I had high hopes for this place because there really aren't many options for Chinese food in Washington. We've ordered from here a few times now and each dish gets more and more disappointing. Flavorless and really cheap ingredients. Kung Po chicken has more veggies than chicken. There might have been 8 pieces of chicken in this dish and then they fill it with vegetables to make it look like a substantial serving. It should be renamed Kung Po Vegetables. Regardless of what you order, all the brown sauces taste the same, flavorless. Service is fast and no ambiance at all because it's carry out only. Disappointing and will never order from here again. These guys are definitely skimping to make a buck or two. read more

I stopped going to this restaurant quite a few years ago because the food was bland but recently they have really stepped it up a notch. It is delicious and flavor full now and I will go back highly recommend it. I went back there tonight for dinner and got the shrimp egg for Young and chicken wings and everything was just so delicious. I'm new in town and was looking for some good Chinese food. I'm so glad I took a shot at Speedy Wok! I only ordered Crab Rangoon & Steamed Dumplings, but man, both were so good! The Rangoon was fried as good as I've ever had it and the dumplings are homemade (I can tell) and delicious! I'll definitely be going back & trying out some more menu items. read more

Speedy Wok is a nice little place. The food is always well-prepared (If you ask them to make it spicy, they'll actually make it spicy!) and the service is fast and friendly. This is the standard strip-mall chinese place that you can find in just about every town in the US. You will get consistently good takeaway from this place. Surprisingly, I would rank this a one of the top 10 places to eat in Washington, NC. I ordered off menu several times without any issue. i seen the speedy wok next door where i was doing my laundry. and i am new to the area so i said..yummy so i ordered my food and paid for it. i found out real quick i had the wrong order they gave me sweet and sour chicken. ... not sesame seed chicken. i went back and told the man and he said no you order the sweet and sour chicken. ....i dont like sweet and sour anything. ....so they took the money and did not give me what i paid for. not a good first impression. ...i gave my food to a needy person who likes sweet and sour chicken. nd on top of it all i gave the man a tip....for nothing. well i won't go into that place anymore even if the food is good. bad attitude and nasty management that star is a negative one read more

The only dish I came for was the Singapore noodles. Truly, they are not bad, but certainly not the best I've ever had. I give 3 stars. Two stars for the noodle dish and the other for customer service. So far, I've had the noodles on three occasions. The first two times the noodles were very dry (as I said not the best) also I've tried the spring rolls supposedly they were shrimp & pork. Well, I will say NOT YUMMY. The last thing I've eaten was the seafood soup...... Arh...um also, NOT YUMMY however, the service has always been great, the lady that has taken order very friendly and attentive. This is my familys fav place to get chinese in town. The food is standard, but the prices are reasonable, the food is consistent ,and the people are hard working. The woman in front is smart and friendly and never stops moving. They offer gluten free soy sauce packets and have a no sodium , no fat alternative menu. My kids love their chicken wings and fries, crab rangoom and shrimp lo mein. They work every day, i dont think they ever take a day off, and have very long hours, very late, i think 11 on weekends.
