We saw the Wizard of Oz and it was awe-inspiring! So many surprises throughout! We brought our 6 year old granddaughter who sat spellbound through the entire event and did not want it to end. There is not a bad seat that we could see. We were in the second tier price of seats (about $125/each) and felt like we hit the jackpot! Pro tip: be sure to get your tickets from the link off the Sphere website. So many third party vendors have huge mark ups on the same seats. Second pro tip: if you are driving to the event, you do not need to arrive too early. The doors open about 30 minutes prior and arriving earlier will just leave you standing in a big entryway and there are no public restrooms until you can enter the theatre. Also, the parking lot only opens about 60 minutes in advance. Third pro tip: apples are available for sale for $10 after the show. Not worth beating up a stranger to take theirs! ;) Fourth pro tip: photo ops are everywhere with even more after the event. Save time for them and be sure your phone is charged. Fifth pro tip: small purses only! Large bags will require you to rent a locker for a large fee. Last pro tip: the concession stand/gift shop on the second floor has no line and all the goodies! The show is totally fun and was the one thing we really spent money on while in Vegas. We were not a bit disappointed! You will enjoy yourself. It is good for most ages and is less frightening than just the original movie. (If flying monkeys scare you that is!). It has been edited (shortened) from the original but you don't feel like you missed a thing. You are completely transported to a fairy land for 90 minutes and are completely lost in wonder. If you want spoilers...there are videos on Facebook. Not sharing any here so you can have the full experience as a surprise if you would like!
There are no words to describe how magical it was to see No Doubt at the Sphere. Mind bending. Incredible. Gorgeous. Beyond anything I could have imagined. Completely unparalleled and overwhelmingly beautiful. This show is a completely new format of art that can only be experienced at the Sphere.
If you enjoyed the Wizard of Oz as a kid, then definitely go. It has been so many years since I last saw it on TV, that I didn't miss the parts they cut out too much although it did seem shorter. We were in section 305, row 16, seats 24/25 - close to the middle. Good seats and not the crazy expensive ones. My husband caught a foam apple, and I touched one. The blowing leaves did come up to our section. Before the show, there were some mini spheres in the lobby you could get pictures with - the house in Kansas, the Cowardly Lion. After the show there is a Wizard of Oz short interactive performance and you can get pictures with the performers. For the AI parts, yes sometimes Dorothy's face was clear and the people around her were blurred, but the detail you could go see and the sheer scale was almost like you were there yourself. The special effects like the chairs rumbling for the tornado, wind effects of crepe paper leaves flying around for the tornado, and foam red apples dropping from the ceiling were fun. The red foam apple has the "Wizard of Oz" logo on it ,and it is a really well-made apple with a brown stem and calyx at the bottom and green leaf. It was such a silly thing, but I really wanted one and you can only get them by catching one, so I was very happy my husband caught one. Growing up watching "Wizard of Oz" on our little TV, it was great to see the detail in Dorothy and the Wicked Witch's face when it is larger than movie screen size. Seeing the colorful Land of Oz through Dorothy's open door or the Emerald City towering over you like you are really walking up to it was thrilling. The sound system provides 3D sound, and I couldn't help my body bouncing as I heard the familiar songs "Follow the Yellow Brick Road" and "We're Off to See the Wizard." We arrived around 7:30 pm for the 8:00 pm show. It took us longer than we thought to walk from the Cosmopolitan. Most of the people it seemed were arriving 5 or 10 minutes before 8 pm. If you are going to see the show, stay at the Venetian since you can walk there directly -it is attached to the hotel convention center area. There were some moving walkways which made the long walk easier. It did take us some time to find our way out of the Shops at the Venetian to get to the Strip.
First time at The Sphere and it did not disappoint. Venue is easy to get to and parking was easy going in and leaving. The immersive experience was unmatched! The seats vibrated. I was afraid of being experiencing motion sickness; however that it did not happen. I sat in section 207 and I felt it was perfect. I had a clear view of everything happening. This was the best concert I've attended ever and I did not mind the price as the immersive experience was excellent.
