What a fine high school. It gets top ratings for a good reason. It IS tops in the Sciences, Arts,…read morelanguages, etc. My son just started here a few months ago, and what a difference it's been since our own high school days! It's a full time job just to read up on all it has to offer. All is as it should be, since this is a VERY highly taxed area. You get what you pay for here. iPads for all students? And the facilities are huge and wondrous. Well tended and with good security. Communication is good, too. For a high school experience, I can't imagine it gets any better than this. *Note: just make sure you know where you are headed. I got lost a lot on parent night. I'd never make it to class on time!

The Country School's culture is one of acceptance and nurturing. The emphasis on character building is just as important as academics. The small size of the school and classes makes this all possible and successful. The faculty is amazing. Every child is treated as an individual and taught in the same manner. I feel very fortunate to be able to drop my children off at school in the morning and have no worries of the bullying and harassment that my daughter experienced in Madison a Public School.

Though this could be seen as an expense to the parents, this is one way to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor. I guess this logic would work in a public school and not a private one, as only rich parents would be able to afford a private school. The school is in a residential community that causes inconvenience to the neighbors but the school is able to build a good rapport with the neighbors by hiring staff to guide traffic during busy hours. There is a lot of focus on religion in the school. If the school plans to build on diversity, this would be a good time to educate kids on different religions with primary focus on Christianity (catholic).
