-ray before making any adjustments it shows how much they care about doing things the right way. On top of that, the way they explain the process and how they're helping your spine improve is truly impressive. Out of all the places I've been, this one stands out the most. Highly recommend. read more

I came to Dr. J at Spinal Performance after struggling with neck and lower back pain and not getting lasting relief anywhere else. During my first visit, Dr. J and his team spent time going over my history, answering questions, and clearly explaining what was causing my pain and how treatment would help over time, which immediately built a lot of trust. The adjustments themselves have been precise and targeted, never rushed. After just a few visits, I noticed improvements in my pain level and range of motion, and now I can exercise with far less discomfort than before. I also appreciate that Dr. J gives practical advice on stretching, strengthening, and posture so I'm not relying only on adjustments. The entire staff is friendly, organized, and respectful of my time.. If you're in the OC area and need a chiropractor who combines skill, clear communication, and genuine care, I highly recommend Dr. J and the team at Spinal Performance. read more

First visit no adjustment no nothing but a $261 to be told you need spinal adjustments. Then they try to sell you 20k packages. WTF! To the doctor who's going to read this my suggestion to use if you're gonna try to sell $20,000 adjustment package I would recommend you do it so you could really explain and find detail of what's involved in this and then show the person the value of your treatment by given them an adjust read more

I've been seeing Dr J for a bit over a year now. He's done wonders for my back, which was in terrible shape when I started seeing him. Though my back is beyond repair, the maintenance I get from him has helped me immensely with pain, posture, and even my metabolism. I've seen other chiropractors prior to being linked with Doctor J and his care has helped me the most. Also, the staff is very friendly, professional and welcoming. Extremely clean office too. Spinal Performance left a great impression on me since day one of treatment. I felt so welcomed from the first moment that I walked into their office. They greeted me with a smile and had refreshments while I waited, even though I never had to wait long at all. They are very prompt on their appointments. It felt amazing coming to their office, especially when all the staff knew you on a first name basis. Dr. J is an amazing chiropractor! I came to him when I got into a car accident and had neck and back pain. Dr. J is very knowledgeable about what he does and he treats his patients with professionalism and care. After a couple of session a week, the pain I had was more bearable. Simply put, Dr. J is really good at what he does. I definitely recommend him. He is my go-to chiropractor. He should be yours too. I came to visit Dr. J since I was dealing with chronic shoulder and neck discomfort for years. I was getting massages periodically to help alleviate it but wanted to try to tackle the root cause. My husband and I started coming here 2 yrs ago. Office staff is very welcoming and friendly. Dr. J always leaves us feeling refreshed and relaxed with each adjustment. Highly recommend. read more

Ok, let's be honest...when you read reviews you want the actual truth. So here we go. Let me give you a bit of background about my situation so that you have a better understanding of my state of mind at the time. I have been suffering from chronic tension migraines for several years. By the time I visited Spinal Performance I had tried therapy with two different chiropractors, physical therapy, two rounds of Cortizone shots on my back, acupuncture, cupping and even MRIs for abnormalities. Nothing worked and nothing abnormal was seen in the MRIs. I accepted my new norm of migraines. So, when I arrived at The office I was thinking: Sure Dr. J, you are hyping up this treatment, but I'll probably just be adding it to my "Didn't work" list. With that said, let's discuss my honest observation. At first I wondered: What fountain are they drinking from? They can't always be in such a good mood. It must be because I'm a new patient....But this is actually them all the time. Every single team member has great customer service! They get along great which makes the office welcoming and fun. As for the treatment...it worked! It just took a few weeks before I noticed. Yes I've had bruising from the graphting (scraping), but it's been worth it. The horrible knots I had around my shoulder blades are 90% gone. Now it's on to my shoulders and neck. It's been a slow process for me (everyone is different), but I can tell it's working. Dr. J is super nice, patient and professional. His explanations are detailed and easy to understand. Perla, Perla, Perla...this girl has a mean elbow and it's awesome! She is hilarious, professional and fun to talk to. I genuinely look forward to working with her each time. Nazeem is super nice and professional. Now, if they recommend the "knob" accept it, get through it, and love it afterwards. It will be your frenemy. Nazzem will definitely rock it! I'm not his fan while he's using the knob on me, but I want to secretly hug him afterwards. Ashely is super sweet, professional and will welcome you every single time you walk into the office. Which is great because at other businesses the front desk has been the complete opposite. As for Aundrea and the new person at the front desk, I haven't interacted much with either of them. So far they have been professional. Let's get the negatives out of the way. There is only one non-positive thing I can say. At my initial visit I was not asked if it was okay to increase my Care Credit limit in order to purchase one of their treatment packages. The new limit was submitted and approved before being consulted. I wasn't too thrilled about that. But that's it...only one thing. So, other than that I have nothing else to say. Customer service has been great! I will continue with treatments at this office. read more

