Pizza was pretty inexpensive, for our experience here we ordered takeout and had our pizza delivered to us. The delivery was expensive, so a tip, I recommend to pick up the pizza if you are ordering to go. We ordered one pizza and wings. As for the pizza, the pizza was delicious and the price was unbeatable! The staff member we spoke with bragged about how delicious their wings were, I have to contradict that statement. The wings were disgusting, very sloppily made, and very slimy. They tasted like frozen wings that were quickly reheated in a microwave. Hence, I do not recommend their wings. Their pizza was good, we had a large half pepperoni and half Hawaiin with peppers. Overall, pizza is good, but wings were disgusting, do not order the wings, stick to the pizza only. read more

Speedy's recently beat out Xtreme Pizza for my pick as the best pizza in El Paso. It rivals my all time fave (Barro's Pizza in Phoenix, AZ) and is the only place in town that gives you the right amount of cheese in my opinion. Pillowy crust, just the right thickness. Sauce is just sweet enough. My son's favorite is just sausage and cheese so that's what we get most of the time but I have tried other toppings and was very happy with the quality. They are pretty speedy and the price can't be beat. $3.99 for a one topping medium? Hell yes. Their wings taste like they're baked, maybe liked Little Caesars style but bigger and fattier. Not really my favorite. And if the pizza wasn't so amazing, I would dock a star for the wings because they are under-whelming... I have yet to try their other sides. read more

The last 2 weeks we have ordered from the East Lake Rd location and both times they made mistakes. We usually order wings and request the honey baroque and each time have gotten it wrong. Also, we order Diet Coke well this time they got right but the first time they gave us regular coke. Each order I have to check when I pick it up. One of the best in the Horizon City area. We usually have it delivered until recently when the delivery charges became a little high. Picking it up was more convenient since we live so close. The honey wings are great along with a large mushroom, onions and sausage, large pizza. The sofas are high so we usually avoid. They usually have specials. Okay so this is one of my fav. pizzas and this is the only acceptable Speedys location. Something about their crust keeps me here. It's delicious!! And only $5.40 for a Large 1 Topping Carry Out, even better. But my issue is the staff. Oh my... the staff is a joke. I get that they're kids but the managers aren't any better. If you see my review for their Montana location you'll see it's a Speedys thing. Asked a staff member if there was a manager around, she quickly nodded yes and stared at me until I asked if she was one, she responded, yes. I was mid sentence when all of a sudden the actual manager comes behind her, and the girl says "Oh here!" Lol. What?! Didn't you just tell me YOU were the manager? I always laugh when I'm here. I'm a fan of Speedy's. My husband and I tried it one night when we were craving pizza, didn't want Dominos, and had drank one more glass of wine than would allow for driving. We decided that this would be a decent option that would allow us the best of all worlds-- getting non-chain pizza fast and without leaving our couch! We were right. We ordered a large pepperoni pizza and some buffalo wings. They arrived quickly and without issue. The pizza was good (and very cheap!)-- nice and flavorful, not too greasy. I usually prefer thinner crust pizzas, but their standard crust is not so bready that I couldn't handle it. The wings were very good too-- nice and spicy! My initial response to Speedy's pizza was upset because they took 5ever to deliver (even though I live down the street...). Despite my original complaints, they completely made it up to me be sending a very attractive, young man. And to top it off, he was very polite. Placed a order online and paid with my card online. When the delivery guy showed up he asked for cash. I said that I had already paid with my card online. He said it didn't go through, so I paid cash. After he left I decided to check my account and I had a pending charge from them. Called the number that I was given if I had any questions about my order. After explaining what happened they told me they had no record of my order and transferred me to the store that should have. After explaining again what happened they said they weren't able to cancel the charge to my card. They wanted me to waste my time and wait for the driver to bring my cash back (was unable to tell me how long that would be, just some time tonight). Best pizza ever!!!! Omg it so good. It's not SPEEDY...but whatever it's a fairly good price...cheaper if you pick up. The ranch dressing is by far the best ranch I've had in YEARS. I love ranch dressing but normally I hate it with pizza because it tastes so gross....but this? Goooodddd!!! Also, the delivery driver was super nice. Young kid genuinely surprised that I gave him a generous tip. It's what people do when it's stormy and end of the night. I just wanted pizza. Yeah, this ain't bad at all. This is a great deal for my large family especially if you opt for carry out. We ordered four larges, all a little different, for about $26. When I mentioned we were moving, the kid behind the counter happily offered free plates and napkins. When I mentioned we were military, he offered a discount. So I liked the service at this store. The pizzas enjoyable enough, nothing to write home about, but good. Their specialty pizzas (there's a Hatch chili pizza concoction- hey, it's El Paso!) look pretty good.
