Definitely one of the best attractions in Vegas! Highly recommend coming here for a concert or one of the immersive experiences. Seating: I've sat in Sections 200, 300, and 400, and I prefer Sections 200 or 300. I haven't sat in Section 100. However, according to AI, the overhang starts around Rows 20 to 24, which may result in an obstructed view. Tips: Do not get drunk before or during the show! I've seen people complaining that the stairs in Sections 300 and 400 are too steep, so keep that in mind when choosing your seats. Also, bring a light jacket if you tend to get cold. Each concert also includes access to an experience room at the Venetian, where you can take pictures and purchase souvenirs, so be sure to check it out before or after the show. I've seen Postcard from Earth, Backstreet Boys, and Eagles here, and I really enjoyed every show I've attended. Even though I'm not an Eagles fan, the entire experience made the concert so enjoyable. I was especially surprised to see this legendary band perform for two hours without an opener! Book a ticket and enjoy the show when you're in town. You won't regret it!

There's truly nothing that compares to Sphere, but man, those upper seats are terrifying! The auditorium is so steep and narrow--one wrong step and it feels like they're falling to their deaths! Be careful up there, peeps! Note to self: Uber straight to the red carpet drop-off next time! Walking all the way through The Venetian felt like an endless maze up, down, and around back streets. That said, it's an incredible venue, and I'm so glad we caught The Wizard of Oz before it wrapped up. Incredible show, mind-blowing sound, and top-tier special effects!

For you Disney lovers this place is "Soaring" meets your favorite concert venue. Make sure you check the view from your desired seat so you don't miss the experience during shows as some seats have their views obstructed by the overhang. Section 100s row 20 is sort of the cut off for obstructed views if you want to see both the performer and the show on screen. The sound quality is impeccable and there is plenty to see and do before the show. My one big complaint is the cupholders if the person in front of you gets up and your drink is more than halfway full you will get showered with it! 'Whats that scent you're wearing?' 'Oh it's the new eau de beer is so good here I'm gonna wear it' fragrance!

We visited the sphere to see the acclaimed Wizard of Oz, and it was spectacular! The effects and detail of the movie make it 100 times better than anytime that I have seen it before. From the wind blowing to the apples, falling to the monkeys flying in the room actually felt like it was moving. The experience was amazing and afterward they had an in-house show of the the famous scene in the movie with the Wizard and figuring out that he's not really a wizard at all. The audience can participate and there are LED walls of the wizard and the wicked witch and Dorothy all around. Some people complain that there's only certain sections that get apples and I don't see an issue with that because the way the sphere is set up. It's probably not safe to drop them everywhere but I would definitely sit in the 305 or somewhere around that section because those are definitely the best seats also be very, very careful because it's very steep and you have to hold on to the bars to walk. I highly recommend going to see any show there, but definitely see the Wizard of Oz!!

It's the one-year anniversary of The Sphere's presentation of *The Wizard of Oz*. I've heard people talk about the show, and I wanted to see it for myself. I'll share my thoughts on the show; but first, here's some general information about The Sphere. General Information:: If you're planning to catch a show, you can get tickets through The Sphere's website, which uses Ticketmaster's platform. It's a good idea to have the Ticketmaster app on your phone, as they rarely use paper tickets. There is a concierge office on-site, but it only opens an hour before the first show of the day and closes 30 minutes after the last one starts. Even though there are retail and promotional displays, the ticket office in the Venetian doesn't sell Sphere tickets--it only handles shows presented on Venetian-Palazzo property. If you're driving to The Sphere, it has its own parking lot. But given the venue's size, there aren't enough spaces for everyone. A lot of people end up parking at the Venetian or Palazzo parking structures instead. The Venetian charges $20; but with a local ID, you get 3 hours of free parking. But for live concerts, I have been charged as much as $30 for parking. There's a climate-controlled passageway from the Venetian Resort to The Sphere. However, the Venetian is currently building a convention center, so this passage can close without announcement. When that happens, you'll need to walk the length of Sands Ave between Las Vegas Blvd to Koval Ln, which takes about 15 minutes. The Wizard of Oz:: The Wizard of Oz is a 1hr:42min film, but this version trims it down to a tight 75 minutes while keeping all the key scenes and maintaining a nice flow. It's presented as a "4D" experience, blending AI, 360° visuals, immersive sound, and multi-sensory effects. It was a fresh take on a classic piece of intellectual property. I enjoyed it. After the show, there are plenty of displays where you can snap souvenir photos--and a lot of opportunities to purchase merchandise.