I am your everyday professional working long hours in front of a computer and sitting in an office chair for the majority of my day. As a result, my back and my upper neck area are a significant area of concern and strain throughout the day. I made an appointment with Spinal Performance based on a really high recommendation from a friend. Dr. J and his staff did not disappoint! They are professional and extremely knowledgable. Dr. J was able to provide immediate relief from several adjustments. I really like how they utilize their massage/mobility specialist, Naz, prior to the adjustments to first loosen you up and identify some of the more complex areas of concern, like knots under your scapula. They explained thoroughly how muscles work in junction with one another and then provided suggestions to maintain my relief going forward. I will definitely continue to use their services. I drive all the way from LA to specifically see Dr. J because they are worth it! read more

DR. J and staff are the best the way he explain everything to me I have seen other Chiropractor they just focus were the pain is and that's it him on the other hand gets to the bottom or of it. This review is bit overdue. I've been to two other sports recovery places and this chiropractor is my favorite. Not only is their customer service absolutely pristine, but their actual hands on services are amazing. I love how everyone from the front desk to the doctor have an great attitude and take the time to build rapport with you. That's so important to me that I'm not treated like just another number. It's also awesome that they have options in what tools you need to recover. My favorite are the theragun and graston (scraping) technique and then getting adjusted. It's the icing on the cake and I walk out feeling relaxed and ready to enjoy my day. I can't emphasize how much I genuinely enjoy coming here. Take the time to check out yourself! read more

It's simple. Quality one on one care. I come from the medical field and I know when I'm given the attention and therapy I need. I've invested a lot of money into my bad shoulder in the past with other outpatient facilities (a physical therapist and a different chiropractor). Unfortunately I couldn't get any positive results. Time and money down drain. I came across the Spinal Performances Instagram page and watched dozens of the videos. I knew this place was different. I was not getting this kind of therapy with my past chiro and PT. Made my appointment, came in and Dr. J evaluated me. He diagnosed me with chronic shoulder impingement syndrome. We got to work right off the bat. Doc and Jake did their magic on me every single appointment. Very meticulous. Got educated on preventive care to make sure I wasn't doing anything outside of therapy that would hinder this healing process. Shoulder started feeling great! I'm at a point right now where Doc cleared me for weight lifting involving the shoulder, and let me tell you, this shoulder hasn't felt this great in years. I'm able to perform my activities of daily living without pain, something I thought I'd never be able to experience going forward. Spinal Performances has given me peace of mind. So I drive from Pasadena to New Port to see Dr. J. I mean that says a lot. You would think quality one on one care would be easier to come by. It wasn't for me until I found this place. The time and money is worth the investment. I highly recommend Spinal Performances for your chiropractic needs. They're definitely a game changer. read more

I have dealt with low back issues in and off for about 15 years. My years of weightlifting and athletics caught up with me. It would flare up then go away and I'd put off seriously addressing it. Recently it started becoming more of a chronic issue that was causing quality of life issues. I decided to do something about it and seek professional treatment. I chose Spinal Performance over the several referrals my primary care physician offered because I felt that the interest Dr. J shows in cutting edge treatment and an understanding of functionality and athletic performance and wanting to help educate his clients on what is happening with their body. From my first visit I felt very comfortable with Dr J's assessment of my condition and what treatment would get me where I want to be. I have been receiving treatment now for about two months and I am so encouraged with my progress. Where before I was struggling to stand for more than 10 minutes without serious discomfort, I have been recently enjoying doing things that before I would dread because I'd be concerned how I'd feel after. I am feeling so much better and am so appreciative of the entire Spinal Performance team that shows genuine interest in my progress and wellbeing. For anyone that has physical issues that they have been reluctant to address. I highly recommend letting Dr J and his team help you get back to your best again. read more

I have nothing but great things to say about Spinal Performance and the amazing team they are!! I've been seeing Dr. J for about 2 years when he was running a one man show at his old office. He was great then and doing amazing things now. He's hired a team of excellent staff who are friendly, caring, and well trained. I go to Dr. J for maintenance purposes as well as when I have any type of injury or pain. I went into his office one time when I didn't know him that well, literally crying in pain bc of a back/neck spasm. He was very caring and made sure I got back to 100% over the course of a few visits. We're able to joke about it now bc that's not a side of me he likes to see, but I always know that he will take care of me at my worst. As I've been going to Dr. J over the last few years, I see his passion for helping not just elite athletes, but everyone. You won't be just another patient when you go to Spinal Performance. The staff genuinely cares about you and how you're doing. Dr. J and his team want to make sure you walk out feeling 10x better than when you came in and I can attest that is what happens every time I go there. read more

I had made a new patient appointment and provided my insurance information on the phone and was told I would get a call back to tell me if it was covered and how much. Today was my appointment so I called to check on my insurance since no one at the office had followed up. I was told they can't tell me if it is covered or not because it's a HIPAA violation.. which it's not. I work in healthcare and let her now that it actually isn't. I was then told that I was correct and it was justtheir policy not to say wether or not it is covered and she could walk me through it once I came for my appointment. Total scam and misinformation. This is a terrible way to do business and isn't honest or upfront to patients. Will go elsewhere, somewhere where it is clear and honest what they provide. read more
