By…read moretime I found her, I had already booked my wedding photog, but thought I should do a boudoir session for a wedding present for my FH. I booked it in February for a June date. She had many dates available, but figured I wanted to feel my best. I was SOOOOOOO nervous. I called my mom the night before panicking. I am not really a shy person, but this is a very personal and open shoot. My mother told me I was being crazy. The next morning, I met Christina at her studio. It is beautiful. It is open and has all different kinds of areas with lighting and seating. I got my hair and makeup done. WOW!!!! I looked incredible! Sitting there getting the hair/makeup done and chatting with the stylist and Christina relaxed me a bit. After--we went through clothing options. She helped me with what would look good, etc. Once the shoot started, my nerves came back. I felt very exposed and vulnerable. However, Christina made the entire shoot so relaxed and fun. She hyped me up the whole time and I began to feel good about myself and comfortable in the process. At the reveal, I was quite literally shocked. I didnt even recognize myself. The pictures were stunning and so tasteful. I looked absolutely incredible. Christina does amazing work and makes the boudoir shoot fun! She makes you so comfortable and relaxed! I would 100% recommend her for a boudoir shoot! Her wedding photos are stunning too! She was quick to respond, easy to schedule with and just a wonderful person! I wish I could do a session every year!

I have to admit I feel a little guilty because this felt like a gift to myself as well! Christina makes you feel so comfortable (the rosè helps too) and really guides you through every step of the session. I have never felt more confident, sexy, beautiful as I did that day. I have a little meat on my bones and some parts of my body that I was self conscious about but her experience with posing and angles eliminated all those fears! I just had my gallery reveal today and I was blown away and couldn't believe I was looking at myself. LOVE LOVE LOVE! Can't wait to get my hands on this book and share them with my husband to be in October! I feel like this is something I will be doing again in the future!

But unfortunately since it's old it's not very cool in here. It's still a cool spot and happy they use it for many community events. There's parking in the lots and around it and mostly free so there a bonus. Make sure to take a trip upstairs. They made our entire bridal party feel comfortable and we loved having them capture the little moments, the emotion, and the joy. We received our one minute highlight film THE NEXT DAY after our wedding. Need I say more. Devon understood exactly the vibe and feel I wanted and I was truly blown away when I first saw the video (and then rewatched it about 100 times). I felt like it was the music video for our wedding and it was freakin amazing. We are so excited to see our full video. Couldn't recommend Labif Filmhouse any more!! Truly the best!!!!

Awful aesthetics of what a true…read morewedding film SHOULD NOT depict, (e.g.) filming of a individual sitting in the narthex of the church looking down at their cell phone texting ? The film also showed three or more consecutive parts of the same family member,no consistancy just adding uneventful footages which were poor ad on clips. With an unleveled footage distribution giving one person or groups an unfair advantage in the entire film. And made a discriminate comment that the wedding film should not capture the groom and mom in their special dance ? He said that the bride did not smile at her dad during the dad and daughter dance and so therefore he did not use the footage and said that he thought that he should not use the footage from the mom and son dance, which inturn he said was beautiful ? I confronted Devon two months ago back on March 8th when my son sent me the link of the film which I thought was a rough sample, until we discussed the film and was told the link was the finished product this was of course discouraging and upsetting because of the quality. He then became hostile and made reference to comments I had never said.He also, unbeknownst to me passed the phone call to Rachel his girlfriend to speak with me, I explained that the film product is unpolished and aesthetically unfinished,he came back on the phone and went on to say that my son liked it ? Putting both my son and I at odds. Apparently my son and his wife did not see that this company applied the wrong name of the bride on the introduction page, again just another flawed issue. He said that my son has the original video and that if they post it to Youtube he can't do anything,I was truly discouraged and in tears from the product and the unprofessional customer relation. He said that he would make another video for me. Months came and went. I never heard or saw anything else from Mr. Devon.I reached out yesterday to speak to him,he called me back and said someone called his number.I said yes I did I am the mom of the groom from the wedding back on February 23rd ? I mentioned that it's been two months since he and I spoke regarding him making another film for me and the fact I never heard back or seen anything from him ? He entertained the topic with nothing more then canards and false delivery on his part and to the point of unwanted escalations instead of solutions and results. This company was obviously overbooked which resulted in an unfortunate sloppy edit of the existing film.