We went to see the Wizard of Oz. The show was great, the 4d elements made it really special (wind, leaves, apples, etc). We are glad we went even though it was costly and a lot of the seats were empty. Parked at the Palazzo. They didn't have the tunnel to the Sphere open so we walked in the 100 degree heat both ways (up hill both ways,... kidding). Not sure why they didn't open the tunnel. Parking at the Palazzo was $25 so consider uber if in a small group.

Went to the sphere twice during my Vegas vacation. Saw the Wizard of Oz and of course my Backstreet Boys! Very different crowds. lol. If you can, park or get dropped off at the Venetian and from there you can walk directly to the Sphere. Great during the hot weather. If you are attending a concert, do not sit in the 100s section from rows 23 and on as you will be in obstructed view. Lots of great photo ops inside of the Sphere. Food and bevys were great but a tad pricey. Different options and stands making wait times not too long. Staff was helpful! Let us know 10 mins before show was starting to ensure we were in our seats. Visuals and sounds are great inside. Truly immersive experience. My friend did have to put in her earplugs because she felt the sound was too loud. I thought it was perfect! Can't wait to come back again! Tip: Leaving a big show, the tunnel from the Sphere back to the Venetian does take awhile. So be kind to others while getting back.

We got tickets for the Eagles performing at the Sphere. We parked at the Wynn and walked across. Parking at Palazzo was $30 for special event and at the Wynn it was $20 for all day parking and 3 hrs free for locals. Well we missed the 3hrs limit so we paid $20. No matter it was worth it lol Once we reached the Sphere the size of it was impressive and ever changing. It's technically a giant tv screen. Famous for the ever changing display. It is also good for advertisements. We walked up to vip entrance and show the security our tickets and was let thru and we had to go up an elevator and then we had to show another security our wrist band and tickets again to be seated in VIP sections. Yes, we had VIP tickets and the VIP suites serves open bar drinks, snacks and food. It was luxury. We got our drinks and a plate of food and chose our seats. I was so busy talking to the bartender that I didn't realize the band playing " Hotel California" which was my favorite song from this band. However once I return to my seats and looked down I enjoyed the rest of the concert. The screen was from ceiling to floor displaying cool 4D moving background for the music. Nothing was being thrown at us. No apples lol The stage was small and far from us so the band members were tiny but I zoomed in with my camera. Binoculars are recommended I think I got up and danced for a couple of songs as everyone else did. We had a great time! I can't wait to be back for other concerts and shows

We got tickets for the Eagles and it was at the Sphere. It was a VIP tickets so drinks and food was included. We parked at The Wynn and walked across. Once we arrived I had to show 2 security our tickets. The sphere is huge. It's a round giant screen but in reality once inside the screen only covered half the building. The projection was pretty cool depicting a 3D moving art. The Eagles was preforming so they sang songs such as Desperado and Hotel California while we ate and drink. We sat high above the stage so the band seems small but it was also projected onto the screen so you can see a close up of the band members. My wife and I had a nice evening. It was like a date night for us. Cheers!

Oh where do I even begin with this place?! The hubs insisted that we watch the Wizard of Oz here. I wanted to see the Backstreet Boys but he was dead set against it so Off we Went to See the Wizard. This was my first time seeing the Sphere in person and I was so excited but disappointed because you can't get the full effect right up underneath it nor in broad daylight (we went to the 2pm showing). We trekked it all the way up to the entrance and was hit with a gust of cold air the second we opened the doors which is exactly what was needed! Once we were let into the Sphere to find our seats I couldn't take my eyes off of...everything! There was just so much to see. They had a life size crystal ball in the middle of the floor with Dorothy and the shack and the wicked witch flying on her broomstick. There were life sized poppies next to the concessions area. There was a super expensive merch section as well if that's your thing. The hubs was hungry so he got some honey bbq wings and fries. The fries were delicious but I wasn't super impressed with the honey wings. Once we found our seats it was time for the show. This was a great experience and maybe everyone should see this at this particular venue, but I have watched the Wizard of Oz about 812 times in my lifetime and although it was cool to see the flowers go all the way up to the ceiling. Even though I would not go to watch this again, I enjoyed the interactive-ness of the show with the apples falling from the sky and the wind blowing my hair all around. I will however, come back for a concert at some point!

I came here for the Backstreet Boys concert and was so impressed with everything. Arriving from the Venetian was easy. There were signs everywhere directing us. Getting inside the sphere and passing security was also easy. In addition, there was also a lot of options where to get drinks and food. The prices were too bad either. The place was clean and beautiful. Watching the show was phenomenal. It was an immersive experience where even the seats vibrated. Exiting the venue was also no hassle. I absolutely enjoyed the concert and think that everyone should come to a show here when they're in Vegas.

