We all had a great time participating in the meal preparation during the cooking lesson she gave us at our home. All of us agree that the quality and taste of the food she had us prepare was on a par with the best restaurant meals we have experienced. While the paella tasted excellent, I personally thought the marinated grilled lamb "lollipops" appetizer we prepared was an amazing taste experience. The dessert of chocolate lava cakes with raspberry ice cream put us all over the top at the completion of the meal. Chef Emily somehow managed to get us a first class meal while giving each of us personal attention, including our 10 year old granddaughter, as we learned to execute her recipes and cooking techniques. She even did all the shopping before and cleanup after too. My expectations were exceeded and I am glad I chose her when I went searching for a chef to give us a high level cooking lesson in our home as a birthday gift for my wife. In addition to all that culinary talent, she is an amazing personality too and fit right in the entire time she was with us.

Thank goodness for the reviews! They were on point. Chef Chris was extremely professional and his food was amazing. Not only did Chef Chris provide the catering, but he also was the point person for my table, chairs, and linen rental and the bar service. Having Chef Chris as the point person was a life saver, giving me a single point of contact for multiple moving parts! Our wedding reception was held at out of town and very casual yacht club. It was a bit of a schlep from Charleston (about a 40 minute drive) and didn't have a freezer. Chef Chris brought *everything* he needed, including an ingenious way to keep ice cream without a freezer on site (not sure how he did it, but I assume I would have been impressed). His staff was terrific and multiple guests said the bar service staff was also wonderful. The food was perfect! We had the low-country boil and it was AMAZING! The shrimp were HUGE and the corn was crisp, potatoes were perfect, and the sausage was bursting. We also had pulled pork on soft buns, as well as salad and green beans. No wedding cake - we went with apple cobbler. All my guests commented on the food, during and after the wedding reception.
