UNEXPECTED NON-CHAIN FOOD in this trendy and developing area of Frisco. We dropped into the Spice Bazaar today looking for something that wasn't American chain food -- not the easiest find in Frisco. We enjoyed shopping in this small but well-stocked market area while we waited for our food, which came out hot and delicious!! We noted the disparity of reviews between Anglos and ethnic Indians (which concerned us, frankly) but we found each of the dishes we bought to be DELICIOUS!! We ordered Goat Korma, Saag Paneer, Chicken Biryani, and two kinds of tomato chutney, one with mango and one without. Goat was tender and flavorful, in a deliciously spicy and aromatic gravy. Saag paneer was spicier than expected, which I LOVED, but the kid who expected a lower to no level of heat HATED. MORE for me!! Everyone agreed the Chicken Biryani was delicious, and the raita that came with it provided a fresh and cooling counterpoint to the warm spices and roasted chicken. I have sneaked the tomato chutney into all manner of dishes - I love it!! 5 stars for food!! We will be back!!!!

Great place to shop. Bottle water was $0.50 for one! Random thought but great spot to stop by after my workout and grab a bite to eat. They have spices you can't get at the supermarket. Nice change of pace. Never crowded and everyone was helpful. Support your local grocers!

Small Indian market. Very tasty take food. Reasonable prices. Love the chicken #65. Garlic naan is a must for tiki masala.

Being from Chicago, I've seen my share of Farmers Markets but I've never seen one quite like this…read moreone. This market is nestled in the middle of an up and coming commercial and residential space, surrounded by parking. Vendors were selling more than fruit and vegetables. A lot of friendly small business owners, were alsom actively selling products. From wine, beard butter to barbecue sauce, there was an assortment of vendors. Did I mention the food vendors? I never would've thought a farmers market would have a food court but this one did. They even had picnic tables and additional space for eating. So if you wanted to grab somthing to eat and sit on the grass in your own chair, you could. A very relaxed outdoor experience. On hot days, make sure to wear a hat. There isn't much shade outisde the market place.

Another vendor was packing their table as well. Certainly no where near the variety noted on their website. There was virtually no vegetables or fruits and there were more port-a-potties than vendors. Don't go here. Answer to owner response: yes we went to correct address because we followed address posted on your website. Your website is so more robust than the product you deliver. Again we suggest that people avoid this market and go to more popular areas.

I think my sister in law was trying to cheer me up by bringing me to the Frisco Farmers Market this morning, but I left feeling even more sad. I'm really not used to having to drive to get to a farmers market and this was a completely different experience. There weren't very many stalls or similar items to mine back home. I'm used to countless tents with fresh flowers, fresh fish, meats, produce, nuts, soups, honey, dates, sprouts, etc. All of the vendors have TONS of fresh samples cut up. There are swarms of people everywhere. I typically leave farmers market not requiring breakfast because I've had so many fresh samples and I walk home with lovely treats and bouquets of flowers wrapped in newspaper. We also have tons of ready made food options, bakers, and endless vendors. This was all together different and extremely underwhelming. I even caught myself missing our regular paparazzi guys, who used to get on my nerves a little. It was odd walking around not seeing anyone stalking the farmers market guests for shots to sell. No A list actors, actresses, athletes, TV execs... It's all together unusual. I purchased a coffee and a couple vegan items from a vendor who said it was his very first day. I don't have any plans on returning to this farmers market even if I bore to death here, but would definitely recommend if you live walking distance as there were a couple options for fresh juices, a lemonade stand that looked tasty, a hand pie lady (with tiny samples, but enough to know she makes a great dough for them) and a few coffee options - which all together could make for a nice visit, just totally not worth driving here for.
