Also had a nice chat with the bakers as they worked. Like us, many of them are transplants to the area and had a lot of insights to share. We were mostly served by Marshall, who was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We were also assisted by Saara, who also gave us fantastic service. We live just below the Bridge (I love that you don't need to say what bridge in Michigan), so won't be coming up here every week or month, but when next we do visit, we will definitely be stopping here a couple of times. In short: great food, great price, and Great service.

The bakery is amazing and it would be hard to select what to taste, except that I was a woman on a mission. I stopped in the week before Fat Tuesday. Placing the order was easy and took only moments to complete. I returned for Mardi Gras and the bakery was understandably busier. There were folks that failed to plan ahead, so their paczki pleasure was impacted. Me, I walked in, the same helpful person was retrieving orders and I picked up my pre-paid dozen quickly. The paczki were amazing and brought me right back to Michigan. The paczki we had in MN were good, but they aren't the same. And I've honestly never had paczki that were SO filled. And the fillings were so fresh, so perfectly balanced with the pastry. We tried six varieties (oof, yeah!) and loved them all. The prune paczki is an easy favorite, being traditional, but that Bavarian Cream was sublime. I was completely spoiled. It was fun that my first visits here were for 'holiday shopping,' which makes me look forward to coming back and trying more yummy baked items!

Bad, tables weren't clean to start, nor were they bussed to finish. The restaurant help seemed new and inexperienced. I asked one of the waitresses how the ordering and food to the table system worked and she said she'd send a supervisor to help us, who never arrived. The wait staff wasn't particularly friendly nor unfriendly, they robotically did their jobs. The menu looked intriguing until the waitress advised that they were "sold out" of at least half of the menu entree items which was disappointing. I'd go back entirely based on the food assuming the wait staff was bit stressed at lunch time on a Thursday.
