My husband and I put the yurt together in a day and a half. Everything we needed was in the box: silicon, drip ring, and all the screws. The screws were in individual baggies and labeled. It looks like the employees of NS love their jobs because the attention to detail of the outside cover, the stitching, the custom door, the packing of the box- all of it! We even FaceTimed them to ask a question and they were very helpful. Highly recommend- looking forward to buying a bigger one next time!

There was an overcharge on our bill - we called - they checked records - and they fixed it. We had an issue with the on-demand hot water heater hookup and they came out and fixed it. I didn't sleep over a month from the noise. I paid $800 which included 4.5 hours of labor. when I personally figured out what was wrong they said they would fix it. I then waited 2 weeks for them to show up only to get a text message from the tech saying he didn't feel comfortable to work on it. this was because I was obviously frustrated that nothing had been fixed over these months! I never asked for a refund and they refused to help him. They all seem nice and professional but the fact that I have lived here my entire life and they refuse to help me simply because they know they are at fault and wont stand behind their work. Sadly they are about the only help you are going to get in Homer. So i guess make sure to not try to question their pricing or lack of integrity. who knows how ill get any help now.

On August 11, 2019, my husband & I went on the guided walk "into the bush" of Katmai National Park…read morewith Emerald Air. It was the most amazing experience and the highlight of 2 weeks in Alaska. It even beat flying over Denali. We had a great pilot, Dave, and an amazing guide, Lance. He educates you about the brown bears and explains what the bears are doing and anticipates what they will do next. We saw at least 20 bears and cubs on our hike and when they walked by us (15-20 feet away!!) Lance was in front and reassuring us we were fine. The bears are so full from eating salmon, they just walk by. You will get amazing photos and video of this beautiful walk among the bears. Emerald Air gears you up with waders so you have no problems crossing the streams. You will not be disappointed and you will have a true respect for these amazing bears.
