Currently arguing through email to send back a set of second gen Camaro headers that don't even come close to fitting. They told me I need to put my transmission bracket in first. If they had any sense and listened to me. The only reason the engine and transmission brackets had been removed were in order to adjust the height and levels to accommodate for the headers. They sit at 2 different heights with about a 2-3" clearance difference. One hits the floor pan while the other will drag on the street. Unless I want my engine and trans turned side ways at about 30 degrees these will not fit. They treat you like your an idiot rather than just return the Chinese junk their selling. 3rd time repeat customer on 3 different cars, this is the only place I will go to get suspension work done on imports and euros! Today I had quickstruts installed to lift my gen4.5 Toyota Camry. On previous cars I had my gen4 Camry lowered and my APR stage 2 gti lowered. Each time I had work done on my car it was clean inside/out and the shop guys always professional. Every time I come in for service, they never try to upsell or BS me - in the business and automotive world they are a dying breed. Greet prices and sincere feedback is why I don't need to go anywhere else. If you tell them the project you need done, they will tell you whether or not they will take the project on - even if involves aftermarket parts. When I was hanging out in the store waiting on the install to finish, the atmosphere of the employees/owners are a group of car guys that just happen to work for a good shop. Not like at a dealership or a chain store that is trying to nickel and dime my car to death. Speedzone is a bit of a drive for me but the amount small gas and time in commute I give up for high quality service and treatment is well worth it to me. Back in June I came into Speedzone Performance, I wanted to upgrade my exhaust system for my 2010 Infiniti G37xS sedan, due to my Factory exhaust being old and damaged. So I came and talk to Gianni. he hook me up with a Tanabe Medalion catback, even though I wanted a full system Y-pipe, mid pipe, etc. he order a Tanabe medalion y-pipe, and I asked to verify if the ypipe will fit due to the car being AWD and needing to clear the transfer case. Gianni said yes it will fit. (At the time I didn't know Tanabe doesn't make exhaust for G37x.) after having to call the shop and Gianni several times in two weeks. After finally getting the ypipe I put the exhaust on the car (in July) I noticed upon installing the ypipe didnt clear the transfer case. I had the exhaust shop make extensions and it worked. Soon after installation the why pipe was making squealing/squeaking noises while driving. I took it back to the exhaust shop to check it out. We looked over Everything and could not find where the squeaking noise was coming from. So it's only been a couple of weeks after installation and I sent a video to after calling Gianni telling him what's going on and proceeds to tell me that "it is how the pipe was installed." My response "that it's not." So we set up an appointment and after taking my car to them to see for themselves. After they were done looking at the car Gianni proceeds to contact Tanabe for a replacement in late July early August and it's now October and I have called for update and I get no response most of the time and no updates. I have numerously called for the tracking number sent text sent emails and nothing. To be honest communication sucks and I'm not too happy waiting months for replacement white pipe on top of some homemade y-pipe that someone made and sent it to me to just run with it. Staff is cool but the communication SUCKS especially when everyone is hanging out at the shop doing nothing but just goofing off when I pull up randomly. read more