We went to the Sphere to see the Wizard of Oz with our kids. I went to the Back Street Boys at the Sphere a few months prior and was blow away by the show and the sphere itself. We were in town again, this time with our kids so we got tickets for Wizard of Oz! The Sphere is just so cool, I wanted my kids to experience it! The visuals and the sounds are fantastic. It's immersive in a way that's just spectacular. The falling leaves, apples, snow, and wind were so fun during the movie. The seating is definitely steep, but that's what makes it what it is. There's really not a bad seat in the house because of the design. My kids loved the movie. We got the souvenir cups and snacks before the start. After the movie in the lobby they have characters from the Emerald City do a show with the Wizard. The kids enjoyed that as well. We then walked through the tunnel to the Venetian to check out the Wizard of Oz photo spots in the waterfall atrium. We bought a parking pass for the sphere so you have up to 2 hours after the show before you have to move your car. Can't wait for our next show at the Sphere!
I experienced my first concert at the Sphere and saw No Doubt. I thought I knew what to expect at this venue based on other concerts being shared, but I didn't really know until I was actually there. The space felt huge inside, more so than it looked from the outside. I love the immersive experience the venue offered. I think I'm gonna have to come back for more concerts. I highly recommend seeing anything here, concert or movie! I sat up in the 400's and centered. I thought it had the perfect view, but then again I have no other sections to compare it to. The only thing is, if you have a fear of heights, it's a bit scary to be up so high and even more scary going up and down the stairs. You've been warned, lol.
Definitely worth doing your research do seats before purchasing tickets! I believe I was in the 306ish section which was right in the middle and gave perfect viewing of the sphere. No complaints. You can walk through to the sphere from the Bellagio so that's a very convenient stay when seeing a show here. Security and getting through was a breeze and once inside the sphere, the escalators can get congested and the seats are steep but the view is so cool. Bars are Vegas prices and the drink consistency was so/so. Bathrooms were plenty as well! If it wasn't so pricey, I would def come back more often to see more shows here!
The Sphere in Las Vegas is a venue where the show makes all the difference. While Postcard from Earth felt like an IMAX theater on steroids, seeing the Eagles live was like entering a whole different dimension. The visuals were insanely amazing, and the crystal-clear audio was perfect throughout the show. Truly mind blowing entertainment when you love the music. I loved every minute and truly wished the concert would never end. For the best experience, aim for the second or third levels. Level 1 is a literal pain in the neck, and level 4 is just too high for the right perspective. Most importantly, stay away from obstructed view seats in the back of the 100 level, as the overhang cuts off the top of the massive screen. A fascinating bit of tech is that the venue uses beamforming audio. This allows them to direct sound so precisely that different sections could theoretically hear different languages or effects without any bleed-over. If you have the chance to see a live band here, don't miss it. Pro tip: The logistics to get there were a breeze, as the Venetian bridge made getting in and out easy.
"Somewhere over the rainbow..." As many times as we've either passed by or overlooked The Sphere, we chose to watch the "reimagined" or digitally enhanced version of the 1939 classic, The Wizard of Oz. After seeing this immersive version, I began to appreciate the actors in a whole new way. Structurally, I remember periodically watching the construction of The Sphere during stays at nearby Palazzo, since we often had rooms overlooking its construction site and the nearby Wynn Resort and its golf course. We also watched National Geographic's "Building Impossible," which featured the installation of massive LED screens in both the interior and exterior of the orb. We caught the film"Postcard from Earth," which showcases The Sphere's 4D and 18K resolution. But you have to see this venue in person to appreciate it truly. Not only were we impressed with the visuals, but, we were surrounded by thunder claps, flashing lightning strikes, felt strong blowing wind with falling leaves, and pelted by apples and snowflakes. Also, since were were seated upstairs in row 11, when we looked down, we saw the Winged Monkeys flying above the audience on the floor level. The drawbacks that we, along with many others found, was the narrow walk-space between rows and steepness of the stairs leading up or going down from the upper rows. Several women claimed they felt like they had climbed a ladder and were breathing heavily by the time they reached their seats. Since we were staying at the Palazzo resort, we were informed there was direct and covered access to the venue from their convention room area. Unfortunately, we were re-routed to access the Sphere via Sands Avenue because the resort had closed the direct access off temporarily for on-going renovation of the conference room area. Still, we'd be happy to return to catch another event at the Sphere.
