Awesome eye for detail , they use "Groupon" but the next time I will pay direct as the equipment I have never seen before . It's called a " Zipper" Suction and brush system that extract the steam cleaning fluid and brushes up deep dirt. We have dogs and it's a constant mess with this winters rain and compounded with the wind storm we just had the dogs are constantly tracking in dirt. They were able to get every spot up and didn't ask for more money or complain. They are easy going and personable . But more importantly really had work with attention to my requests were I would point out heavy traffic areas the were really nasty. This is my first ever review on Yelp, but the experience was so terrible that I wanted to let others know. Speedy Steamers has a yellow page ad which quotes $75 for carpet cleaning. I called to book an appointment, and the phone operator (boss) said that it would be almost $200 for the special cleaning. I said I wanted a 'regular' cleaning, and he agreed to their ad price of $75. They missed the first 2 appointments. I called back, letting them know that I absolutely had to have the carpets cleaned so I could move out that day. He avoided my calls but eventually sent the technician over. When he arrived, the technician looked over the house and gave an estimate of $200. I told him the original quote was $75. He stated that the house was so large that they had to charge more (What! We live in a duplex of about 1100 square feet!). He added that they have to charge more because the carpets are extra dirty. I look around and see new-looking carpets (we never wear our shoes in the house). At this point, I call back the boss to ask about our agreed upon price. I explain that I have been very patient through their 2 missed appointments, but now they were overcharging and this was too much. He says something along the lines of, "this is the price, take it or leave it." I left it, feeling angry and annoyed that I now had 4 hours to get my carpet cleaned before turning in my keys. This is a very unethical and unprofessional business, and I would not recommend them to anyone. THE GOOD NEWS: Many thanks to the guys at Hurtado Brothers--we called and they came the same afternoon and did the job for $120. They called around 9:40 to tell me that they can't access my building and had to pass the business to a different company that has portable device. I am thoroughly confused by the high ranking. I was a little nervous when I spoke to a man on the phone that seemed semi-nice but not professionally fine-tuned but their price seemed comparable to some other places. Setting the time was the easy part.... Getting them to actually show up was IMPOSSIBLE. Not long before the agreed upon time, the technician indicated his team finished the previous job early and wanted to start mine early. I've been using Speedy Steamers for 3 years now and I absolutely love them. I first used them in my previous place where I had hard wood floors. You might ask, why I would need a cleaner for hard wood floor? Well, I didn't for my floors :). I have a dog who loved to get dirty and jump on my sofa or occasionally throw up on our sofa. I used them once a year to touch up the sofa. I'm now a regular since their service has been reliable. I recently bought a house with wall to wall carpet in 50% of the rooms. Speedy Steamers was just that -- speedy! Jimmy and his team arrived promptly on an early Saturday morning and went straight to business. Our entire house is fairly large and ALL carpet! Needless to say, it's a big and tough job to take on. After a quick few hours, our carpet was bright and the entire house looked as good as new. Our carpet felt fluffier and didn't look so worn out. They were able to remove tough stains and revamped the dingy areas that get a lot of foot traffic. Aside from the thorough and detailed carpet cleaning, customer service and communication is just as quick and attentive. Since we were allowing someone in our bedrooms, kids rooms, etc. for a good amount of time, it was important that we found someone trustworthy and respectful of our home and personal space. Jimmy and his crew were polite, mindful of our rooms and furniture, and also made sure to tell us what areas he'd be working on next so we can navigate and migrate with our toddler accordingly. What I really liked about Speedy Steamers is the quality of work and customer service that i recieved from them and at the price range that I was looking for. (I didn't feel like i was being robbed at the end of the job.) Before I even used Speedy, i did quite a bit of research and just couldn't seem to find anyone that i liked. Finally, I really needed to find someone fast to clean all the carpets in my house before a party that I was having in a couple of days and my brother in- law suggested Speedy. Since my brother in-law had nothig but good things to say about them, i decided to give them a try. Not only was I upset because before this new couch I owned leather couches so wipe off clean easy.... With my new microfiber couch I was clueless. Speedy Steamers came to my carpet cleaning rescue! I tried removing the stains myself but ended up creating bigger stains instead. I have cream carpet, two teenaged girls, and a black lab that create some messy trails. I needed immediate carpet cleaning service and they were able to accomodate my needs based on the short amount of time I gave them. They were extremely efficient in getting the job done! My experience was very good. I had a -small- job for them to do...cleaning the carpet out of one of my project cars. Most places I had called were charging quite a bit more. Speedy was offering car cleaning (seats, carpet) for $90. They were even agreeable to clean the carpet set from my project car, and then clean the cloth seats in my other car. Their receptionist was polite and let me know their truck would be at my home between 9 and 11am. The guys arrived at 940am and apologized for being late. (they were right on time in my book) They made sure I was happy with the work and gave me some tips on making sure things dry properly.