Wow, this structure is so beautiful and it kind of lights up the whole city of Las Vegas. It's high-tech and they have movies here and the Wizard of Oz is playing until next year 2027 and then they switch it to the Rocky horror show. Tickets start at $104 as the cheapest to $240 if you wanna sit in the front with VIP tickets. Venetian is connected to the Sphere and ads for the movie are here. Shows are 2pm 5pm 8pm about 2 hours for the show.

    7/16/26 FYI. The after show.
    Lee D.

Quality/Quantity - Finally had the time to make it inside. Watched the Wizard of Oz and actually caught an apple!! And a few hundred leaves, lol. See pictures. The show was approximately 1.25 hours long. The after show in the lobby was approximately 15 minutes. Atmosphere - Cool sphere, digital art. Events venue. Suites are also available. Food and drinks are available inside. See pictures. Free wifi. Service - Good from the ticket counter employee to walking through security. Price - $250; but it also depends on the show and where you sit. Parking prices start at $25. Also a cashless venue. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since July 2023; wishing you the best.

    Ask the Community - Sphere

Does anyone know what the temperature is like in sphere during the Eagles concert?

Been here for other events. It's comfortable relative to outside in Vegas. Not sure that helps but was my personal experience. 70 degrees. A-C.

As someone who's sustained/survived being internally decapitated & consequently has lots of hardware in my neck, what section would you recommend I sit in?

205-208 or 305-308 so you can look directly at the screen in front of you. They are more centered and you will have a full direct view of the panoramic screen.

Taking 2 elderly handicapped ladies to the show on Thursday. We are Ubering down, is there an entrance to be dropped off or how do I get them to the show?

You can request a wheelchair assist from the ride share area

What are the upcoming venues through December 2025?

Only way to find out is by going to their website: https://www.thesphere.com/shows

It's my first time to visit Sphere and i'm not interested to watch a concert. How do i get a ticket to get inside the place and just explore? TIA…

There's no explore, if you don't want to attend a concert then you can buy a ticket for the Wizard of Oz or the Experience. Those two are the only way to explore the Sphere ... or a concert!…

Is there restaurants and good food at the sphere?

You can order fast food at the Sphere. Ie. chicken tenders, chips, etc… The Sphere is also attached to the Venetian Hotel with an all indoor walkway, so you can go to their restaurants and food court, pre and post show too.

Section 210 first row or section 203 6 rows back - what seats do you think would be better?

I would always choose the first row. Sat first row center in 300's and it was ideal.

Can I buy tickets at The Sphere on the day of the showing for Postcards from Earth?

Yes, but it is better to buy ahead of time online so you can choose your seats and to make sure they are not sold out for the day. There are discount vendors online such as Vegas.com where you can purchase tickets cheaper.

Are kids 2yo allowed? And if so what's the best show for them to see?

I don't know what their official rules are, but I think a two-year-old would be overwhelmed by the Sphere experience in any capacity. It is loud, flashing lights...could be scary.

Are they really strict with the bag dimension?

Sphere is a "no bag" facility, meaning that large bags and backpacks are not permitted inside the venue. Small clutches, purses, and fanny packs that are no larger than approximately 6 in. x 6 in. x 2 in., as well as diaper bags and bags required…

How long it the bridge to sphere?

Takes about 15-20 minutes to walk it

Is it cold inside The Sphere? Will I need a long sleeve shirt?

I went at the end of March. The temperature indoors was just right. Short sleeves would not be a problem.

Which section has the most comfortable seats?

Me and my wife sat right in the middle Sec 206, Row 16, Seat 15 - 16. These were awesome seats, great view of the whole screen. I think anywhere 207-205 would be the best, higher rows the better (rows 6-16). Section 100s are too low, you're looking…

Is food available at the sphere?

Yes. My bottle of water was &12.

Do they play movie in there?

The sphere requires a very complex camera for all footage used inside so they currently only have one movie--Postcard from Earth. I hope to see more movies in there soon!

Are security lines a long wait or do they move pretty quickly?

The crowds are a mess. The line stops for several minutes at a time, with no explanation or instructions about which line goes where. The staff are playing on their cell phones, not paying attention, just collecting a paycheck. I asked one…

Has anyone parked at the adjacent H parking lots? Is it a very long walk to/from the Sphere? Going after F1 & reserved onsite parking but Sphere refunded due to F1. If having difficulty walking, park at Venetian or H lots (H1 better?) -w/c better?