Within my time in Vegas, my wife and I visited the Sphere to enjoy a mega exciting concert featuring Illenium! As someone whose been to many stadium/arena events, the Sphere was the easiest and fastest times to get into the Sphere. Competition with the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles with their quickness. Plenty of lines to go around, along with a bridge that connects from the Venetian to the Sphere. Talk about convivence. Inside the Sphere lobby is full of interactive and cool designs, including statues of a certain event, 3D models, projectors, merch shops, food, and drinks. I think it's fair to say that there's almost no bad seats in the Sphere. If you want floor seats, that's the best if you want to enjoy the event with the artist in front but you get limited view of the actual screens spiraling around the Sphere, you'll have to look up plenty of times if you decide to get floor/sec 100 seats. Best seats to see artist: Floor and Section 100 Best view for the Immersive vibes: Section 300 - 400 Watch out for seats in the back end of section 100s as they're mostly restricted view. You'll see about half of the screen. Usually pretty informative when purchasing tickets as it'll state if it's restricted view or not. Onto the Illenium show, the visuals were absolutely INSANE. As Illenium and his team made the visuals specifically for the Sphere performance, my wife and I had a great time enjoying a mix of dancing and sitting down enjoying the visuals. Behind the visuals is a well made story as well which made the experience unforgettable. It's essentially a full VR portal in the arena and certainly watching it online doesn't do it justice at all. It's very much worth to find time to visit the Sphere for a amazing visual performance. Best experience I've ever had. Perfection everywhere, from the staff, visuals, displays, lights, and sound. My wife and I enjoyed every moment and can't wait to be visit again.
Absolutely love this venue!! The special effects, sound and visuals are all extraordinary!! In the higher sections you can see EVERYTHING! No need to strain to look around, everything is SUPER clear and easy to view from the higher levels. 100 section is GREAT and much closer to the stage BUT most seating is covered above you from the higher level seating. So your view can be obstructed a bit. Floor is wonderful! BUT you will stand the entire time and you will need to constantly look up and far back to see all of the visual effects. Floor is perfect if you only want to see the performers up close. Not a bad seat or spot in the house just different views!
4.2.26 - Came back again for Illenium/Slander. Merch and drink lines on ground floor were long. I recommend going on a different level for those. My cousin spent $110 for 1 Jameson coke, 1 rum & coke and a double shot of whiskey, which was overpriced. Our seats were in 407, row 8, seats 20-21. After experiencing the show in both section 207 and 407, I would recommend the 305/306/307 sections. But, if in 207 or 407, go for seats 1-10 (closer to the center). It was my cousin's first Illenium show at the Sphere and first time at the Sphere in general. He loved it! Im glad I was able to attend this event twice!
This is more a review of The Wizard of Oz movie/experience at the Sphere but as someine who wasn't sure if it was worth going, it turned out to be worth the price of admission. The 4D elements along with the massive dome screen was truly an experience. And, it helps that I caught an apple that fell. They also have exhibits around The Wizard of Oz in the lobby area. If you stay after the movie, they even have an interactive session with the Wizard. If you're in doubt, it's worth checking out the Sphere! read more
Fun experience and Wizard of Oz was a good first movie to adapt. The movie itself has been lovingly restored and remastered to fit the gigantic screen. The wind and seat effects were fun and it is a timeless movie. Seats were ok, comfortable but could use a little more leg room and the flying monkey effect was underwhelming. A little jarring hearing the Sphere staff yelling for people to leave so they can clean up they could have been a touch nicer and need a little customer service training read more

Spoiler Alert! Stop reading if you want surprises. What an amazing experience we had. I went to their planet earth show last year but for my birthday this year, we saw the Wizard of Oz. Prices are expensive but you have to get there early to take advantage of the photo opportunities and their pre-post show. Made it so worth it! The actual movie in the sphere was absolutely stunning! And it's interactive with chair movement, wind, and items flying around you. I caught a leaf and even got an apple which was really cool. The color, sound, effects and full picturesque views were incredible. 10 out of 10 recommend! read more
