NORDSTROM RACK From…read morethe scattered reviews I read, I decided to stop at Nordstrom Rack. I was only three miles from their Brandon store and in need of a few men's shirts and dress pants. I was aware that Nordstrom Rack is the off-price retail division of the luxury department store chain, Nordstrom. I went there not expecting Walmart or other merchants prices. I found the men's shirts and pants racks and found several items that were the color and size I was looking for. A shirt that listed at $198.98 was on sale reduced 68% to a mere $74.96. It was a regular long sleeve shirt by Polo, Ralph Lauren. With all due respect to India where the shirt was made, I wondered what costly threads were used to make such a pricey shirt. The same was true of the pants and several other items. Mind you that these items in the off price store were on yet another discounted clearance rack in the store. Nordstrom may want to rethink their sales techniques at their chain of stores before people start realizing it's not a really an off price store.

You gotta run the store like a "Happy Plug" put the affordable stuff ip front and hide the "big guns" behind. Joke aside, i find it infuriating that every time i visit the Kitchen section its like they don't want to make money. Found the two things i been looking for but just wanted to see how much? No tags on the items no tags on the shelf and no QR or Sku reader in the location. It's insane to expect people to carry an 40-80lb equipment to scan it on the machine in the bedroom section n walk back. Naw i have a rule i practice as a law. If i have to do all the work to figure out the price? They ain't getting my money. Found some Cuban Guallaveras for a ridiculous price tag, worst insult? Made in china also. Like why even sell em at that tag price? Im aware alot of stuff are made in china, but its a bad call to tag em over 25$. That cost macys 1-5$ per shirt. I still gave em a four, the store clerks are friendly and kind, most quality is good the minus star is cuz the prices went way too up. Dillards in the other corner of the mall has better price range n specials. I usually buy my fancy shoes and purses.

Kohls is Kohls. It was Christmas time. The store was not busy but there is plenty to look at and…read morebuy. I found something I liked but it was on a rack that was the wrong rack. I searched all around and could not find the correct rack. The racks are messy. Disorganized and squished together. We overlook this because you can find the diamond in the rough. I searched for an employee for 15 minutes and found 1 in the checkout and 1 in the layaway. Nobody on the floor at all. Frustrating to say the least. BUT you can get some deals, so there is that.

There's one Kohls in MD where about everything on shelves and racks is in such disarray... not this Kohl's. Kudos to the management and the employees. Found a new dish set that matches my mother's current set. She liked it and said she rarely shops at Kohl's. I found going to this store so much easier and less hassle than shopping at the Brandon Mall.

A lovely lavender-colored Iris Jeans brand shorts, the only one, on clearance for a mere...wait for it...I'm still in shock myself...FORTY-NINE CENTS! Talk about a DEAL, huh? And, yes, I will wait until next Summer to wear them as temps have seasonably cooled. I passed on a pair of dark-blue jeans for just THREE-NINETY NINE. As good as that deal is, I am not in need of more jeans, dressy or casual, so if you're a size 5, I left them for you. My prior visit yielded another great bargain: A cotton-white cami for the SAME PRICE---FORTY-NINE CENTS! It's longer length is just what I was searching for. These fantastic deals do require some time in searching, so don't expect the Clearance rack to be overflowing with these rock-bottom prices. Thank me now, or thank me later. ;-D

When she understood what she did she called someone. Another person showed up and they wouldn't help me. After 30 mins someone comes and takes the pants n doesn't come back for another 15mins. To do what exactly? There's no way he gonna find inventory like it. They are donated clothes. Hence my argument about why even have inventory? Comes back to tell me just scan another pair of pants. BRO i told them this same shit at the start and they wasted 45 mins of my god damn time. Moral of the story? Don't waste your time they don't understand basic costumer service. Just scan another item in your basket and move on. Nobody is really giving a damn about quality control anyways. Why should you? By all means scan the same item 3 times and enjoy your $7 bucks of whatever. This place was way better with human cash register that knew what they were doing. I chose these for the flip tops actions also the price was at $3.99 which these bottles tend to be higher in value in brewing supplies shops. I chose to just take this n leave sense the store was getting bombarded n there was nobody in the line. So here's my 3 star experience, it should be lower but i feel for the staff during the holidays when everything is freaking crazy n the tempers are high AF. Joy, content and Fun safe environments create better sales n keeps people coming back. People have bad days n the best weapon u got already comes included in your face. Nice little smile n a hint of spice. Thats it, thats all you need to make it through the day. If it ever gets old? Get some hobbies or find something new to fall in love with every time it gets meh. No? There's literally a bar in the same parking lot lol. So why a three though? It's what they said afterwards that was my "Hell naw" moment. "If you would've counted!? I would cut your pinky n your toes off" they gave off unhinged smile n I didn't return mine. I was not impressed, it's not my energy to wish such horrible things to people cuz at the end of the day? It was their fault to let people come to them n then make em wait when they haven't even finish their current task. Either finish the task n then reset before every interaction or put it aside and focus on the great costumer support moment. They asked me if it would be funny to cut people's toe n pinky... I tried not being a cunt n coldly replied as calmly as i could mustered; "HELL NO, why the hell would that be funny!?" They piped down n kept interacting with the other cashier. They didn't even offer a bag, wrap, not even a; "thank you for shopping" or at least drop a recovery bs moment like; "sigh, I'm just kidding, just a little stressed out. Have a nice day" nothing crazy but humanizing yourself n a little "retraction" in the unsettling event. If this would've been someone else!? You would've been blasted down in center. I know people have hidden battles n suffer in silence. I do to n refuse to bring my baggage to work. *Dear supervisors, do not fire this person. Just remind them of creating Professional n positive experiences to all guest. maybe a nice incentive for the best customer Positive supporters get like .... Apple bees? Trust me, there is enough clothing that you don't have to fight over. There are times the Haitian women absolutely "hoard" a new bin, they pick up armfuls upon armfuls and put it in their cart and look it over when "they have time". They are the ones when the shoes come out, they position themselves so no one can even look. I digress. My biggest beef is NO AIR CONDITIONING! Come on guys! This is Florida, its June and it's HOT. Yesterday it was 91* outside and everyone was sweating in this very HOT warehouse, as it was 89* inside! Those poor employees! I spend money 2 times a week at this Goodwill. Any where's from $30 up to $80, and I just about left because of the heat. This store is bringing in thousands upon thousand's of dollars a day....and yet you cannot fix the air? I stopped into the store while visiting the Tampa area because I saw a light colored coat displayed in the window that I was interested in. The store was impeccable with everything organized and very tidy. The service that I received was exceptional and I loved the coat. The fit was perfect. The quality is what I expected and color was exactly what I wanted. I did not do any other shopping but their inventory was tempting. I will gladly return to this store on my next trip to the area.
