Sperry's is REALLY close to my house. So close, in fact, that the only time I drive to Sperry's is if I have bottles to return. Sperry's selection is not the best I've seen, and I probably am biased a little due to the convenience, but it's decent, and they cover the basics plus the occasional unexpected it, which is really all you can ask for. Sperry's bottle collection is top notch. They accept unlimited returns and have a separate area in which to do it. It's a good reason to shop as Sperry's. You can bring all of your returns, your friends returns, your neighbor's returns, and then spend the cash on more beer or a bottle of wine. Also, the guys behind they counter have always been helpful and friendly. Which certainly doesn't hurt business. Now if only they'd build a Trader Joe's in the empty lot next door.... read more

You have two choices on where you can stop for in Hudson to get your drink on, this one is the easy in, easy out no frills one. It's got all your basics covered. Whats that old adage a store can only offer 2 of the following selection, convenience, and low price. Or something like that. Anyway this place is the last two. read more

I show up and exchange cash for booze. They have a standard selection, and one of the most flexible bottle return setups I've come across. I typically just stop by here on the way to Girl's House to grab a sixer or a bottle of wine. If I'm looking for something in particular, Sperry's doesn't hit my radar, but when I am not looking for anything, it's just fine. read more

I went there tonight and the lady on tried to charge me 5 dollars for a shot of red label and she did a no sale open cash draw claim and tried to lie to me about the price and what happen I think this store store should be more cautious about who they have working shifts and at that she was wearing pajama and on her cellphone kind of a turn off also no mask on read more

Smells and looks like someone's gross basement. The selection is narrowed down to big box beer brands with the exception of a few decent brews (not nearly enough Mass breweries represented on the shelves). Now to address the "Redemption Center." I would call it a provided space to sort your own bottles/ cans. Because my bottle's weren't in beer boxes, Sperry's collected 10 cents for every box I used. The person working played on his phone while watching me sort through four garbage bags of bottles and cans Luckily he allowed me to use the filth ridden bathroom to wash my hands, and after was handed a roll of paper towels. I'm certainly not expecting a warm towel and complimentary peanuts, but this place a DUMP! A dump running a sham for a business.... FAIL! read more

The absolute worst mark up I've ever seen on craft beer! It is absolutely despicable what they do with short release beers. In that I will totally boycott from ever purchasing anything from Sperrys ever again. if looking for a great place for alcohol especially craft beer I'd highly recommend Marlborough Wine & Spirits.... Over the winter an older man that was getting out of his vehicle slipped on a sheet of ice in Sperry's driveway. I ran into Sperry's and spoke With "Dallas". I'm not even sure if that is his correct name. The employee said "the driveway wasn't his responsibility". The next day I tried to reach out to the owner with no return call. From anyone... Several patrons helped the older man get to his feet. He was sober. Trying to buy wine for dinner. I flipped out on this employee and his counterpart in the store only to be treated like dirt by him and his bald manager every single time I shopped here. They are rude. Extremely. Tonight. I was told I am constantly rude to his employees. Guess what. I'm a 50 year old woman. I've been treated like dirt. My complaints are not being heard by no one in this store. These guys are really really rude to customers. In fact. After this incident they sold alcohol to a 19 year old girl which I recorded. And spoke to her outside the store. She giggled thought this was a big undertaking getting "over" at a liquor store. But, guess what fellas...I didn't. Why was she not carded? I'm done. You said today loosing one customer isn't a big deal. I get it. But, service to minors is NOT COOL!!! Your attitude is awful. And service to minors is just horrendous.... read more

I stop in looking for a specific John Walker blue label, as a gift. Which they did have but large size bottle and it was way to much. Manager told me they had a nice sample pack coming out for holidays and it would be in soon. Of course i needed it next two days. He than made some calls, located it a one of there other store and had it brought to marlborough store for the next morning. When i went there the next morning not only was it there, they gave me a nice discount on it. I had looked it up else where to see price. I was impressed with service!!! read more

Sperry's Liquor is the best place to buy liquor. They have a varity to choose from. The guys that work there are great, very helpful and friendly too. Recommend this place to anyone. read more

wish I could give it a zero; walked in today, as I was walking towards the counter, I said hi; the [hopefully not long] employee working looked at me and went back to what he was doing. when I got to the counter the the *** never even looked at me! walked out and sure he didn't care. but tony if you do, better look harder for real help!!!! p.s. this was the lincoln st. store. read more