Sphere was a terrific, unique experience. Such a large venue, with a screen that fills every person's field of view, is stunning. We saw the Eagles, and they had custom video content both before the show, and for each song. The lobby is equally impressive - giving a sense of the size of the building, even though it's separated from the auditorium. And from the outside - having an ever-changing seamless exterior display makes it a wonderful addition to the city skyline. We walked there from the Strip, and having the building visible from many blocks away added to the show. One heads-up for attendees - the seats and armrests both flip up when you stand - this makes it easy to let people through, and to come and go in general. BUT - the springs are really aggressive - if you have a drink in one of the somewhat flimsy cup holders on the back of the seat in front of you, and the person gets up, you could easily have some or all of your beverage end up in your lap. read more

Sphere is just as impressive the second time around. My first visit was for Postcard from Earth and this time we returned to experience The Wizard of Oz. One of the most memorable moments is the transition scene when Dorothy is swept from Kansas to Oz. As the storm builds, loose papers begin swirling across the massive screen and then seem to spill out into the room, creating the illusion that debris is flying all around you. The effect is paired perfectly with subtle wind and vibrating seats, making it feel like you're actually inside the cyclone as everything lifts, spins, and shifts from black-and-white Kansas into the color of Oz. Beyond that scene, the immersive details really elevate the experience. From falling apples and the flying monkeys overhead to seat movements that sync with the action. It's not just visually stunning, it's interactive in a way that makes the show extra engaging and genuinely fun. read more
Absolutely stunning showing of a great film. While shorter than normal film, DVD, etc. It has such fantastic scenery added to enhance the film. The 4D experience is something to behold, worth the trip to see it. Massive interior entrance with shops and displays to entertain you. Bars are great. The high escalator can be intimidating but there are elevators. Once inside at your viewing section, the steps doen to your seats looks scary but there are handrails to help. Cup holders are located at the back of the seats in front of you at you feet. read more
One of the main reasons my partner's family planned a sibling trip to Las Vegas again was to go to Sphere to see The Wizard of Oz. Note: it's not a stage show, nor is it the entire movie as we know it. Just run with an experience. It's like IMAX on steroids. I know you've read a million review about this place, and I tried not to read up on the details, because I like being surprised. So, no spoilers other than two scenes are very popular and immersive. All I have to say is if they ever do a Star Wars/Star Trek experience at Sphere, I'd be there a LOT. I would love to see a concert there. I think something space-related from an observatory would be awesome. Make the trip. Bite the bullet with cost. It's so worth it. Also, it's within walking distance from the Strip. We had one person in our group who has difficulty walking, so ride share/taxi drop-off and pick up is close and easy as an alternative to walking. read more

I saw Illenium at The Sphere on 03/06/2026, which is over a month ago today, and I still think about it often. I had not been to this venue before and didn't know what to expect. Both the opening act, Dab the Sky, and Illenium absolutely blew me away. The graphics and sound quality were amazing. My friend and I sat in Section 105, row 24 - we didn't know until we got there that the overhang would obstruct some of the view for rows 21 and back. Apparently the best view of the screen is in the 200s sections - I imagine it'd be better for your neck too, not having to look up as much. The venue has multiple doors at the entrance. The FAQs on the Sphere website stated we could bring in empty, soft plastic bottles to be filled inside the venue, but there were no water stations in sight. The one thing that was really frustrating was the website states the venue is a "no bag" facility and limits bags to 6 in. x 6 in. x 2 in. We saw others with purses bigger than that and not clear either, yet they were allowed into the venue after a quick search. Leaving the venue was insane - we waited a long time in the Taxi line while also trying to get an Uber or Lyft. Barely any taxis showed up, and after a while they finally said that taxis are limited due to other events. There were some Escalades and mini party buses available for $100 or more - that's not bad if splitting among a big group, but there were just two of us. We ended up walking back to our hotel (Harrah's) and it only took 20 minutes, which was faster than waiting for a ride. The downside was that it was super cold and windy. I had to drop one star for these things, but the show and the venue itself were great. read more
