I've booked Travis for years now and can say with confidence that he is great at what he does! I've worked with Travis for pregnancy, newborn, and wedding photos: Pregnancy Photos - I was super nervous about this one. Big bare bump photos just aren't my style but I did really want to capture my pregnancy. Travis knew just what to do! He suggested we meet up downtown and took some great photos of my husband and I as we wandered from Tampa Theater past Sacred Heart and around to Curtis Hixon Park. We ended the shoot with sunset over University of Tampa which Travis timed perfectly. He was professional and fun to work with. He knew his stuff and arrived downtown before us to scout out the path. Our photos turned out great! So of course, we called him again when my son was born! Newborn Photos - Travis came to our house a few days after my son was born. He set up some lighting in the nursery and got to work while the baby hung out. After a while my son fell asleep but Travis didn't mind at all - it made it even easier to pose our little model. He captured all the little details I want to remember forever and even fit in a few family photos for us. These are images that I know we'll look back on for decades to come and it was important that they were done well. We couldn't have been more impressed with Travis and his work! Which is why I recommended Travis to my best friend to photograph her wedding... Wedding Photos - Travis was great to interact with throughout the day. He made sure to capture everything the bride requested and suggested a few extra things too. His photos turned out absolutely beautiful and he captured some gorgeous candid images of the couple.

He took great pictures, was professional and courteous, and his energy and smile kept everyone in a good mood. I have been a groomsmen about 8 times and Travis was the best photographer that I have worked with and he didn't have any arrogance or attitude that you sometimes see in the industry. He did whatever the bride wanted and even if a shot was hard, he made it work in some tight spaces. He also went out of his way to do some shots for a groomsman's father who supplied an antique car without breaking stride and with a big smile on his face. If the request was inconvenient or inappropriate, we would never have known, because Travis treated everyone with courtesy and respect and artfully complied without interfering with the bridal party pictures. I would recommend Travis to anyone looking for a great photographer.

I have had two experience in the past with this catering company. First one was back in 2019, they…read morewere hire by my apartment complex to prepare a Mother's Brunch for residents and their mother's. Second one was for my wedding. I decided to go with them expecting the same experience but this was not the case at the end. My husband, fiancé at the time, and I went to the testing, Jennifer took care of us and we expressed our menu was going to be pork-free and it was reflected in our options, chicken and steak. About a month before the wedding they changed the contact person as Jennifer left the company. This cause a great deal of stress in me due to the fact that when I spoke with Maria she seemed that she did not have a clue if what I was talking about, regarding all the menu and specifics, I had already discuss with Jennifer and changed completely the quote adding a good $800 extra to quote. Come wedding day, first, I had nice matching silverware and the team decided to put the metal silverware next to the silver wear. Here the common sense was not used. This clashed with the decor. I remember mentioning to put the silverware next to the food so if people wanted to use those instead of the ones in the table they had the choice. Secondly, the caesar salad had bacon on it and it was pre-made. Once again, I was very explicit about not wanting pork in the menu. Half of my family ended not been able to eat the salad and I found this so annoying as I paid almost $2,400 for the services. Third, the head server approach me at some point of the wedding to ask me about the services and I told her how I was feeling and told her 'not great'. To this day NOBODY from this company has reached out to me for feedback. Needless to say they won't have my business nor recommendation in the future. Lastly, keep in mind it has been almost a full year of my wedding and I still feel strongly about it all.

They catered our son and daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner 1 week after Hurricane Ian. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them. Their staff members, Ice (lead server) and Dunia (2nd server) were absolutely awesome! They showed up on time coming to Venice, Fl from Tampa during very heavy "Ian" recovery traffic. Not only did they impress us with arriving with ample time to set up before guests arrived, they were very personable, happy, enjoyable and extremely efficient in serving and clean up. The food by Affordable Catering was absolutely amazing. The 62+ guests we had were thrilled with the food and service. Sylvain is very professional and his photography is beautiful. By and large, we were very happy…read morethat we chose to hire him for our wedding day. He made everything easy on the day of the wedding, and guests commented that they hardly knew he was there (exactly what you want). The pictures he took were beautiful, with the exception of few of the bride pre-wedding that looked a little washed out, although I'm not sure if that was his fault. The one concern we had in working with Sylvain was that he moved after we had hired him and did not tell us. This made us very anxious when we found out from the venue. However, our fears were for naught and everything ran smoothly on the wedding day. The only impact his move had on us was that we weren't able to do engagement photos until the week of the wedding. Overall, hiring is Sylvain to do photography for your wedding is well worth it. However, I would not chose to use his design team for an album or prints. Get the CD and do it yourself. We went back and forth with the design team for literally months on the album, and in each iteration found mistakes they made. My parents were so upset with the initial draft design of their album that they called and asked me just to cancel it (this was our wedding gift to them). Sylvain worked with us to correct the mistakes, but I strongly feel that Sylvain should select a different design team. We've now received both albums, and I feel that the picture quality of the album doesn't do Sylvain's photography justice. Some of the photos are blurry and detail is missing. We got several prints done from another vendor and the quality was much better (so it's not the photos, it's the printer).
