I called the emergency service lines for most of the major outfits that service the Brockville/Smith Falls corridor. I explained that I had a houseful of relatives coming to celebrate the first Christmas in my new home (an older farmhouse north of Brockville) I felt desperate and despair when I realized I had to cancel Christmas as I had no working toilets, sink or showers. Most of the services stated they could not send anyone for several days. Later that afternoon got a call back from Sheldon Pilatzke, who patiently listened to my situation and started to help me troubleshoot the situation.