I've been to the Sphere twice. The first time was to watch the postcard Earth show. It was ok. For the price, I didn't think it was worth it. I decided to take my daughter to the Wizard of Oz show. She did like it, but I didn't think the price you pay and the experience was worth it. read more
Date of visit: December 31, 2025 While I've always found this to be a cool venue from the outside, I was not eager to attend an event given the ridiculously high price of literally every thing that screens here, whether it was the Darren Aronofsky film that was designed to be shown here or the reimagining of The Wizard of Oz. But when one of my husband's favorite groups, Backstreet Boys, was playing around New Year's Eve, I knew that it would make for a great Christmas gift--especially since despite all of our journeys to Vegas, we had never been there at the turn of the calendar before. Sphere is easily accessible from The Venetian, but note that easy does not mean fast; it is a hike! I had been in this part The Venetian before having attended a large conference a few years back as you walk through the conference section of the building to get to the skybridge to the actual venue. I did chuckle at the amusing combination of conference attendees and Friends of Dorothy on their way to see the Wizard on a random weekday while passing through. Personally I am not a huge fan of Backstreet Boys (I was more N'Sync), the concert was very impressive. We had seats on the 300 level which I think were fantastic and I didn't feel like I wished I was down on 200 at all because the screen is so immersive and all-encompassing that I didn't mind the stage looking so small; we could always see what was going on. Speaking of the screen, it. Is. Awe-inspiring. It's akin to IMAX on steroids, the screen is next to you. It's above you. It's below you. The pictures and video I posted really do not do it justice and I cannot recall another time when I entered a concert venue and had my breath taken away. Staff were nice but be careful exiting; we were ushered out an exit that put us on the street, in the rain, and we would have much preferred walking through The Venetian instead to get back to our hotel. read more
Parking for the sphere is a bit of a nightmare. Know this heading in and pack your patience. The staff outside herds everyone to stairs to gain entry. If that is not something you can do, you have to get a little forceful with them and that unnecessary. I know if I need an elevator or not... leave it there. Once inside... beautiful. Fully immersive and Wizard of Oz (the show I'm attending) is everywhere. The sounds, smells, video, imagery everywhere. Security is pretty thorough and I'm alright with that. I want to feel safe. Drinks are steep as is expected for an attraction like this. They could and should offer carriers. It's hard to hold on to your over priced drink, a snack and a handrail to navigate the stairs to your seat. Bartender TODD was amazing BTW and deserves all the praises I can give . read more

Amazing, like NO OTHER entertainment experience that is best experienced versus trying to describe to anybody. If you are lucky enough to see one of your favorite performers/musicians and their take on visuals it is well worth a visit. Not know where to pick a seat and not wanting to stand, we got seat center of the stage on the seated section underneath an overhang, and vowed to get something not above us on a return trip. Experienced Phish 4/19 and 4/20/25 and am going back for the next 3 night run 4/30 - 5/2/26, counting down the days! Not so lucky with tickets this time around in Section 210, but no overhang with a view from the side for this trip. read more
I have a mixed review. 1) The Wizard of Oz movie was fantastic. You could tell we were in the cheap-ish seats (in the middle of the middle) because we didn't get any of the effects like flying leaves, bubbles, etc. We did get the seats shaking, so that was cool. 2) The d*mn rows are WAY too narrow and I, and others with me, were scared we were going to fall. Dangerous, and you feel like you are packed in like a sardine. That was not fun. 3) Come on, the mark up on the merchandise was ridiculous. 4) Drink prices, while they included a branded cup that we didn't need, were also expensive. So, would I go again, probably not. I went so that my friend could experience the movie. Now that we have been, we don't feel the need to go again. read more
We went for what was supposed to be THE EAGLES last show of their residency at the Sphere. Turbos out they have actually re-upped for a few more shows. We had never seen the Eagles in concert, so this would be a unique experience itself. But inside the Sphere with the projections that were made, made it truly amazing. We both really enjoyed our experiences. Really great! read more

Today on our trip to the Sphere we enjoyed the Wizard of Oz performance. We truly enjoyed the convenience of entering the venue from the Venetian hotel. Our seats were very comfortable and we enjoyed the performance growing up as a child watching the Wizard of Oz. I found myself smiling throughout the performance. We were fortunate enough to actually catch an apple from the tree scene. I would love nothing more than to share this experience with my extended family. read more

