The flight was nice because they let you mix and match wines, beer, and cider. The Golden Ticket was one of their signature pizzas and I see why! They were doing a small artisan-type festival and we bought some children's books which look cute. They have a whole store you can go into or if you just want donuts and cider, you can do the grab and go area instead. If you want to go to their play area with slides etc it's $5, that also gets you admission into the u-pick area and then on top of that you pay for what you pick. We bought an apple pie, some fudge, donuts (cinnamon and plain, they also have pumpkin and gluten-free and some cherry one today), cider, and cider slushees for the car ride home. I had a slight problem - the straw poked through the cup and slushee went EVERYWHERE, so I'd recommend they maybe get thicker cups or not as pokey straws. They do have regular bathrooms here (as well as a port-a-potties) but they were a little messy. Overall I'd come back here though, they had a lot of tasty-looking treats and a cute venue.

I get it, same longitude and wines should grow similar and all that jazz, but Michigan wines outside of the sweeter styles really never taste right to me. Well whatever they are doing here is nothing short of scientifically brilliant. Probably some of the best MItten Vino I have ever had and that assessement is from traveling all around the state and trying different areas. The Frontenac, Petite Pearl, Marquette were my favorites by far. But my five stars isn't for the wine, it's for the sheer joy this place brings me. Absolutely beautiful campus with sheep and goats and a big white furball of a dog who looks so adorable but is trained to kill any possible threat to his wards. The large barn event space and indoor seating is nothing short of gorgeous and of course sitting outside is just pure joy. I will add more pics as I come across them.

Pulled up and it is a cool ranch/stable with horses gracing all around. The signage for the actual winery is a bit lacking, went to the stable end first. Like any tasting there are some you like and some you don't. The ones we liked were many as we took some home and a howler of cider. Cool place, beautiful horses, friendly service- highly recommend Nichelle. And of course the beverages were tasty.

Small but modern and clean bathrooms. The tables are nice but the chairs, both inside and in the outdoor ceremony area, are hard and uncomfortable. The outdoor wedding area has a pebble main aisle. The wedding party knew so the girls wore flats, but many of the women guests had a hard time with their heels. The area outdoors is sloped downwards toward the pond, so everyone gets a good look at the area where the couple exchange vows. The pond is very pretty, and there is a very small, maybe 1/2 acre, grape vine area. I believe this was planted to justify the winery theme in portions of the venue. The bar area is very basic, not even a sink, so the parties need to use ice tubs and kegs and keep the drinks very simple.
