Austin (foreman) and Michael did a very conscientious installation of my gutters and downspouts. The downspouts were color-matched to the siding color of my house. Interesting to watch the extrusion of the gutters. Austin insured the proper gradient of the gutters towards the respective downspounts. Their on-site customer service was excellent. The Front Office, however, is woefully lacking in their invoicing procedures and their billing services; took them a month to straighten-out my correct invoice price and to charge to my charge card. It is a very good thing that I keep complete personal notes of all business communications. That Front Office poor performance knocked off a star; I'm still a fan for the field installation work that Austin and Michael did. A contractor who worked on the remodeling of my house recommended this company to me. A lot of my neighbors have purchased their raingutter systems from this outfit.

They delivered. She sent a quote as well as information about the product and the warranty and some samples to select the color we wished. We agreed on price (which I felt was reasonable) and scheduled the installation. The crew arrived on time on the day they promised. The gutters were installed by a crew of three nice young men (they even called me "Ma'am"). The young men were professional, respectful of my property and took care of details and installed the gutters flawlessly right down to the sealant. The downspout on one side required one worker to cut a hole in the Trex deck. It was cut very nicely, was a tight fit and looked good--much better than I expected. After the installation was complete, the crew wiped down the gutters with a rag and even took some spray paint to touch up some small imperfections. I say small imperfections but I should have said no imperfections because I really couldn't see them from my vantage point. Another reviewer said they had some issues with payment. However, I paid right after completion with a credit card so I had no issues. Thank you for doing a good job. I highly recommend this business.

Hardboard is a dark brown and either solid or with holes in it commonly called peg board and used with various pins to hang tools or any object you wish to hang in plain view. I did not find what I needed at my normal GoTo big all purpose home supply. They closed the SBS in Eagle River during COVID and never reopened. It has been a great loss to our area. Their is on several miles away in Anchorage or in Wasilla. We were in Wasilla to pick up a large used double order item my wife bought on Market Place online. We passed the Wasilla SBS on our way to pick up the item. On our return we stopped at SBS to see if they had the hardboard. They did and at a considerable savings to what I was almost going to buy because I couldn't find the 4 x 8 sheet of hardboard. We were very pleased and I told them I miss them dearly in Eagle River. They were able to identify exactly what I needed from my vague description of what I remembered the board to be as I did above and what I was going to do with it. They were helpful and efficient. Escorted us into the employees only warehouse to see the two choices they had so I could select just what I needed after comparing them. That is excellent service for a customer that is looking for one item of very little value overall to their profit margins. SBS is an excellent source of building materials, home appliances and hardware. I have been a customer for over 50 years. Thank you
