They have jewelry, baby items, cards that were hilarious and love the personal touch he's and how real the cards are. They have some cool stuff for Men if you wanna gift something. Their jewelry selection is very minimalistic and simple yet elegant from different vendors. We ended up getting the cutest Toy for our dog that's a shape of Idaho holding a cute little potato and a few stickers for our truck. You need to check this store out in Downtown area if you are looking to pick up some gifts for friends or family the quality of the items is def great and not cheap. When we checked out the girls up front were very friendly and helpful.

You can not not come out of this store empty handed. There are just too many goodies here. We came here after brunch today. Coming up to the store, they had a couple racks of beautiful succulents on display. I would have loved to purchase all of them but as simple it is to keeping succulents alive, I have a special talent for killing them. Walking into the store, you are immediately overwhelmed with all the little things everywhere! You don't even know where to being to look at but eventually you'll either go left or right. We made our way through this fun store. Mixed Greens is a big novelty store for adults! The store is filled with everything you can think of. I loved looking at nick nacks. Everything was just so prettily placed and delicately staged. From cooking utensils to hand held fishing grips to gemstones, it was hard not to touch everything. You can literally spend hours in this store and still miss something. We snagged a couple things for my mother in law for mother's day. It's nice knowing that her gifts didn't come from your everyday store. If you're looking for a unique gift or a treat for yourself, Mixed Greens is your go to joint to hit up. There's something for everyone in this store and it's great.

Located on 6th street, this shop is your one stop shop for all things Idaho, handmade and incredibly special. You can find blown glass, textiles, soaps, lotions, chocolate, peanuts, ornaments, shave oils, cutting boards, games, mugs, vases, ornaments and so much more. Most of my favorite makers were there (think Ladybug Press, Sawtooth Glass Project, City Peanut Shop, All Spun Up, Sage Woolens, etc.) It felt like a holiday craft bazaar that is open year round and housing the very best products. I found the selection to be varied and affordable. You could find things for men, women, children, pets and even yourself! It bears repeating that you are paying for handcrafted, small-business wares. It is not going to have the same price tag as a manufactured good from a big box store. It will be a higher price tag. I like to think that I'm paying for a story. My purchased items contain all the love, hope, and hard work that each maker poured into their product. I love to give handmade stuff for gifts and I think they are appreciated a lot more than something I could ship from Amazon. The shop keepers were lovely. I think they are some of the makers, but it was so very busy when I went in that I didn't want to bog them down with conversation. If you are looking for special presents, this is the place to go. Enjoy all the treasures.

I'm a huge sci-fi fan and love all things Star Trek and Star Wars. Seeing life-sized cutouts of Kirk and Spock definitely sets the mood. The captain's chair was roped off when I was there, so I didn't get a chance to sit in it...bummer. But it was still cool to browse and shop with the crew of the Starship Enterprise. As a lovely parting gift, my cousin bought me a Boise High Life T-shirt there. Next time I'm in Boise, I'll be back (although I don't remember seeing any Terminator stuff there but there very well might have been some!).

I thought that was so kind! I was locking up shop when Mike formally introduced himself to me. It was nice to have him go out of his way to talk to me. We chatted and me noticed my Hello Kitty purse. Of course he told me they had Hello Kityu goodies in the store. Even though they weren't quite open yet, Mike invited me in to check out the store! What a neat venue! It was almost overwhelming trying to look at everything! They have so much to look from Harry Potter, Marvel, socks to stickers. I made my way to the Hello Kitty area. They have a sorts of Sanrio goodies. Crystal also showed me other Hello Kitty goodies that they had. She was so sweet! I appreciate her taking the time to show me other products they had! This store is legit the coolest in town. In addition to them being so dope, they also have the best people working there! If you're looking for a cool spot to buy pop culture products. Although this is 30 minutes from our front door, it is our go to when we're looking for pastured pork or poultry products. (We don't eat beef but they have that too.) If they had a good selection of local lamb cuts it would be golden for us - our favorite protein - but it is a harder sell for them so they carry less. (Americans consume on average only 1 pound of lamb / person / year. And about 97 pounds of chicken per person annually. Both are shocking numbers.) We purchased bone-in pork shoulder from Malheur which I boned and cut up for Asado de Bodas (aka Mexican wedding stew, I think, sort of mole meets asado de puerco) cutting off the beautiful fresh fat cap to render down for sauteing the veg, and using the bone to make a pork broth to freeze for pozole sometime in the future. And if you like to cook Italian food, Malheur made jowl bacon (otherwise known in Italy as guanciale) this winter which was sold here and is THE perfect thing for carbonara and Amatriciana sauces. My Brooklyn born hubby is Italian heritage and grew up with an Italian speaking nonna in the kitchen so we have used a lot of guanciale - not in Boise though where it is hard to find - and this is the best we have ever used. Still not carrying much fresh market produce but they have added Acme Bread to the line up and on Saturdays I think Acme rotates in a special kind of loaf. From time to time they have had "meet the maker" tastings on Saturdays for some of the vendors they carry. And here's a tip you'll thank me for - if they have local Morning Star Acres jam on the shelf, buy it. Especially the huckleberry! SERVICE: The owner is on site almost all the time, very friendly, very responsive to FB messaging if you have questions about something in stock and always able to help by phone too before making a trip if you're looking for something specific. SET UP: Small but with a good expanse of windows it is light and bright and well organized with refrigerator / freezer case along one wall, larder / pantry shelving next to that with food products for sale and other items - like local artists and crafters goods for sale- also placed around the store. ACCESSIBILITY: ADA parking correctly designed for van access striping on the passenger side adjacent to building. Small ramp up to sidewalk. All on one floor. Ample floor clearance. The loo fails ADA and Idaho code compliance with counters and towel dispenser too high. The eat in counter has only high stool level seating so inaccessible. The ADA is 30 years old in July and it is past time to get this right everywhere for equal access. (Yep. I have a dog in this hunt since I have had MS since college.) LOCATION: In the Bench neighborhood right across from Idaho Youth Ranch thrift shop and just next door to a Vincent St. Paul sales store. PARKING: Private lot has about 15 parking spaces.
