This laundry is a rip off. I was in here tonight and my clothes were stuck in a defective washer that did not continue thru the cycles. The attendant did eventually stop the machine so that I could get my wet unfinished clothes out. They would not refund my money and there was no doubt that the machine is defective. I have my laundry done at SpinCycle because I am 85 years old and trekking back and forth to the laundry room where I live (which is quite a long way) is not a possibility. I drop it off and it is washed, dried, and folded, and I pick it up the next day. The service is excellent, their prices are reasonable, and the facility is clean. The one annoying thing across the board for any laundromat is if you're going to have a credit card option available for the washers, then you should do that for the dryers(they have "insert coin/card" but only takes coins). Pain in the butt for people who typically don't carry change or cash and either have to go to an ATM or spend 1 extra dollar for that friggin' "convenience fee" at the place to get cash out from your card. This is my go-to place when I have a sh$t ton of laundry to do or big bulky items because by far they have the best value and the most amount of extra large machines. They take cards which is a huge time saver and a major plus for me. Yes the parking lot is a bit small and yes it can be a bit crowded during peak hours but this is a safe and clean place with lots of space to do your laundry. I have been taking my clothes here for wash and fold service at least 4 or 5 times. They do a good job cleaning the clothes. 2 other shops I went to began to over dry my clothes and they would curl up which was annoying. As far as cleaning clothes and folding them I would give them a 5 star rating. The reason I give them a 3 star rating is due to customer service issues. The first time I came I waited about thirty minutes for service after ringing the bell. I had to call the number on their website to get help. I usually always wait 10-15 minutes. What prompted me to write this review was the angry and aggressive attitude by one of the workers who was a Hispanic female. I came to the door at 8:33. The website says they close at 10 p.m. I work 2 hours away. After a bite to eat I picked up my bags and walked to the door expecting to drop them off. There was a couple waiting outside. She reminded them that the last was was at 8:30, but let them in. I asked if I could simply leave my clothes there for the Wash and fold service. Her response " No! The place closes at 8:30 Sir! She points to the sign on the door and closes it. Her tone was very rude and aggressive. I was very tired and I asked in a very meek tone. I was not being rude or pushy in any way. I would have been very ok with dropping my clothes off and a wash being started anytime the Next day. The day was today November 12th. Incident happened at 8.33 p.m. This was not friendly service as this business advertises. I can perfectly understand being assertive and aggressive if I acted that way, but I simply asked a question in a polite manner. The response I got was the worst I have experienced in over 5 years as a patron of any business. I worked retail for years and helped thousands of customers. Some were very rude. I even had a customer spit at my feet. Still, I held my composure. Very disappointing! I hope this was not the owner. I can't imagine an owner reacting this way if it was. I stopped off today to drop off some wash and fold. It was 3 in the afternoon and they had mopped over half the building and conveniently blocked access to the drop off area. I can see mopping up a spill, but over half the building? It looked the the employee did it on purpose in order to keep people from dropping off laundry and accessing the bathroom. The floor was actually mostly dry but the employee screamed at me to keep out because it was wet. I won't be going back. read more

I use to come here about once a month because they have big machines. Today is the last time I come here, I'd rather drive to Lodi than with the bullshit I had to deal with today. I had 3 big loads going and had been in an out checking on them.i come back in to get change to run the dryer and this little smartassed attendant gives me a hard time because she didnt didnt think I had any laundry in and was just trying to use the change machine. Parking: The tiny parking lot is inadequate for the amount of traffic the plaza receives. Limited parking resulted in me rescheduling a few times. COVID-19 Mandated Mask Policy: Not all customers and staff members abided by the mandated COVID-19 Mask Policy. Seeing staff members without face masks was disappointing and unprofessional. To combat this issue, I wore a mask myself and stayed isolated by waiting outside until my loads were complete. Though unconventional, it didn't bother me. Inside: Inside the laundromat, customers have access to numerous washer and dryer machines. There are two seating areas. The seating area near the dryers has TV monitors for viewing pleasure. There is a massage chair that customers may use (after providing payment). I noted that all the machines were clean during my business here. The upkeep of this business--inside and out--was finely executed. The best attribute of this laundromat is its ability to accept different forms of payment to wash clothes. However, the cost for dryers is limited to quarters. The versatility made transactions convenient. I didn't realize until months later that this business would sometimes overcharge my cards. Regretfully, I never brought it to their attention. Customer service: Aside from overcharging my card, the amount of disrespect I received from the staff was unbelievable! Staff members were unapproachable and incredibly rude. The first time I came here, I had questions that required assistance. For example: Where can I find the quarter machine? How much for services? Are there any additional services offered? May I get the key to the restroom? I couldn't locate a staff member. Staff members don't wear uniforms nor nametags, which made my search more difficult. Incidents where staff members were not present proved to be confusing (and suspicious). I was not alone in my sentiments as other customers questioned this. When I found an associate, she kept looking at me (up and down) as if she judged my appearance. Her facial expressions showed irritableness. Her responses were short and rude. In addition to making me feel unwelcome, she made me feel incompetent, as if I should know the answers to these questions. I told her that it was my first time at Spin Cycle in hopes that she would be more polite. I was wrong, so I refrained from asking more questions. She might have had a bad day, and I didn't want this one time to be the reason as never to return. I decided to continue doing business here;--however, her attitude remained the same. The disrespect always occurred when getting coins for the dryer or asking for the restroom key. All the times that I exchanged my bills into quarters (for the dryers), staff would always glare at me, come up to me and say, "quarters are for customers only," as if I wasn't a customer. Hearing this annoyed me because the business should have known I was a regular customer as I came here a lot. It amazed me how this was a constant battle with them. Moreover, I was amazed at how staff members only noticed me when getting quarters for the dryer. I'm don't know how they didn't see me lugging all my laundry baskets inside, didn't see me prep the washer, and didn't see me transferring my clothes from the washer into the dryer; but saw me every time I walked to the bill exchanging machine to get quarters? A customer should not feel micromanaged by a business. The few times I had asked to use the restroom, they would refuse. I would get the two common responses: "Someone is in there" or "Someone is cleaning it at the moment." The turning point for me was when another customer and I had to use the restroom, and they denied both of us entry. Their excuse was that someone was using it. I was aware of their lie patterns. I knocked to show her no one was in there. She finally admitted to the lies but tried to justify her actions by saying, "I say that because there are many sketchy people in this area." I was appalled. What does that have to do with me? I'm not one of those "sketchy" persons. I am a paying customer, and there is a posted sign: "Restrooms are for paying customers only," yet service is being denied to customers. If Spin Cycle doesn't want customers using their restrooms, then Spin Cycle should be honest and display "No Public Restrooms." Due to the overcharges and poor customer service, I decided to end business with Spin Cycle. I don't see myself ever returning to Spin Cycle, nor do I recommend Spin Cycle to anyone. The only thing that can persuade me to reconnect with them again is if Spin Cycle went under new management with new staff. read more