The parking and traffic around the Sphere is gridlock on event nights. You're better off parking further away and walking. We were at Paris and walked - it was easy and beats sitting in traffic.

Where are the bathrooms and emergency exits?

Please look for the signs, Restrooms and Emergency Exits are clearly marked.

What time should I arrive for the U2 show?

I stayed at Paris. Definitely recommend walking. Traffic is a stand-still before and after the show.

Are they strict on the purse policy of 6 by 6?

My purse was slightly bigger...maybe 6"x8"? & I had no issues going thru with it. I thought they'd make me open the purse & check but they just had everyone go thru the metal detectors.

Continuing in my scrapbook series representing July 2019 is Dolby Live in Vegas. July 2019-June…read more2020 I had a long-term relationship; so I have something represented each month. I was in Vegas for a wedding on Saturday, July 6, 2019. In early July 2019, we were only 3 dates in our relationship all in late June. So, it was me without her, and I stayed with my parents at Treasure Island. From the wedding, rehearsal dinner, etc, I got to know various people and saw people I hadn't seen in a long time. One of the couples (one I met a couple of times long time ago) & her husband (who I had never met), we built some good rapport. He said he had extra ticket to Aerosmith backstage pass here at Dolby Live, which I enthusiastically agreed. I think he sent the pass to me electronically. The next day Sunday, July 7 was the night of the Aerosmith concert. My parents dropped me off. I went in the designated entrance. Staff was cordial, but we are having a hard time accessing the tickets or the scan wasn't working. It was very strange. I explained to the staff about these being backstage passes that my friend sent me. It was a bit of back & forth, but ultimately, they said go that way to stand in line to get in. Wow, this was a magnificent large modern theater. Seeing Aerosmith on the side stage was incredible! Conclusions: So, we don't know for sure if those "friends" (who I barely knew) actually gave me real tickets or sent me some fake thing that wasn't supposed to work to play a trick on me. I will say when I arrive (late because of the hecticness with the tickets) I saw them saying thanks for the ticket, so cool! His face seemed to turn a paler shade of white, and he seemed stunned I was there like it was a trick. So, I kind of think the staff felt sorry for me with this ticket not working giving me the benefit of the doubt. In summary considering the staff was nice & helped me out, I got to give Dolby Live a 5-star! To be fair, I still would've given them 5, but even more-so in this case. In summary, I honestly believe the tickets were fakes, and he had no actual extra ticket and wanted to play a cruel joke on me. If I hadn't gotten in as they had intended, I would've been very depressed that not walking around MGM Park casino by myself until the concert was over. I'm not sure I would've mustered up telling my parents what happened and pretended seeing Aerosmith was cool. After that trip, I didn't see those people again, I live in Maryland, and they live in Arizona.

This theater is located in the park MGM. It seats about 6000 people which is ideal for me because I…read morehate being in a stadium so large you can't see the performers. We came here to see NKOTB and the visuals were insane for such as all stage. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I look for more things on this venue for sure. Acoustics was phenomenal and the lighting. Loved my time!!

Rollerskating while dipping and swerving and singing and swooning the whole building?! SHEESH. The theater is really nice, I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. Sound and acoustics were excellent. Views were amazing. Visuals were on ten. Staff was really helpful. Singing along to his songs was cathartic and fun, the whole crowd was vibing. He looked hot and had outfit changes, I mean dayum! This man is a born performer and engages the audience through it all. USHER IS A KINGGGGGGGG tho!!! Seeing him live will change your life and must be done. There's not many concerts I'd want to see a second time and this is definitely one I could see over and over and over~~~~

The comfortable, smartly constructed theater inside of Park MGM is where Usher performed and boy did Usher perform! For nearly two full hours, the crowd, which reached to the rafters, was treated to hit after hit from every Usher album ever made. We received Usher singing and grooving in all of his 45 year old fineness on four wheel skates, in a silk robe, rocking cool shades, busting out a handstand, in a glittery leather, being a flirt, a playboy, a lover and a cheater. There are so many sides to this legendary singer and we were blessed with them all. At one point during the VERY SEXY show, Usher stepped off of the stage, walked into the middle of the super adoring crowd and stayed there serenading us for a good while. The acoustics were superb as were his XXX dancers and his band. There were giant screens on each side of the stage so that nobody missed one moment of Usher's singing, dancing greatness, no matter how far they were from the stage. The Usher Residency in Las Vegas is the first concert that I say in all seriousness that I would be happy to go to again. I didn't get to grab any of the "Usher Bucks" that were unexpectedly blasted from a confetti machine in the end but still the greatest concert ever!