Buyer beware! This person has a lot of overly priced hidden costs never explained before signing…read morethe contract. Actually, I think the costs are made up as she goes along. It was explained to us that the $3,900 we paid covered the wedding photos, engagement photos and copies of our photos on disc. This is what we expected. We thought that to be a tad pricey but she does take good photos. What we thought and what she tried to charge us after the engagement photos (holding our photos hostage) was a huge difference. She wanted $8,000 for the bare minimum. I am posting this to hopefully save another person the stress we are going through caused by this vendor. We had our engagement photos finally done. We asked the turn around so we could use the photos for our wedding invitations (this is in documented email with the photographer and our wedding planner). We set a date to review the photos. We were excited to see our photos and to move on the next step. While we were there we went through all 98 photos she took. We were picking out what would be in our engagement book and what picture to use for our screen print at the wedding. We went over by 30 minutes and my fiancé and I were going to be late for our dance lessons. We told her we needed to go. This is when she showed us the price. I was taken back. I wasn't sure what to say. I felt rushed since we were late for our dance lessons. I felt shocked because I didn't realize their was an extra cost for anything. I was shocked about the extra cost. When I said this, she said we had no rights to any of our images and then said she had no intention of giving us a disc with our images unless we spent more money. This would only be in low resolution and over $4,000. Even then, we apparently had no right to print our images unless through her. She said we couldn't even use a photo for our wedding invitations. I subtracted things from what we expected to get. It was still $4,200. She said she would not be able to place the order until the next week. In shock, I gave her the card. As the night went on I felt more sick about what just happened. The prices she showed us were insane. She never told us about these prices ahead of time or we would have hired someone else for our wedding. We immediately emailed her in the morning (less than 24 hours) to tell her not to place the order. She went back and forth via email and changed her prices multiple times. We were never given an invoice for any part and her prices continued to change. When we told her we were not informed of this and had to rethink using her services she became even more rude than when we first questioned her prices. She told us how we had no voice or choice about our photos. When we were trying to come up with an agreement to break ties, her prices and demands became even higher. She said she will not give us any of our $6,400 back but that we could pay the difference of the $98,000 if we want the 98 engagement photos on a high resolution disc. When we said that we don't accept, that this is absurd, that she keeps increasing the cost, she refused to give us anything. We are now forced to take her to court for the $6,400 she will not return. We are months before the wedding. She is adding a lot of stress. I don't want to see anyone else go through this. It is awful. It is not what you hope for when planning a wedding. You expect people to be honest and supportive. This is just crazy. I really, really feel bad for anyone who has to deal with this company as a paying client as we have. We now have to find a new photographer and figure out engagement photos in a short time on top of everything else during this crunch time. She also wasted our time for the shoot and our money as I spent money for hair, makeup, and nails that day. This entire interaction is insane and I wish we had gone through someone else initially.

Our son was 9 months and 1 year old during the photo sessions and she did a great job with him. The studio is small and a little warm but well kept and they offer some nice seasonal background options (including live bunnies in the spring). They are about the middle of the road on prices. They are by no means inexpensive but fall in the realm of "you get what you pay for" and, with that in mind, their prices are about fair. We previously had photos done at another studio chain where we struggled to find shots we liked in order to buy. At Studio One to One, the challenge is finding shots you don't like to keep from buying them all! There are only two things I encountered that made them less than five star. The first time I dealt with them was that their phone number went to another location and I left messages twice with no return call to arrange a date and time for an on location shoot (which I had purchased through Groupon). Once they finally got back to me, all went well. The other issue is that there is not a vast variety of background options. If you don't want a seasonal look, your choices aren't much more than black, white, and the yellowish colored wall. If I use them again, it will be on location once more because the backgrounds are so lacking. Other than those couple of things, I would definitely recommend this location to someone looking for nice family or children's photos.