If you're ever in Vegas, and looking for a show, I highly recommend The Wizard of Oz at the Sphere. We sat in the middle Row 21,Section 406, and it was amazing, it's like you were literally there. The graphics were great, and with the tornado scene, your chair vibrates like you're also going through it. I'm not one to go to a show twice, but this one, I definitely would go back. read more
The concert venue that will ruin all other venues. A friend and I came to the Sphere along with thousands of other devoted Backstreet Boys fans and it was life changing! Yes, the adult me paid for the tickets but the 12 year old me definitely showed up. The beam forming technology delivers such high quality sounds specific to the audience and sections simultaneously that the audio experience is like nothing I've ever experienced. I am no stranger to concerts but the Sphere blew my mind. I even debated not reviewing it because I don't think I could do justice to my personal experience. The high resolution screen delivered immersive background visuals that were both beautiful and amazing. The seats were comfortable and I truly do not think there's a bad seat in the house unless you choose the one that may be partially obstructed by a screen. If you are afraid of heights, there are places with quite a decline due to the shape (spherical) so you might want to consider this when choosing seats. I was slightly worried that it would make me feel some motion sickness but it was fine. Even the exterior screen is beautiful both from up close and from afar as we were able to see it from parts of our hotel. There are concession stands and yes, they can be quite pricey but so is every other concert or event venues. They do have a bag policy for safety; make sure to read about it before your event. Overall, my experience here was out of the ordinary. Would I return again for another concert or event? Absolutely! If you haven't experienced the wonders, I implore you to do so! read more
Dear reader, The Sphere is very much worth the fuss. We saw The Wizard of Oz there and it was such a cool experience from start to finish. The whole place feels like an attraction before you even sit down, but what really impressed me was how easy and organized it was getting in and out, especially for such a massive venue. The employees were also all really nice, which made the whole experience feel even more polished. Once the show started, things only improved. The seats were comfortable, the visuals were absolutely wild, and there were little surprises throughout and even after the show that made it all feel extra special. It did not feel like watching a normal movie so much as being dropped directly into the middle of it, which is exactly the kind of theatrical excess Vegas should be offering. Overall, this was such a fun experience and one I would absolutely recommend. Consider me fully won over. read more

I would love to come back and get another view from the 200 or 300 level seating as I think it would be a different sphere experience than on the floor. Being so close to the band was also amazing. I bought a last-minute ticket for this on the edge to watch one of my most all-time favorite childhood movies. The Wizard of Oz. Parking is quite a distance and I only got it because as you know hotel hotel, it can be a mile long walk and for my own safety since I attended this alone, it was wise for me to buy parking close by. There really is no bad seat in the house. I spent about 160 total for parking and my ticket itself. These Ticketmaster fees are ridiculous though. But I digress. The show was so in engaging and interactive with lights, and the theater itself was pretty miraculous. Made me feel like I was literally in the show with Dorothy. I would watch another show there, but not the same show twice because it's not cheap but what a wonderful experience! read more
I saw The Wizard of Oz at The Sphere and had such an amazing immersive experience. It honestly felt like I was watching Oz for the first time, even though I've seen the original movie dozens of times. I sat in section 307, which was slightly off center but still a great view. I would definitely recommend the 300 level at The Sphere, you really can't go wrong. From the very first tornado scene with the special effects, I was completely wowed. I also loved the falling apples and the flying monkeys. I was a little concerned about the price at first since I paid $140, but it was absolutely worth it. If you're an Oz fan and want to relive those childhood memories, this experience is a must! A+ read more