I've had my laundry basket in my car for about a week, and my sheets, probably two months. I'm the ultimate procrastinator! I live in Oakland and I was set to get this done after work. Unfortunately an emergency brought me to Stockton, so putting this off again was what it was. Luckily, emergency taken care of so laundry chore was back on plan. Luckily I found Spin Cycle. Clean, different size washing machines and dryers, tables galore, free WiFi, vending machines, you name it, they got it. But what was a real bonus for me, their Wash and Fold service. At a $1/lb, great turn around time, it's well worth it! The owners are super friendly and will even help you load your car, which I didn't turn down considering the loads I had. I'll definitely go back, when I bring my laundry in town. Bonus: lots of parking plus pho noodle spot in the same Center, so you can eat, while you wait for the wash or dryer is done. read more

I have been going to this spin cycle location since moving to Stockton. I typically carry around my dog because he barks when I'm having an attack. But this Saturday I went to do laundry when I was approached by a rude worker. She said I was not allowed to have my pet into the laundry mat. I told her that my dog (who was in a bag and less then 10 pounds) is ADA she asked to see his papers I told her I don't carry papers but he has a medical collar - which is red around his kneck. She said you need to leave or I'm calling the police. I was fine with that because the way she was responding to me she did not have any understanding and I begin to load my clothes in the washers. 3 minutes or so passed by and she approached me again and this time she's yelling, "you cannot have a animal in here and I called the police". I tell her again he is not an animal but my service dog and that she don't have to say anything to me let the police handle the situation. The police arrive (2 cars) and I inform them that i have a service dog in my bag I do not have paper but he has his medical collar and that I have been using the laundry mat for 2 years no one has ever told me my service dog was not allowed into the facility. I point out my dog is not aggressive, he is not barking at anyone because he only barks when I'm have an attack. They say okay I leave because I had only put my clothes in and needed to pick up somethings from the hardware store. I return to put my clothes in the dryer and yes my service animal is with me again (in his bag). The worker approaches me again. I tell her I'm just drying my clothes. She yells I'm calling the police (this worker I've never seen her before). The police come and say she told them the manager does not want me on the property anymore. So I tell them again my service animal has a collar around his kneck. He is calm not barking and I just need my clothes to dry. They tell me because the manager does not want me on the property that I must leave and if they come back again I will go to jail for trespassing. What's really messed up is I have papers (they were at home) but his medical collar is around his kneck. I paid $30 dollars to wash and dry but my services was not complete. That worker needs to be fired. This company needs to talk to this worker about handling ADA everyone who has disabilities do not look the same. To be embarrassed like that broke my heart. No one has ever treated me like that they looked at his collar through the bag and let me continue on my way. But she only wanted to see his papers. read more

I Always come to this location never really have a problem, and I sent my husband to dry clothes tonight and he was turned away because it was 9pm but it clearly specifies that the last wash is at 8:30 and they're open till 10pm. He was on FaceTime with me and the lady was really rude to him and he told me that he felt she was very unprofessional. This was April 17, 2020. I love this laundry mat. I pass three other ones to get here from home and it is totally worth it. The staff here are tentative and hard working. They communicate with closing times and it is VERY clean. Lots of table space if you choose to fold here. The washing machines take card payment but the dryers are coin operated. The driers actually dry your clothes! You aren't leaving with damp clothes after thirty minutes of drying. The best part is truly the staff though, 100%. read more
