Who knew there was such a thing as a Chocolate Sommelier? I sure didn't until today when I went to ROYCE' Chocolate and met not one, but two of them. But then, this is chocolate with such sophistication that it deserves the sommelier experience. The experience and the service here were amazing and surpass any chocolate store I have been to. It was more reminiscent of a wine sommelier where we discussed undertones and overtones along with aromas, complexities, etc. End result, I walked out with a LOT of chocolate! Review#2183

It was a bit of a long drive for me but definitely worth it. Cute little shop in Carrollton, chocolate tasted super rich and creamy. They had a ton of variety including chocolate covered potato chips, sweet potato chocolate, matcha flavored and even some that contained liqueur. Service felt like I was in a 5 star restaurant lol A little on the expensive side, maybe for gifting since we are around the holidays. 10/10 will be coming back here.

The chocolate is delicious with a variety of flavors. Liquor chocolate, dark chocolate, fruity chocolates, chocolate dipped chips, etc. There are some chocolates from other regions such as their Ecuador chocolate that's a delicious dark flavor. As long as you like chocolate, you will find a unique flavor you love. Maria helped us out and also told us about a loyalty/reward program. Definitely will come back. They gift wrap the chocolate too for holidays.

    Chocolate variety!

Walking by, I would not have expected this to be a chocolate store. The store itself is small, and the way the layout is, the main area looks more like a dental office than a chocolate store. However, do not let the exterior deter you!! The chocolates are so darn delicious! The woman that works here is so knowledgeable about the chocolates, and can answer any question you may have! The quality of these chocolates is phenomenal! I do not even have a sweet tooth and I'm hooked! The dark chocolates are my favorite! I love the "Ghana Butter" liquor free chocolate. I was hooked as soon as I had a Yelp event here months ago. I keep coming back! I also enjoy the free chocolate samples so I know that I'm making the right choice before purchasing the whole box. I wish they would open a closer location

Seriously who doesn't love chocolate? Royce' Chocolate was just special! For the taste testing, my favorite was probably the matcha chocolate. Staff was super kind and let us know about where the chocolate came from and its origins. Some of the chocolate's tested like they had a hint of cheese cake flavor in them...YUM. I ended up buying a bunch more chocolate than I was anticipating. Honestly, this spot was great. I will be a return customer in the future, excited about this little gem.

A new location from one of the best Japanese chocolate makers has opened up in Frisco! Now I don't have to drive 20 miles to get to Carrollton to restock when I run out of my chocolate comfort food. The interior is small and cozy. They keep it a little chilly for the chocolates on display so bring a jacket if you need to. The staff were friendly and very helpful. They have a selection of flavors available year-round for chocolate bars, potato chips, nuts, etc in a room off to the side. They also have seasonal flavors at the front right where you come in. I picked up my favorite Ghana Bitter chocolate bar. The flavor is bitter, not too sweet, smooth and goes great as a post meal dessert or post workout snack/pick-me-up.

So this is tucked away on the outside of 99 Ranch and you can almost miss the entrance. The chocolates here INCREDIBLE. The chocolates are shipped from Japan so they are a bit on the more expensive side. That being said, the chocolates are always sold out. If you like truffles that are creamy and melts in your mouth, I recommend the NAMA chocolates. Personally for me, the wafers are incredibly addicting. The Baton Cookies are a hit with my family since it has a bit of coconut paired in with the hazelnuts and cacao nibs.

This hidden gem is packing a delicious punch. The customer service was excellent from beginning to the end. I love all of the the varieties and really loved the dark chocolate variety. I had to resist the urge to eat the bar in one setting- though large it was just that good!! I look forward to returning and trying some of the other treats!

I was greeted by friendly person in the store who told all about the different types of chocolate they carried. Tried some of the Nama Chocolate which was different and delicious. A very delicate texture to this treat. also tried some of the regular bars and walked away buying a box of the Nama milk chocolate. Good stuff and a change from the usual truffles

This is a very small shop and pretty easy to miss. Once inside, the chocolates are all merchandised nicely, but it doesn't really feel like a place to just browse around. You certainly want to take advantage of the expertise of their employees. Yoko helped us, and she clearly has a passion and a ton of knowledge on Japanese chocolate. We had a great time tasting different chocolates and loved several. This is a really nice place to get a unique gift or just stock up if you're a chocolate lover.

It felt like a true neighborhood spot--warm, familiar, and thoughtful. But this year, not even a "Happy Mother's Day" in sight. It may seem small, but it speaks volumes about the shift in atmosphere since the new ownership. Service feels more distant now, less like a community hub and more transactional. The new owner is courteous, but the inviting energy is gone. The food is still good, but I deeply miss the quiche--crafted with love and skill by the previous pastry chef. It was a standout and irreplaceable. Bread is made more often now, which is nice in theory, but consistency has slipped. My last loaf was disappointingly hard around the edges. This isn't a harsh critique--it's hopeful. I'd love to see some of the old heart and hospitality return. It made all the difference.

Their whole concept is based on video games, so it was a great place to have dinner after the video game museum. We walked in and were asked if we wanted to wait for a table that had a PlayStation 5 or if we wanted to sit down right away. They had a table with a PlayStation 4 available. We didn't want to wait, so we sat down at the table with the PlayStation 4. My kids were thrilled to be able to play while we waited for dinner! We had fried chicken, fries, and coconut shrimp. The food was good. But the highlight for me was their special cocktails! I had their Fett Dreams Of Boba. The drink looked beautiful, and it tasted delicious. Perfect place to have a meal and play video games if you're into that. I wished we had a place like this back home! Loved our time there.
