I don't drive 2 hours to Home Depot to avoid going to sbs because the selection is better (which it is) or the products are better (which they are) or the prices are better (which they are). I do it because the staff at sbs are unacceptably rude. Folks here act like they are doing you a favor. You know the drill, entitled staff that avoid being helpful and are rude and put out when you ask for assistance. Forget about trying to return something. It is a 30 minute process. Seriously hit up Home Depot or lowes before coming to sbs in homer. read more

The people who wrote the negative reviews are twisted. I've been going to SBS for 18 years and find the vast majority of the people to be very helpful and courteous, the SBS policies are fair on returns and it is a friendly atmosphere. read more