An absolute dream x2! I saw the Backstreet Boys this past Saturday and also back in August! Hell, if the price is right-- I wouldn't mind going a third time!! The Sphere is absolutely incredible! The work and thought into putting this together to put on that incredible show?? Mind blowing. The Boys might have a lot to do with that and swaying my bias because DUH... they are the absolute best! #BSBforever -- but, the Sphere itself, wow. If I could (afford it), I would go to every show there! First show, we were in the 100s but in the back rows so we had a little obstruction of the screen views but perfect viewing of the stage. Second show, 100s again but 3rd row from the front! It made a world of difference and we were able to see allllll the special effects and videos on the screen this time around. Granted, we did pay a little more than the first but it was WORTH IT! After going to the BSB Air Terminal, we walked from there straight to the Sphere through the hotel. It's easy, follow the signs and the flood of everyone (in this case for the Boys) wearing all white! Sooo many people, yet getting through the security line and entering into the Sphere flowed smoothly and we were in before we knew it. We came to the Sphere 1 year later and during this Xmas break, we saw 2 shows there: 1) Wizard of Oz - saw this on 12/23/2025, the tornado scene was best but rest was mediocre - although enhanced with the visuals. Sphere adaptation of the classical musical added some delight and enjoyed the chair movements, apples falling and leaves blowing into our face. If you don't catch an apple, just buy it for $10 per foam apple. 2) Backstreet Boys - saw this on 12/26/2025, this is the concert that changed our minds and thus we are upgrading our rating from 3 stars to 5 stars for the Sphere. After going to the incredible production of Backstreet Boys and experiencing the full visuals -- it's one of the best concert experiences we've had. We had some nice seats in section 406 and Row 4, no one was in front of us! Got tickets off StubHub so glad it all worked out nicely. read more
Amazing venue. Security was smooth and so was getting tickets scanned. I love that they had merch and food and beverage on every level. The main stage and effects during the concert are unreal. I saw BSB and it was by far the best concert I've ever been to! read more

An Unforgettable Night at the Sphere - Zac Brown Band Concert: This was an excellent concert and an awesome performance from start to finish. Zac Brown Band absolutely delivered at the Sphere. What made this concert so special wasn't just the music, it was Zac Brown's spoken monologue between songs. He talked about life experiences, life itself, and his next song in a way that was fascinating and deeply moving. It felt so different from typical concerts, really entertaining and genuine. You could tell he was speaking from the heart. The closing was absolutely amazing--patriotic and powerful. I don't know if that's his usual closing or if it was something special for this show, but my God, it was awesome. I was blown away. As for the Sphere itself, what a great venue! The staff is excellent and really knows what they're doing. They can direct you everywhere you need to go. There are clear signs for bathrooms and everything else, making it super easy to navigate. Easy to get in, easy to get out. I have no complaints whatsoever. It's just an amazing venue all around. If I could see this concert again, I would in a heartbeat. Highly recommend catching Zac Brown Band at the Sphere if you get the chance! read more
Overall first time coming here. I had fun. Event: I went to the BSB event here on a Saturday night. The show itself was amazing. We sat in the upper bowl and man the design was crazy. Great performance nonetheless. Value: it's gonna be on the pricier side. Get ready to spend a pretty penny. I got a hook up on the tickets so I'm grateful. Parking: we took an uber arriving. I suggest waking somewhere else and ubering out of there. It was just way too long of a wait. Overall I really want to experience a DJ that I wouldn't enjoy to fully experience the capacity of this place. read more
We went to see the Wizard of Oz there. We splurged and got the Bad Witch Experience. It was worth it. The lounge had various snacks and beverages to nosh on before the show. We were allowed to take food back to our seats. The seats in section 206 had a great view and were not too difficult to access. The venue itself was amazing. I even caught an apple during the movie. However, be prepared to do a moderate amount of walking while on the Sphere premises. The complex itself is just HUGE. The pedestrian bridge, the parking lots, valet, and ride share transportation areas are a fair distance away from the entrances. VIP entrances are further away from the main doors. Try to use the elevators within the Sphere instead of the escalators if one wants to minimize the distances to your seats. Overall, well worth the money for a great and unusual experience. I will return in the future if I have the opportunity. read more
I went to The Wizard of Oz and Backstreet Boys concert. My seat was 208 section Oz and 209 BSB. Both of them were row 11. The stage was very close and screen was great. I could catch an apple I think for Wizard of Oz 300 section is better but the concert 200 or 100 is good because you can see the artists. I think 100 sections has to be not over row 20. I almost got motion sickness sometimes. Focus to see the roof or the artist help to sickness. Sphere is wonderful place. read more
