Playground review:…read more School's out on spring break so I decided to take my kids to the playground. This playground looked new and really nice. The playscape was large with plenty of slides and ladders. There were basketball courts and a soccer field. There was a big ball pit where a bunch of kids were playing in. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because there was a trash pile on the ground. Also, this is not usually open to the public especially during school hours. Parking was plenty further down in the school's parking lot. Overall a decent play area for the kids right across from the library and school.

As I have heard St James is one of the best schools in the Manchester area (blue ribbon). The…read moreteachers are excellent and instill discipline, morals values, traditions and social norms as they guide students for a better academic future. It's good that they have uniforms. Though this could be seen as an expense to the parents, this is one way to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor. I guess this logic would work in a public school and not a private one, as only rich parents would be able to afford a private school. The school is in a residential community that causes inconvenience to the neighbors but the school is able to build a good rapport with the neighbors by hiring staff to guide traffic during busy hours. There is a lot of focus on religion in the school. If the school plans to build on diversity, this would be a good time to educate kids on different religions with primary focus on Christianity (catholic).

Tessa, the woman who helped me with the admission process was nothing to but helpful and professional! After talking with her on the phone and through emails, I finally met Tessa. She is exactly what I imagined - very friendly and her smile is very welcoming! From admissions, financial aid, to registration and getting my class schedule, the entire process was quite easy! Never a moment where something went wrong. I am yet to meet my advisor, his name is Antwon - and I have heard nothing but fabulous things about him! Something that really stands out about Middlesex Community College (MxCC) is the way they treat their students who have disabilities/different abilities! Nothing but empathy, acceptance, inclusion, and kindness! I have absolutely nothing to worry about - because I know I'll be able to fit in with no issues. For someone who has dreamed of obtaining a job in the Criminal Justice field for years (me), this is the best place to start! It is a 2 year journey of studying to earn my associates degree, then I can graduate. Class of 2025! To me, 2 years is not a long time - I'll be finished in no time. Middlesex Community College, thank you for making the beginning of my college journey smooth! I feel so happy, grateful, and very blessed!
