Instead, I was left waiting alone in a room past my scheduled time with no update, no check-in, nothing. No one came to let me know if the interviewer was running behind or if there was any change of plans. I ended up having to leave and follow up myself. What stood out most was how invisible I felt the entire time I was there. I noticed I only got acknowledged when I spoke up first -- otherwise, staff walked past without a word. As a Black woman, I can't help but notice these things, because they add up over time. I'm not saying this was intentional, but it left me with a strong impression about the level of care and attention given to guests (or candidates) who aren't proactively advocating for themselves. I really wanted this to go differently. Cooper's Hawk has a great reputation, and I was rooting for a good experience -- both as a potential employee and future customer. Hopefully this feedback helps them look at how guests and candidates are treated when they're not in the room to see it.

My husband and I had such a wonderful time! Marcy taught us that process and oven temps are everything for macarons to come out perfect. There were a variety of colors and flavors to choose from and each of us walked away with our own dozen macarons to enjoy at home. It was the best two hours we could have spent yesterday evening and we can't wait to sign up for more of her classes!

I was unable to find what I wanted and a gentleman in a white shirt, who I am assuming may be a manager, asked if I needed help. He was able to direct me to the product I needed. I so enjoy getting a written description of the winery, types of grapes used, tasting notes, and things to pair with the wine. I just went back today to get three more bottles of a french sparkling wine (that was in the wine club offering) that was so good I had to have more. Of course, while I was there I had to purchase some gorgeous bakery items. Every time I go, I ask for recommendations and I have been so happy with all the wines I have tried. What I like best is that I am trying new grape varieties, wines from regions I'm not familiar with, and wines from boutique vineyards.

It was the last night for live music & im glad we were able to experience it because it will not be back till September due to the weather! My friend got the Egg Sammy (scrambled egg and cheese) with Noble sourdough. It looked really good, and she gobbled it right up. Overall it was a good meal, and I would definitely be back. When I got to the register, the lady rang me up and said it was going to be 2199 each. I let her know that the sign posted where these are listed on the shelf was 1999 in two different places. On the shelf and also in a different area in a refrigerated case. Both said $19.99. The lady at the register said the manager could override one of them, but not both of the boxes that I was going to purchase. I said that didn't make sense because it wasn't the right price that was posted. They said that's what it is and I said well it's Miss marked and they said no that's for green tea. There was no green tea. Nowhere. And by the way, the box for this is green and it is tea. It didn't make any sense and they literally argued with me and would not give me the two dollar difference to purchase the items. They got huge attitude and was completely rude with me. I was very calm and just stated that it didn't seem right that they didn't have anything listed for $21.99 for any type of Surfside. I let them know that the only price is listed were $19.99 for all of the Surfside beverages. And there were no Surfside beverages for $21.99. I ended up leaving without purchasing most of what I was there to buy because of the terrible attitude of the "supervisor" Ladon LaShawn or some name like that. It's awful to be treated so disrespectfully and not have them honor the price that they're listing for items. By the way, that's actually called false advertising. I will never go back here again strictly because of being treated so rudely when they're the ones that made a mistake in listing the prices for their items. Blaming a customer for your mistake and causing them to pay six dollars more because I was going to buy three boxes, is just bad business. Now they lost all of that money over six stupid dollars.