Have seen two shows here. U2 virtual concert and Wizard of Oz. The venue is a nice refreshing option from the typical Vegas shows. Multi-sensoral approach and amazing screen makes it memorable. I liked the U2 concert more than the Wizard of Oz Movie, both the movie is still worth seeing. Sit in the lower level to catch apples! read more

I truly had a great time with my first visit to the Sphere for the Wizard of Oz. We did forget to buy our tickets online ahead so the less expensive ones ($109) sold out, be aware of that as the tickets for this show are IMO unreasonably expensive ($130 pp). We did get drinks there with souvenir cups, which were pretty good. Pros: got to see a classic in a different atmosphere with the cool effects, felt like a kid again as was one of my fav movies, photo opportunities were cool and overall experience Cons: ran into a few old folks sitting around us with poor manners, prices did not equal the return - for the price you pay I believe it should be a live production and I don't think the cost is worth it (I may be the only one but that price to see an old movie just for the effects? Ehh not as impressed to be honest). I did catch a foam apple for a souvenir! That was exciting. All and all, I like the Sphere but I feel it would be more worthwhile for a live production or concert rather than this overpriced older movie that while was cool, wasn't impressed as much as others seem to be. I'd be open to reviewing it again if I ever get the chance to see a concert here but I'm of the belief that while it was a cool memorable experience, it looks cooler from the outside than inside. Were the effects cool? Yes but not worth the price at all, I feel like the show is overhyped. I'm glad my friend paid for my ticket or I'd feel more cheated than I do. I'll chalk it as a good memory bucket list check off but I wouldn't recommend it for this show. read more

As someone who's sustained/survived being internally decapitated & consequently has lots of hardware in my neck, what section would you recommend I sit in?
205-208 or 305-308 so you can look directly at the screen in front of you. They are more centered and you will have a full direct view of the panoramic screen.
Taking 2 elderly handicapped ladies to the show on Thursday. We are Ubering down, is there an entrance to be dropped off or how do I get them to the show?

Is there restaurants and good food at the sphere?
You can order fast food at the Sphere. Ie. chicken tenders, chips, etc… The Sphere is also attached to the Venetian Hotel with an all indoor walkway, so you can go to their restaurants and food court, pre and post show too.
Section 210 first row or section 203 6 rows back - what seats do you think would be better?
I would always choose the first row. Sat first row center in 300's and it was ideal.
Can I buy tickets at The Sphere on the day of the showing for Postcards from Earth?
Yes, but it is better to buy ahead of time online so you can choose your seats and to make sure they are not sold out for the day. There are discount vendors online such as Vegas.com where you can purchase tickets cheaper.
Are kids 2yo allowed? And if so what's the best show for them to see?
I don't know what their official rules are, but I think a two-year-old would be overwhelmed by the Sphere experience in any capacity. It is loud, flashing lights...could be scary.
Are they really strict with the bag dimension?

I went at the end of March. The temperature indoors was just right. Short sleeves would not be a problem.

Do they play movie in there?
The sphere requires a very complex camera for all footage used inside so they currently only have one movie--Postcard from Earth. I hope to see more movies in there soon!
Are security lines a long wait or do they move pretty quickly?

Has anyone parked at the adjacent H parking lots? Is it a very long walk to/from the Sphere? Going after F1 & reserved onsite parking but Sphere refunded due to F1. If having difficulty walking, park at Venetian or H lots (H1 better?) -w/c better?
The parking and traffic around the Sphere is gridlock on event nights. You're better off parking further away and walking. We were at Paris and walked - it was easy and beats sitting in traffic.
Where are the bathrooms and emergency exits?
Please look for the signs, Restrooms and Emergency Exits are clearly marked.
What time should I arrive for the U2 show?
I stayed at Paris. Definitely recommend walking. Traffic is a stand-still before and after the show.
Are they strict on the purse policy of 6 by 6?
My purse was slightly bigger...maybe 6"x8"? & I had no issues going thru with it. I thought they'd make me open the purse & check but they just had everyone go thru the metal detectors.
Is it a really far and long walk from Venetian (corridor, bridge, etc.) to the Sphere (The Sphere Experience)?
