A couple of years ago I tried twice to come here for lunch when they showed lunch hours, only to find that they were closed both times. I believe I was able to have lunch here perhaps one time. I am here again today, the hours on both Yelp and Google show that they are open for lunch today, but the door is not open, the sign is not on, and no one is here. This is a ridiculous waste of my time. Why can't this restaurant do one of the most fundamental things involved in being a restaurant, and correctly advise the public of its actual hours of operation. Ridiculous!

He liked his tandoori chicken because of the bell peppers and onions cooked with it. My shrimp were tasty and the garlic naan made the meal better. Server was polite. We shall be back.

Super spacious, clean and comfortable. I would say service is the best I've experienced in a long time! Not only our waiter was great, but also one of the managers came by to welcome us and ask about our food. We only ordered two dishes, I ordered the bartha (eggplant) and my husband the lamb korma. We also ordered garlic naan. The servings were really big and we ended up bringing most of the eggplant dish with us. The lamb korma was the highlight! It was creamy, super tender lamb and perfect spice level for us. The bartha was good, but I prefer mine less spicy and a little more sweet. Just my preference! The naan was fantastic and gigantic. We really enjoyed it and would recommend it to our friends.

Tastier, but perhaps more authentic, which can be both good and bad. There are tastes that I'm used to and tastes that I'm not. Since I go there regularly, my strategy is to walk down the menu and try as many things as I can. Quite a number have been excellent. My two favorites so far have been Himalayan Curry and Kaida. I ordered something that I had never had before whose name I don't quite remember, but it had the word Puri in it. Let's just say that it was a very unusual taste and I'm glad I tried it, but I probably wouldn't have it again. The service is always very friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is clean and welcoming. If you are a fan of Indian food and haven't tried Urban Village Grill, I strongly suggest you do so.

The service is a bit slow and its a more seat yourself and then they come to you with menus. So don't awkwardly stand there forever. The ambiance is super bright, and pretty mellow and quiet. My husband and I can never decide what to get so we opted for Chefs Tasting menu. Its $35 per person and everyone at the table has to participate. The soup was okay. It had a nice spicy kick. The kale chatt was interesting and crispy. Honestly I liked it a lot more than I thought I would. Urban Cauliflower had a great flavor, kinda mushy though, but still balancer out. The tandoori chicken was tender and honestly wish it was bigger. The shrimp coconut curry was my least favorite. Just not a good combo for me. Lentils were hearty and had a cumin flavor. Goat and Lamb curry were very similar I could barely pull it apart. The butter chicken was our favorite. Garlic Nann you could eat on its own, Onion Nann always great but needed a dipper. Overall I liked it, but it was pricey for something I didnt love. Great start but onto the next :)
